Took me a minute, the gaps are the same size as the bars so the bars behind are offset so that the bars perfectly fill the gaps, looking like a solid sheet of plastic

If you look at it closely the holes and gaps between overlap causing a filled in appearance whilst when the holes line up they cause it to, well, have holes. I have eased your brains, you’re welcome 🫠
