I have been in contact with Fitness Tech regarding my treadmill and the incline. Nothing but professional help, I cannot say enough how much I appreciate it. Still working on the issue but with the help I am 100% getting there! Thank you for your kindness.
Well thank you very much your kind words are much appreciated!!!!! But don’t forget please subscribe Dave
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
Awesome glad you are happy 😃
Thank you so much! I can’t explain how grateful I am for your informational video- watching it felt like a patient teacher walking me through the steps. I was able to fix my treadmill without having to spend a ton of money on support. Thank you!!
Well that’s so nice to say you are so welcome
Thanks so much! You saved my bacon. I took off the lid and the entire incline plug was just disconnected. Reconnected it and…BOOM, incline works no problem now!!!!!
Awesome ! And you are so welcome
Thank you! ...after months of having the same issue, contacting icon fitness, parts replacement, etc.. by following your video I was able to fix my issue. The incline cable connections were not fully making contact, and so by pressing with a slotted screwdriver on each as you did (minute 4:05), was all that was needed.
Perfect I hope everyone reads your post... I hope the parts weren’t to bad they can be crazy. And you are welcome please subscribe Dave
Thanks for the video. From it I was able to figure out that the signal wasn't making it to the control board and traced the problem to a connector going to the display.
Wow that’s a great repair.
Thank you very much from Brazil, I solved the problem with the tilt sensor on my Z1300i. All you had to do was disconnect and reconnect the sensor cable to the board.
Awesome glad to help. You may be my first comment from Brazil Thanks
Thanks for your video. I had Nordictrack c1750 pro that was stuck at max incline. I switched the black and red like you mentioned in one of the videos and I was able to get it back down to level. I noticed the black connector was a little loose so I held some tension on there as it moved after switching them back and it seems to be working both ways now. I’m sure I will eventually need to replace the connector to make it tighter but I’m good to go for now. Thanks again! Subbed!
You are so welcome ! Glad I could help
thx for sharing your knowledge.
My pleasure
you earn a sub
I simply lifted the base up and fixed it fully open. Then i unbolted the base of the large silver 'screw type part' that screws/unscrews the treadmill bases up and down, put it back to its original position, put the bolts back in place, reset the unit and the incline worked fine. Must have just been stuck and needed some freeing up to be able to move. If its not been used in a while, i would suggest trying this.
Good post! That doesn’t work all the time. But if it happens again the silver screw sometimes digs into the stop bracket on the top of the motor. Sometimes you need to file it down and remove any groves on it to bad you didn’t have a video on that Great fix on that. And again thanks for sharing with everyone Dave
Thank You for this video. I been trying to figure out how to fix mine. When I turn on the treadmill it will go up but then it will get stuck when it go down a bit. I will try this to see if I can bring it back down to neutral position.
My pleasure
Really informative video. I have a blowflex series 7 treadmill and my incline stopped working. How can I check to see if it’s the motor itself or the control board ?
I don’t know the blow flex by hart . But in general the incline motor hardly fails send me a pic to Fitnesspartspro@ gmail. Com so I can see if I can help
This is a great video and like the way you explain things. At my home, I have NordicTrack Commercial ZS, the incline is calibrating for two days and it says CALIBRATING INCLINE - INCLINE SENSOR : 0. Nothing happened except giving calibrating noice all the time.
When I switched off and on again, my incline is not working but display changes to incline number I chose. Any tip would be appreciated.
Well thank you! I would try and remove the incline sensor and replace it or clean if it was working you would get some type of on off signal normally dash but you can also get o and 1
my incline was working fine, up and down. then I just had to push my luck and see how high it would go, and it stuck there ever since.
Does that signify any particular thing I should do to fix it ?
Also, do you know where I can get a copy of that schematic ?
In any case, this was a great and interesting video.
I will keep fiddling with it. At least I have a little bit of a clue now.
Thanks
You can unhook incline from frame and try turning by hand! To see if it jammed and leave me your email on Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com I can send you my copy if you want
Great video. I’m having a hard time finding my issue. I have a Nordictrack z1300i it was working great then we moved. Once I got it set back up in the new house the incline won’t work. The belt motor works as normal but if I try to calibrate it or change the incline the motor sounds like it’s trying to work then it clicks. Orange light on incline at ld4 and yellow light at decline at ld4. I’m hoping it’s something simple. Any suggestions?
