Jenna Snow I made a recipe very similar to the wings in this video, and because I baked them first, as in the video, then fried them, they were too soft for my taste, no pun intended. I can't remember if I just deep fried the cauliflower the second time I made the recipe, or if I baked them first, just not as long. But, the second recipe was much better.
You can mix the wet and dry ingredients for dredging together (I usually roll them i breadcrumbs too but it's not necessary), dredge them raw and just cook them entirely in the oven. Much easier and a bit healthier.

Not to bring you down or anything (the recipes are great as usual!), I just want to tell you that I don't really like this new format and wish you would revert to the old one where you go slower and speak to the camera instead of music in the background. Also, I liked the subscriber of the week part. I totally understand if you want to keep this format but I am just giving you my honest opinion as a loyal fan because I really liked it the old way and I don't want anything to change, or maybe you could do both? When I say do both, I mean do the detailed videos concentrating on a single or a couple recipes and do the montage-style videos or even make playlists with all the videos included?
I agree too. I like food videos better when we see and hear you making the dishes. I don't feel a connection to the content creator when videos are done this way. I have a hard time watching Mary's Test Kitchen videos too, same format.

I don't really like cashew nuts based sauces and dips, they all have slightly sweet aftertaste, so I've started to use walnuts instead and it's a true revelation. And now I need deep fried pickles in my life 😂
aleksandra łosowska I'm not being sarcastic here, but don't knock it if you haven't tried it. I'm not a fan of pickles, but deep fried pickles are the bomb. I've deep fried a mixture of veggies for a veggie platter.....pickles, carrots, shrooms, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, green beans. Delish!!!!!!!
