Cassie, Im a RN who had cancer a few years ago, Im alone and was scared to death....... I cannot tell you how many patients Ive taken care of with cancer but we never know what happened to most of them. I pray in thanks to God as I, like others, prayed like crazy for you and I cry in thanks to the Lord for your good news !!! What med do you take for tsh because I read a lot tod@y about synthetic and it wasn’t good. My labs aren’t up to par for my Dr either I’m ready to pay out of pocket to find a functional blood test with a functional Dr but I’m retired and living on SS ! My B12 is off the charts and my D son I’ve been told all this plays intonthyroid.

Here's my story:
90 days into my carnivore journey (last July) I had a blood panel taken at the VA hospital. Keep in mind that I had confirmed at the appointment that I had lost 50 pounds in those 90 days. I had weighed in at a terrifying 306 lbs on March 31st and spent an entire month eating SAD and bad and a lot of it so my weight might very well have been even higher than 306, I just never verified my Day 1 weight with a scale so I'm going with my March 31st weight (kinda kicking myself about this, I won't lie). I had no blood panel to compare my 90 day to, but I'm certain everything had to be an improvement on how it was before I started. At any rate, In July my cholesterol was 117, Triglycerides were 108, HDL 33, LDL 116 and A1C 5.5. Hilariously, the doctor came down and began urgently insisting that I start taking a statin. She wanted me to take one immediately as I was now a supreme candidate risk for a stroke or a heart attack. I said, "Why is that? I already told your intern doctor that I refused to take the COVID 19 vaccine last year, didn't I?" I had no rimshot to go with my punchline, so I guess my joke fell flat. I had watched a video the night before about how doctors freak out when they hear you've gone carnivore by Dr. Westman and I started chuckling every time my doctor began speaking. She was saying everything Dr. Westman's video said she would, almost verbatim. She began to get offended at my demeanor because she was a 4th year medical student, and I was just a lowly 50-year-old veteran. How could I possibly know what is good for me at my education level? Suprise Doc! It's 12 days until my carniversary and I'm still alive and down 100 pounds now. I feel so much healthier than I did a year ago, why in the hell would I want to change anything, especially taking something as terminally unhealthy as a statin?
So, it's 12 days until my carniversary on May 5th, what has changed for me? First and foremost, I have lost around 100 pounds. That is no small feat in itself. It's been over 24 years since I have weighed 200 lbs. I thought I would never be able to see my toes or my penis ever again. Yes, that miraculously has returned from the dead, if you get my drift, along with morning wood like a teenager! I lost my grotesque protruded abdomen from what was an obvious fatty liver. I went from a size 44 waist to a 34. I threw almost all of my clothes away. The painful stiffness and inflammation I was suffering with for the last few years is completely gone now. I occasionally have this overuse pain in my left foot that I have been suffering with for the last 3 years but instead of having it for two days or more, it's only for a few minutes. I have almost limitless energy now, it's amazing. I don't use my CPAP anymore. I occasionally snore, but not like I used to.

I take my thyroid pill in the middle of the night when I get up to go to the bathroom. I just leave it on the bedside table. Keeps me from having to wait to eat in the morning. 😊 So happy you followed your intuition and you are all good! ❤

I'm a laboratory technician and the ranges are usually determined according to the area's population average. So if everyone in the area is eating SAD (I'm willing to bet they are) then the "normal" is what's normal for that area. Deviation isn't huge from area to area though; a couple numbers higher or lower. Also keep in mind- as far as testing goes, collection methods and specimen handling are very important for testing accuracy. Test methods at that level are highly sensitive, so if there's anything off about the specimen being tested (wrong temperature, wrong age of specimen, wrong collection method, wrong collection container, preparation, patient didn't fast and were supposed to etc), the results can be wonky. We lab people (including phlebotomists) are usually the ones that catch these errors, but human error is bound to happen 😊

When it comes to getting patients off thyroid medication, there are a couple of rules I make them follow. 1. They must eat breakfast, 2. three meals for the day, with a 5 hour window between each, 3. We test every 4-8 weeks and 4. personalised food for their health.
That is a miracle! God is the Great Physician. He regulated your numbers and healed whatever was wacky in your body in that funky high number. Oh , what wonderful news! Praise the Lord!!! So happy for you! I watched Larry last night and was so sad for him, poor guy is lost without you! ❤️ The power of prayer in numbers is mighty!

Omg, you just made a tear come to my eye! I love my sweetheart just as much as you do Yours! And I don't ever want to think about being without her! You brought joy to my soul. When she told you everything was good! I felt that big lump in my throat and tears started to form in my eyes! So happy for you! My friend just started to win the carnivore diet about a month ago, he has not taken any more insulin since then and his numbers for the first time waking up in the morning have been below 100 in years. My wife and I are currently doing keto and being very strict with it. The only thing I don't like was some of the keto stuff. Sometimes people do too much processed for food foods. And I don't like that. Thanks for a great video and be blessed guys. I will keep watching!
