I forgot to mention why I found taking 10,000+ steps to be important. Whenever I visited Korea, I lost SO MUCH WEIGHT even though I was eating BOMB FOOD and desserts, NOMMY! I realized I was able to maintain and lose weight because I was taking so many steps per day. Even though I'm only challenging you on steps and cutting back calories, IT CAN DO WONDERS. It has helped me lose weight as I kept up with it on my weight loss journey!

I started working out because I was out of breath walking up the stairs in my house 😂 guys honestly as long as you feel good. Be kind to yourselves. I’ll never have a big butt and my arms will always be kinda flabby probs but I can touch my toes now and I can plank for 60 seconds! Focus on the positives ❤️

I actually started working out a few months ago but I lost motivation 😔 and at that time when I was exercising I lost 20 pounds. So I went from 220 to 200 but then I gained 9 pounds and so I lost motivation again 🙃 but now I'm trying to like get back into the groove of things so

As someone who has been fighting multiple eating disorders and body dysmorphia for nearly 7 years.. I feel obligated to point out that this way of losing weight isn’t sustainable and from what I’ve seen in the video, she seems to be under-eating. I could be wrong, but I’m pointing this out as a diet very often escalates into disordered eating and altered body perception, and she does have young followers. Don’t take diet advice from youtubers, every body is different, but ultimately under-eating WILL fuck up your metabolism in the long run. Remember you don’t exist just to shrink yourself, you have a lot more to offer than your body.
I didn't wanna say anything, but you summed up my thoughts. Counting calories is pointless if the food your eating isn't giving your body what it needs to continue functioning properly through weight loss, and keep it off.
I want more people to be less scared of carbs and fat, carbs and fat are diverse. I know that's easier said than done. But seeing all these fad diets where people just don't eat carbs and cut so much fat out to the point where it is non-existent... It bothers me.
We all need balance. I know everyone's body is different by we all need balance and good nourishment to have a healthy body, no matter your weight.
The focus on calories honestly bothers me so much in dieting. It's not sustainable.

Thank you. I came to the comments to point this out, too. This is basically a starvation diet, Fei, and I really hope you are working with your doctor.
Also, "miracle noodles" are konjac noodles, a pretty well known diet food in Korea, and are easily abused because they make you feel full by absorbing the liquid in your stomach and expanding. Please be careful about how much you are subbing them in.

when i start to lose weight (just a bit) just to burn some fats
i actually have a this kind of diet which is really consider as Starvation Diet
and im literally not happy because i still feel unsatisfied, pressure & lack of energy
and by feeling this it will make you stress, and stress will trigger your body to slow your metabolism which can lead to build more body fat
so i try to find another way & thank goodness to Fitness Blender they really help me to stop doing some this kind of diets because lessen your calories and eating so less like this will just shrink your metabolism speed that will make you have difficulties in losing weight when you get older
a person should not take calories lower than 1,000 & 900 calories is dangerous
because aswhat i have read from an health article 1,200 calories is really what the body need to function Just our Organs without body exercise
how much more if you only intake this amount of calories & exercise?
as what Fitness Blender said "Healthy Food is your Friend not Your Enemy"

I mean you're very right to point out that calorie counting can escalate into a disorder for some people, but she literally held up her application which seems to be giving her around 1,400 calories to eat a day, which for a short girl is totally fine. The type of watches she's using WAY overestimate your burned calories so I seriously doubt she burned 600 that day. And she's doing her exercise consistently and is in shape, for me near my goal weight when I got in really good shape I stopped logging my regular exercise at all, because I'm just not burning that much anymore.
Sure people shouldn't just take advice from youtuber without doing their own research but you shouldn't go around accusing people of starving themselves. You're not with her 24/7? Then you literally can't know, that goes for people irl as well as people online
@@emiliesmolders8192 I wasn't referring solely to caloric intake, but also eating one big meal a day, sometimes splitting that into two meals. That sort of eating *will* trick your body into thinking it's starving so that it stores fat instead of burning it. Granted, snacking is probably helping to offset a little bit, but you're also less driven to snack if you're not depriving yourself of food all day.

right when lockdown started i was sooo healthy, eating clean, working out crazy you name it, i also managed to snatch myself some abs (ty chloe ting). but i had one cheat day and it spiralled down from there. it's been 2 months and i've lost all motivation to lose weight, i don't like exercising anymore and i'm always tired. the main thing i wanted to say is to not start out too ambitious, you will grow out of interest and it'll be hard to get back to the place you once were in, especially if being healthy is a long time goal for you. hope it helps

