- On his visit to Montréal to play the Greenfield Guitars Shop Concert Series in July of 2012, Andy McKee stopped by the workshop to record a few videos. Here he is playing the a demo model of my model GF. As usual, you are listening to the artist, the guitar and a single mic in the bench room of my workshop. Live, off the floor. There are no pickups being used. The sound is pure. Enjoy!

I can actually see a lonely hunter under the wild moon in a vast wilderness, contemplating. Amazing.
The most impressive thing about Andy McKee is when I imagine him waking up from bed one morning and say :"Oh !! I think I've got an idea for a song"......And then he does that !! Genius monster ! Gotta admit and love it !
Don't you think that it's more like he's shitting on the toilette, reads a magazin and then, he's like: "Oh, I got another One !" ? :D
You can do it to try composing a song a few notes or chords at a time you’ll feel amazing once it’s done
what is it like to go through life with such incredible determination, dedication, focus, integrity? this is not JUST talent folks or gods gift, this is more than ten thousand hours... this is andy mckee... and i will work till the day i die to be like him. incredible human
After the EMPs go off, this is the music that will survive and wander the lands in the form of the dozens of musicians who actually went through the work of developing this level of mastery. Can't roam with a piano. Luckily, you can roam with the perfect instrument; the Acoustic Guitar.

Andy McKee makes me laugh. Not smile. Laugh, actually. I get so mesmerized by his performances, that laughing is my way of saying "I can't believe what he does with those guitars". Not mere technique, but high quality music. This guy a genious. Pure genious.

Man, how does a luthier feels when he hears his guitar played like that ? Amazing guitar, and musician.
I love how the rhythm in this is much more dominant than on the album. I think that this is closer to what Andy was trying to achieve than on the album and his increase in skill over the years has let him speak more eloquently through his instrument.