Hmmm that sounds like the incline went bad or maybe jammed. Try testing your incline by itself see video testing my Nordic Track incline
Clean the base of the incline motor near the opening in the base of the treadmill and a calibration afterwards.
Thanks for the great video. I have a Reebok 8050ES that appeared to be "ghosting" as you mentioned in video. Unfortunately I tried all your suggestions, but incline still not working. When key is inserted onto console, incline automatically raises about .5 and then immediately declines back down. Incline display shows selections but incline does not respond at all. Could it be bad board?
Maybe but I would double check the incline sensor clean it and reinstall it.
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks for such a quick response. Tried it all again. If by clean you mean to pull it off of the board, wipe off and push back into the board,, that didn't seem to work either. As its 15 years old, I' guess I'll be using it without the incline... probably not worth a Sears home service call... Thanks again.
@@RPark-ky8vu well after 15 years they don’t carry parts so I think that’s a good call
I have a Keys treadmill - 1200 Millenium one. The incline, quit working. Is it the circuits / or start / end of travel switches, on the mechanical parts ? Or, maybe the control board, on the top panel , somewhere ?.......may need a complete reset.....dunnknow.....
Well with keys it could be any of these . You can check the limit switch. They are just open close . If your console numbers change then console is probably good. Then you can run the incline by a separate A/C source red is normally up! Black down . I have a video on this Idea on a Nordic Track incline but same idea .But parts will be hard to find
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thank you, too much. The display shows - from 5 to 12 . so must be underneath track . Will search and find it....(electronics tech - 1st time learning treadmills. Very good with gens / mowers/ household appliances, etc. )
If it gets stuck all the way up, and the connections are good, Could it be the motor itself? (it will go up a bit, and donw a bit but thats all)
Ok two different issues if it goes up and not down this can be in the controller only sending up signal and not down. If it only moves a little up then down this is most likely the incline sensor
Where should I start if the signals to incline cause it to decline when pressing both decline or incline during the calibration? Nordictrack issued to me new motor, new control board (after pressing with BBB for warranty support. I'm getting 120V on down signal no matter which direction the touch screen at top is pressed. Thoughts?
Well you have already changed the normal issue unfortunately the console is the only thing left !
What I feared. Thanks so much for prompt reply!
I have a 2950. Calibrates fine but has to be recalibrated every time I turn the machine off. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?
Hmm that’s hard to say the two possibilities I can think of is clean the incline sensor. But when you recalibrate all the time your console may not be holding the info
My incline motor is new and getting a signal but not calibrating it is also stuck in the -3 degree setting. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Well the next thing you will have to check is if the incline is only getting the down signal and not the return up signal, this can either be from the controller and believe it or not sometimes they can even reverse. You will need to reverse the red and blank on the incline motor itself, but be careful the incline motor is 110 ac. See this video link for some trouble shooting ideas . Nordic Track Treadmill Components ua-cam.com/video/pXgLi6NNK9k/v-deo.html Hope this helps, Dave
My incline goes all the way up when booting the machine, and won't go back down. Thanks to your video I was able to replace the incline sensor, but it didn't fix the problem. All the connections seem OK, but it doesn't go down and the calibration fails every time. Would the next step be to replace the incline motor?
Most likely not. ! The next step would be the controller. But first change the red and black wires on the incline itself sometimes it reverses it’s self??? Also check my video on testing your incline you can check it by applying ac voltage direct but be careful
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks so much. Yes, reversing the wires does cause the opposite -- the incline goes all the way down and won't come back up. So the motor seems capable. I will email you about the controller. I really appreciate the help!
@@slovisa Thank you. And we also have them on our website Fitnesspartspro.com also on eBay same name
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I haven't been able to find it on your site. Will you please share the part number or link to the page? Thanks again!
@@slovisa Hmmm email me your full model number please and I will find one for your unit Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com
The incline on mine is not going down and is stuck all the way up. I checked for power from the circuit board to incline motor with a multi meter and no voltage is read. Could I bypass the circuit board and splice the hot and neutral with the power coming in from the cord?
Well in theory but try to reverse the black and red wires on the incline maybe only one way power is being sent. The incline is straight a/c I do have a video on testing your incline with no controller used ...please subscribe
I have a nordictrack treadmill X11i NTL 24016.2. When it Calibrates, the incline goes to max position and the screw comes out of the incline motor housing. The incline motor keeps running. I can stop the trendmill, unplug it, and manually insert the screw back into the open and turn in down back into the gears. It appears to me that the treadmill doesn't know when it reaches max 40% incline. Any advice is welcome. Should I change the incline switch, motor, or control board?