I was working out every day and eating healthy but then my grandpa had a mini stroke and both my rabbits died and I hit bottom (not quite rock bottom). I couldn't find the motivation to start up again but after a bc refill appointment (they weight you every time) and realizing that I gained weight I realized that I'm unhappy with my downward spiral. Soooo back to eating healthy and working out. P.S. Chloe Ting is a Goddess and I swear by her workouts

I've been overweight/heavily obese all my life.. never once was I in a healthy weight for my own height and age. And I've been wanting to change that for as long as I can remember... Around 11-14 years old my pharmacist mum would put me on diet shakes whenever she started one, but it never really stuck around long enough for us to see any losses... The only succesful weightloss I had was from walking 1hr - 1.5 hrs at least 4-5 days a week, while eating only one meal a day and snacks either side. I started at 100kg then, and went down to about 85kg, when I was 15-16 years old. Though I was still considered obese I was pretty frickin proud, I didn't even realise I had lost that much in just 4-6 months.
Now I'm back to my heaviest... 105kg.. at 22 years old. I'm scared I'm missing out on so much activities healthier, more lighter people can partake in.. I want to be able to wear whatever I want, and by that I mean a simple black jeans and tucked in oversized shirt, or a dress I've been keeping for so long but never wore except in the fitting room during my lowest weight - without looking like a swollen and overstuffed sausage inside my own skin.
After watching this video 2 nights ago.. Yesterday I decided to start again.. this time I'm counting my calories aiming for 1200 a day.. and not starving myself unlike last time.... I downloaded an app to help me keep track of what i eat and my activities, I'm also using this pedometer function on my phone to count my steps, for now I've set it to 5000 steps a day... I will increase it when i feel more comfortable in about a 2-3 days.
I want to be able to take good pictures with my friends for when we get out of lockdown and start travelling again.. I don't want my youth to be wasted like this.... my target is 75kg for now. It's still overweight for a 5'1 girl like myself.... but in my opinion it's heaps better than staying the way I am now. Heaps better..

Thank you Fei for sharing part of your journey with us. The things you have to do to lose weight is not pretty, and i hate how graceful some celebrities, influencers or ads make it seem like. But this video makes it look more real. I hope you stay well in mind and body, take care.

Hi guys~ so it's been a month and a half since I started, and I'm happy to say I've lost 3kgs!
Though there are setbacks every week, I have been trying not to let it stick to me and stop all my progress altogether.. I try ro remind myself that me giving up trying to loose this weight would be the official end to the journey, instead of being hard on myself for the fact that I went a 50 over my calorie limit for the day. I've lost 9 kgs so far~ but I'm doing fasting, the first 5 kg were easy to lose, but now I'm loosing slowly, and I've stopped with the fasting, didn't make much changes in my diet, only cut my portions since I don't get that hungry anymore~ also, I don't eat snacks anymore, if I get hungry when I shouldn't be eating, I drink water and two dates, or a bunch of cranberries since I like them~

I did weight watchers with my mom for almost a year in 2016 and I lost 35 pounds and my mom lost 55 pounds ! Annnd then got cocky, stopped going, and gained it all right back 🤦🏻♀️ as long as you stay consistent you’ll be golden!

Although I do suspect that she wants to lose the weight for appearance, I also think it is a positive change for just her wellbeing. We forget that nutrition and exercise is good for us mentally. Taking care of yourself is good for you, and makes you feel more in control of your wellbeing.

Hunnybooboo13 _ my tip would be to allow your food to taste good. those extra calories you use to make your food taste better will be worth it in the long run as you will be less likely to get temptations to binge. i notice people who go on diets will start to eat extremely clean. f.e. grilled chicken, broccoli, brown rice. don’t be shy to throw some yummy glaze on that chicken or some cheese or sauce on that broccoli (yk?) hope that makes sense :) also make sure to stay in a calorie deficit (ofc)

I've been wanting to go on a weight loss journey for so long, and it always happened on and off. For a month or two, I'd be healthy, then I'd get lazy and gain back what I'd worked for. I used to be the same weight as now but with less fat and more muscle and I would really like to get back to that point and further. I've been looking for some motivation and those cheezy quotes on Pinterest weren't cutting it no matter how hard I tried. You really inspired me with your bright energy and personality and you are one of the UA-camrs that I *actually* consistently follow. You pushed me to actually start (tomorrow, of course, its 2am currently lol). I love you Fei!

