This song is from Paul's solo album Cut Loose. He played all the instruments on it. Jimmy liked the song so much he requested The Firm cover it. Great call Jimmy 😊👍

Most people don't know this song was originally done by Paul Rodgers a couple of years earlier on his solo album, then in '86 The Firm did another version of it on their second album Mean Business. This live version is from late '84 before they even released their first album.
What a song Jimmy's guitar so haunting brilliant playing soft sweet tender fast fierce wailing so emotive could be the best solo he played live and the record version
I remember hearing the studio version of this for the first time and being hypnotized by the guitar solo...Jimmy had a long and hard road back from both heoin addiction and the death of John Bonham, and of course the demise of Led Zeppelin...listening to his phrasing and the melodic journey that a Jimmy Page solo would take a listener on,. I knew he we was all the way back. He does the same here in a live setting...takes you on a journey.

Tony Franklin first time I ever heard of him but from what ive heard is one greatest bassist. Chris slade a very unique drummer This group never got the recognition that's due them.
Out of all the Firm bootlegs where Live In Peace appears, this is my 2nd favorite version. Such a powerful song! I'm still surprised & disappointed to this day that this song wasn't more popular.
