My Feelings for Humanity in Genshin Impact is "Don't rock the boat too much or will all fall into the sea!" So the best outcome is having a new captain of that boat who you can trust.

Even Arlecchino is super strong! If Neuvillette and Arlecchino would ever have to fight then who'll win! The reason it stops evolution and creates a sort of samsara is because advancement of civilization creates exponentially more bubble universes, which are the leaves and limbs of the Imaginary Tree. If a tree has 10 primary limbs but one suddenly is having an order of magnitude more numerous branches than any of the others, the tree itself would either collapse or eventually become some different entity together. Hence the "pruning" to avoid that outcome, with the samaras being the only solution except eventual annihilation because, well, can "evoution" or "progress" on a universal scale ever be stopped, by definition alone even? 🤓
This is exactly the reason why i won't agree with the idea that natlan having technology is immersion breaking and doesn’t fit aesthetically Also i believe that the Primordial one is a human whose trying to keep humanity safe for it own good knowing full well that it can't.

So The Primodial One story is very similar to Decarabian, Mondstadt's old God, who shields people of Mondstads from the blizzard and keeps them safe from outside's danger. But people of Mondstadt feels that they're in cage too and ended up dethroned him and follow Venti as the new God

My theory is that paimon is the primordial one and due to the battle 500 years ago in the cataclysm they lost a lot of their power and thus will reduce to a smaller form after they sent the twins to Teyvat

Seriously stop gasing up the Honkai and making it sound as if it’s this constant universal threat, it’s really not, otherwise we would have encountered it in HSR while visiting other worlds, not to mention we know it can only affect one planet at a time it can’t affect the whole Imaginary Tree. I don't see any other choice for the Heavenly Principles. They let humanity progress on their own, humanity dies. They themselves leave Teyvat, they die from whatever was after them. They try and work with humanity to guide them, humanity becomes too advanced and either destroys itself or brings the honkai onto themselves. The only option they have is to force control onto humanity and limit them.
Traveler will save teyvat from the abyss and the heavenly principles Abyss and Heavenly Principles are like the biggest threat in Teyvat. Traveler or Neuvillette should be in charge instead of those pesky Usurpers
