The weight of the passing of 27 years just dropped on me after watching this, along with all the shit that goes with it. School, work, marriage, family, loss, death, all the good and bad. Make the most of the time you have, before you sputter out.
Is this the only version he's ever done live where the "before I sputter out" is like the studio version? He changes the timing in every other one I can find. Glad this exists.
I just find the 90's much more interesting for music and music culture than the 80's. And I was a teenager in the 70's. This is a great, unembellished performance. TFI booked just about everyone that mattered in the late 90's. Except Portishead. I don't think they played on TFI.

great band.a very creative era for singers songwriters when guitars ruled the the music scene.happier times
what are you talking about? The post Grunge era was full of crappy boy bands made by corporations, of course Eels is peak and we can both agree
There were the gorgeous 80s, then the beautiful 90s and finally the 2000s...sputtered out.
ok boomer
@@JaneNayes I deserved that with such a inflammatory comment. Truly, there is great music to be found to this day. It is more easily accessed too.
@@JaneNayesit’s true though, what he says
There's still good music and even the same bands... I still understand his sentiment.
@@feltongailey8987Don’t get your panties all dirty. It’s a joke.
One of the most authentic and best live performances of this song!!
Classic Eels what a fckin sound . Seen them 5 times they never disappoint 🎸