I should add that the screw is a little wobbly when I manual turn it back down. It isn't a tight fit. Perhaps the switch isn't picking up all the turns of the screw?
@@bradwalters3084 Well you got the right idea you will need to replace incline. The switch may not be the only issue! Sometimes the controller only sends the up signal. But if the signal works it should stop. When in calibration does the display on console show some type changes when incline is moving before it pulls out
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks for the reply. No, the display just shows calibration in progress and the incline screws pulls out without any change on the display. The motor continues to run in the same up direction to raise the incline.
@@bradwalters3084 that’s hard to say then I guess you will have to start with incline then . Can You install the screw drive back and then disconnect the white neutral on the incline so you can use it . Or is it too wobbly!
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I have previously manually screwed the screw back down all the way to the end. Then I plugged the treadmill back in to the wall and the calibration started again. Even though it is wobbly when I manually shake it, it is able to raise the incline all the way to its highest position but it just doesn't stop trying to go higher and higher and then the screw comes out.
Do you have an email I can write to?
My nordic track 7.5s slows when I walk on it
Yes Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com
My incline doe's not work. No voltage (120 AC) to it .Motor works up or down with external 120 AC .Main board is good. Where is the 120 coming from , is it from upper console? All functions on upper console work even the incline signal up or down but no incline. Please help.
Well your best chance on this is the controller is not sending the signal ac to motor the console only sends the activate signal the controller sends the direct ac . If you follow the connections from the motor you will find a 3 pin connection on the controller I will add a link for testing. Nordic Track Treadmill Components

Thanks Dave
The main control board was tested and is working fine. This is the NcTL09109 Nordic Track Commercial ZS w/MC2100LTS-50W treadmill.
My Nordic 14.9 current to black red is 0.9 it’s not reading the sensor it moves up down a little and fails to calibrate. The read green led light up everything suggest the sensor as the machine two years old but hardly been used.
Well this sounds like a bad sensor you could try removing the sensor and meter it directly it is a open closed reed switch .then check how well seated the end of it is seated in the controller .If the switch is good and it is well seated in controller and you can see incline light start .Then you may have to change controller
I removed what must be an incline sensor the SMD had blown I took it to a mobile phone repair shop he took one of the same size off a old circuit board and it worked, it had no writing on it so difficult to tell what size it was. SMD “surface mounted device” they’re oblong with with two metal blocks either end Nordic will make you buy the motor.
@@sebastianhugely7035 wow that’s a great deal and good for every one to know !!! Thanks Dave
@@FitnessTechnologyServices In layman’s terms those little blocks are just fuses. A simple continuity test revealed it had blown, it bridges two wires central black and green wire. On my model it’s held in place with two screws and a little black plate. He repaired it for free as like myself he was curious. There’s a three pin receiver on the end of the circuit board is approximately 1/4 wide and an inch long it simply slides out.
@@sebastianhugely7035 Hmmm you got me on that one a 3 pin port that slides out can you send me a picture if you want to keep it private send pic to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com thanks Dave
I have a pacemaster pro elite and it is giving me Error Code 07, how do I bypass the incline motor?
I not sure on pacemaster the best bet would be to unhook the neutral wire. But on some units the belt won’t run if there is any errors
What if the incline motor does not work at all? I tested the same incline motor on another nordictrac treadmill and it works just fine but when I install it on the original one, it does nothing. The console beeps just fine when I incline it but motor does not respond.
Most likely this is a bad controller not sending signal to motor. You could swap the controller to test. Also if you want you can send me your model number to Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com so I can see what parts you have we carry Nordic Track controllers . Don’t forget please subscribe. Dave

Здраствуйте я ваш подписчик мне надо ваш помош, Дома у меня ест биговая дорожка NordicTrack 3700E, нужен запчасти MC-2000E,220volt, Power Supply Board 220volt увас найдётся этот запчаст....
Most Nordic Track are 110 I am not familiar with the 220 version
The console ever quits working or gets corrupted it's time to go to the dump
Well in general you are right! There are no parts for console. It is normally replaced so it depends on cost. All you can do is check all ribbon cables and harness in back of console
