    I think this explains my Mazda 5 vibration/ noise on turns and acceleration. Yet boots and everything from outside looks clean and new.

    Подскажите пожалуйста купил Б/у полуось левую для замены, продавец сказал 90000 км проехала, нужно ли поменять смазку перед установкой? пыльники сухие в хорошем состоянии!

    The vibration under load on these cars is almost always a worn out passenger side cv axle

    The lower control arm is supposed to be tightened under the weight of the vehicle.

    How did you install the axle itself? Does it just slide in? Seems too easy lol

    • @L8R-HP
      @L8R-HP  3 роки тому

      Yes just slides in. It should click into place. You could tap it with a rubber mallet to help click in

      @@L8R-HP do you have to remove any other hardware to get it to slide out once you have it out of the steering knuckle?

    • @L8R-HP
      @L8R-HP  3 роки тому

      @@richhunter515 no other hardware, just pull on it or pry it with something. There is a snap ring that holds it, sometimes you have to pry it a bit

    Great work mate
    How many kilometres or miles did this car have on it?

    • @L8R-HP
      @L8R-HP  4 роки тому +1

      This car has 110,000 miles, but it looks like the driver axle has been replaced in the passed. I wonder if this is a common problem on these. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@L8R-HP I've got the exact same year and model with possibly the same issue. when I've got it up on my 2 post lift It looks like its moving up n down on the inside of the trans which is bizarre. I think I can also feel a bit of play on the trans side of the axle. Not slipping out of gear, but can hear some slap noise on ruff gravel road that I thought was the ball joint. Any thoughts or experiences on your end about this ? I'm worried more about my trans now.

      @@brentacusmaximus6677 we ended up rebuilding the transmission on this one. These transmissions apparently don’t last long 🤦🏻‍♂️

    The lower ball joint on these is the absolute worst.
