I know it's scary to commit to something new after everything else failed. I was in that same position 4 months ago. When I decided, "trying one more time wasn't gonna hurt me," it finally worked! Something changed the narrative and having a coach to keep me accountable was exactly what I needed. I wouldn't be sharing this with you if I didn't believe in the process!
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET, HABITS, AND LIFESTYLE! Only took me 29 years to figure it out hehe ❤️
I believe in you! You and I, BOTH, go this!!! I got you girlie!
    xo,
    Fei

This is what I want people who want to workout to know. Working out is something that makes you feel SO good about yourself and not about your weight or how you look. It sparks positivity on your insides and it radiates on the outside. When you finish a workout you thought you couldn't do, it boosts your self-belief and you become physically and mentally strong. Love this video!

Girl yes after over a year of going to the gym and weight lifting i still way basically the same but I know ive gained alot of muscle from when I began. I still have issues with food in the sense that I binge eat but I know one day I will conquer that hurdle. So proud of you ❤

I really love seeing you go through a positive change mentally and physically! I just want to reiterate to anyone watching that this is 100% possible without paying for a fancy app and having a personal coach. All the aspects of copilot sound super convenient and nice but at the end of the day it begins and starts with you! Don't feel defeated because maybe you can't pay for the same conveniences. Start with what you can and work your way up slowly while allowing yourself grace :) (Still appreciate Fei sharing the resource that worked for her tho

Feiiiiiiii, i've been following you for several years, and happens that... you began your workout routine close to when i did (which was like 4/3 months back) and, girll, feels the same for me. you start to noticing the changes in your body, and notice the differences, and you feel good about yourself. For me i started in a gym, and i have severe myopia, so i started working out without glasses bc i know i would be shy, and would just give up, walk away and go back home (thats how shy i am). And lately my confidence grew, i started woking out with glasses, to see if im doing the right way (im also afraid of injuries). glad to see we got in this journey together and really proud of ussssss GIRL WE DID IIITTTT.
Also started to preping my meals, and sometimes yes i let myself eat a snack, o some chocolate. its not about cutting bad things of, bc sometimes you will crave for it. But its more abou eating more consciously, one piece of chocolat wont make your progress desapear. I also noticed im more hungry, but thats normal bc your body start metabolizing more food so it needs more food to grow. AAAND dont go hard on yourserlf, you did amazing, i am really proud.

I’m also in the “working out at home” club, because I KNOW that I will procrastinate going to the gym, and all the gyms in my area are crowded as fuuuck. I don’t want to wait 30 minutes for a squat rack to become available, I’m in my 30s, I don’t have time to waste, yo! Once again I am soo impressed with your mindset, Fei! “I didn’t stop even though I didn’t see any progress” - like this is SO important, it’s a key to making working out (and managing your calories) part of your lifestyle FOR GOOD. “Once you start living like a fit pesron, you become that person” - as someone wise had said, haha!

I gained a lot of weight recently and my body really changed a lot. I was really skinny before and became a lot bigger where all my clothes don't fit me anymore. The clothes not fitting had the really biggest effect on my body image. But seeing you work your way through the same things motivates me. Thank you.

This is great to see since i’m currently on a diet myself. This is my second or third month. The progress is slow but i think it’s better than an on and off progress. I’ve learned a things or 2 abt myself and stick with it better compare to my previous diet attempts. Since I live with my parents rather than set a specific diet, I usually eat the usual home cook food with half of the amount I usually eat. I grow up with a habit of not having soda and sugery stuff so it’s easy to control. I also don’t force myself to work out and decided to find what i like to do. So i’ve been switching between walking and cycling. Hope this help for those who find it struggling to get started with.

I think a lot of people are misguided in thinking "I have worked out so I DESERVE this junk food." Then that means your goal is to eat more junk food. Instead, your focus should be "I DESERVE a healthy, stronger body so I work out" and "I DESERVE a healthy, stronger body so I eat nutritious food." Junk food should not be anywhere near your goal-setting process

I’ve been working out since January consistently and it’s really changed my life. For me what made me stick was choosing a gym really close to my house so I have no excuse and I also paid enough money to the point that if I’m not using it I feel it, I pay 44 a month which is enough for me to afford but expensive enough to force myself to go. I went from about 4 workouts out a week to now 6 days a week. Also I felt the same about eating more I finally had to chill out with my food intake LMAO but even some days especially when I’m sad. My body has slowly changed and gotten toned. I didn’t lose as fast as when I did fad diets but this is much more sustainable and healthier. I’ve built a lot of muscle so I’m quite happy. Even if the number on my scale barely moves

body recomp it soooo much easier to maintain (but much slower) than a cut, and it allows you to also build muscle while losing fat at the same time. and THAT is why a lot of people will tell you not to look at the scale! if you're too focused on body weight, then you'll feel discouraged because you can't see the change in body composition just thru that number
but i like to weigh myself, i just like getting used to my weight so that i feel less judgement of it. but so if you weight yourself regularly and you stay the same but you FEEL stronger and you're able to do more with your strength training, you're probably in recomp

I have to ask, what do you do when you are super sore? I started working out and I personally prefer lower body but I know upper body is as important. However I am so sore that I want to quit because I don’t like the pain that I have been feeling for the past 3days 💀. I’ve been told to keep working out to reduce the soreness as the muscles get used to it but I still want to quit even though I know I may not be as sore as the first few days of starting to workout

I agree with @prinzessinnnn. When you're really sore, go for a walk or do a very simple, low-impact stretching session, then take an Epsom salt bath with magnesium and relax with tea, that will for sure help! Keep up with the workout routine. I promise - you won't feel so sore after a few workout sessions.

I will say this , “ it is perfectly okay to look at the scale “ . This is usually a thing to see your progress for if you have a goal weight . Depending on the weight you’re going for you will eventually meet your goals . The only thing I’ll stress about the scale is this , eventually you hit a “ no losing weight “ segment and this is when people start to give up because the number is not changing . This is a normal thing that happens to everyone , you just have to keep pushing regardless if that number stays the same for a bit . Just keep being active and do the best you can for yourself .💕☝️💕

You need to eat less carb and sugar. Go on keto style diet. And Then hit the gym and do weights. Youre just building muscle adding on the weight.

Consider maybe not buying as much snacks? Its just gonna make it even harder for you to resist temptation. Not saying dont buy any but maybe buy like one snack each week to reward yourself?

Woot woot! I’m on the same boat as you, only that I just hit my 7th month of working out. I recommend taking progress pictures every month. It’s really rewarding to see the changes, a lot of the time we don’t notice these things because it seems slight. Go US 🤸‍♀️🫶