Motivation is always so hard to keep up. Sometimes we feel extremely motivated and other days we’re just over it. I don't know why but I find you as one of the most amazing uplifting and happy people, it makes me feel good every day😭❤. I just had my dad passed away in the past July 7th right after he got married at the end of June 20th and it was hard for me because my birthday is round the corner this august 11 and I normally spend it with him. everytime I watch your videos I feel like I'm not alone , I have a friend I can rely on and that's uplifting and knows that every day will get better. I usually listen to ateez's or bts's intense songs like ateez's say my name or bts not today or sugas daechwita. Whenever the song gets intense or the beat drops or if there's rapping I try to run during that time and whenever the song slows down a bit I slow down a bit as well

Literally today I woke up feeling so disgusted, I gained so much weight while pregnant after working so hard and losing 40 pounds before I got pregnant and now I weight even more than when I started over a year ago. Today was the day I took the decision to get back on track and think first of myself so that I can be a good role model for my baby that’s turning one in a month! This quarantine did not help at all lol
oh my fei this gives me some hope, recenty I am felling depressed when i am thinking about my weight and how i look, seeing you being so positive and full of energy is so motivaiting, hope that this feeling stay with me for some time

I’m the same age as you. I think the best thing to do is to start with something small, like jogging. I know it’s hard, but I swear it gets easier after two months of doing it each day. You’ll find that you’re less hungry when you do it too, so you’ll end up eating less. If you really feel hungry after meals, try drinking some milk.

I can relate so much feii, it took me 6 months to lose weight then quarantine hit and i gain half of it back i felt so disgusting and disappointed but now i'm trying to get back into shape. It's amazing to see Fei happy with her health journey and that what she's doing may be healthy for herself! But also remember that everyone requires different amounts of meals and kinds of food to stay healthy so make sure you do whats healthy for yourself too as for me it would not be healthy to have just 2 meals and snack inbetween whereas it may suit fei :)
I'm currently on my own journey to get healthier as I've switched from the contraceptive injection which was making it loads harder to lose weight and I think has also affected my joints which has affected my ability to work out as much. Hoping now that I've switched contraceptives that I can get back to trying to be healthier and more balanced and love seeing other peoples journeys and taking some inspiration from them.

This is so encouraging and now i feel exited to loose weight. It was so hard to find changes I could make in my lifestyle to loose weight, but now that I have my favorite UA-camr doing it with me, I know I'll be able to make progress. Thank you Fei 😊❤
I’ve started my life changing style at the beginning of august and I have lost a totally of 10lbs so far. My work is a physical job and I do it for 10hrs a day. Ugh I sO needed this video! Quarantine has been so hard on me and I completely stopped working out. I’m starting at around 180 and I’m so excited to start running and just taking care of myself again :)

Good for you girl. It's a hard journey and I'm still struggling. But I hope I can get back on track and thanks for inspiring me to take little steps back in the right direction. I’ve gained SO much weight during quarantine and always feel like I’m stressing about my weight and “on a diet.” While I’ve been exercising everyday, I haven’t had the motivation to be strict with my diet and push myself (we all know diet is more effective than just exercise). This content is too relatable. It's like you read my diary... When quarantine started (March) I started my weight loss journey and I lost 12 lbs (150 lbs down to 138) in aboutttttt 2 months. But then I stopped being strict and following the diet/exercise plan I set out for myself and I gained it all back 😑 Honestly, I feel really disappointed and ashamed in myself for giving into my food cravings even though I know that feeling of being super in shape and eating clean. This couldn't have come at a better time to remind me to keep trying. Thanks Feiiiii, we can do this!!

im constantly suffering from BDD and it just hurts to hear people comment about my weight over and over again no matter whether it is weight gain or weight loss.
I had lost about 23 lbs back in 2017 too, but gained it all back and even more in the past 2 years as i just got super busy with high school and university.

Thank you for making this video, it reminded me of my workout routine that I used to do three times a week. Which was actually working for me. Also hearing about how you relapsed and then started your routine again really gave me motivation to keep going at it and to always take care of our bodies.

Until now, I didn't really have any motivation to get back into a routine, and I kind of just accepted that I'm gaining all the weight back, excited that I could just indulge myself in foods. I relate to this so hard, I had started my weight loss journey like 4 or 5 ish months ago and my starting weight was 262 and I changed my diet and I mainly did exercise videos. I was counting my calories and using apps to help me keep track and every time I started to plateau in my exercising I upped the difficulty in my workout. I was feel I was feeling so good and I was proud. And I havent weighed myself at all and I went to my doctor that o hadn't seen in a while and when I got on that scale the doctor said I lost 30 lbs and I was just crying my ASS OFF! CAUSE I WAS LIKE I REALLY DID IT! but ever since quarantine hit I went back to my old ways and got depressed cause I lost my job due to covid and I had lost 4 family members due to this virus so the combination of it all really just brought me down and I gained it all back now. Fei you posted this at the best time because I need the motivation to get back on my journey. ❤
