Hello Curly Proverbs! I was wondering if you were willing to do a Q&A video soon. If you are, I have a few questions I was thinking about.
    1. I know you use certain bases for your masks, such as water, aloe vera juice, coconut milk, etc. How do you feel about green tea or black tea as a base?
    2. Do you use lighter oils like apricot seed oil, argan oil, or hempseed oil? Are these good replacements for oils you use in your routine? My low porosity hair does not respond well to castor oil or coconut oil.

Very helpful as always, I look forward to your videos every week. Question: When you say: 'deep conditioned over night' , do you just put a shower cap and go to bed with it on, or a heatless cap? Can I just do a 1 hour under a hooded drier in medium heat instead, and as low porosity is it safe to use it weekly? I've been using chebe for 3 weeks now in my deep conditioners plus the rice water and it seems like the hair absorbs it better when I use heat and it rinses out better too, the first time without heat it was just sitting on top, the aloe vera makes a difference, honey is great tip thanks. Second Question: I pre prepped a henna, amla, shikakai and aloe powder mask for my next wash and stored it in the freezer, does it go well with the chebe deep conditioning blend if I leave it over night? I dont suppose I can use heat with henna? Xo

Also another question since I really do not have access to my strands like I normally do is the Ayurvedic method isn't going to be that helpful to my strands ?

I made a Neem mixture. The smell was very overpoweringly earthy. I bought some peppermint oil. It worked to counteract the smell into a pleasant odor and the mixture actually made my hair SOFTER. Yesterday was my glorious ME/HAIR DAY. I pre pooed, hennaed, I use the Trader Joes Tea Tingle (clean)Conditioner (not a leave in, but works for me), oil and cornrowed. I decided to cornrow overnight, because it stretches my hair out. Today I am going to two twist. I trimmed my hair two weeks ago and I swear I have new growth already. 😎😎😎😎😎😎.
The coming week I will be getting my fenugreek seeds and I will have all the ingredients for the fenugreek oil and the spritz. I look forward to trying the Chebe recipes later in my hair journey. Curly thanks for all the work you do for all of us Natural Curlys Girlz. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hey Farida you’re pretty much my go-to when it comes to all things Ayurvedic. What would you say is the difference between Chebe and Henna? Should you use both? I ordered Chebe from Miss Sahel and ordered the Henna you recommended in your description box from Amazon. I’m just worried about using them wrong and having TOOO much strength in my hair therefore making it too brittle. I am pregnant right now and I plan to nurse so I know there are also some things I should avoid (like fenugreek and neem right?) so right now I’m just thinking about using henna teas and rinses, maybe glosses for wash and gos on weekends and making a butter with Chebe and using it for my protective styles during the week.
Sorry this is such a looong comment. Thank you so much for your content.

Started watching all the way from Philly since the holidays when I was off. I wish I discovered years ago of 2012. You are really fantastic and show tremendous dedication to your hair and teaching us listeners and views to do the same to help your hair to grow and showing what it takes to do so. Can you do video about allergies of plants and chemicals? My self is allergic to latex in which if you are aware and others followers that Aloe Vera has Latex under the gel! Yes the yellow you see when removing the gel from the leaf you will see that yellow juice in which you do not want in th gel when removing it from the leaf. Research this information online and it is all there. Latex allergy itching of the skin in which my scalp itch when I made the leave in detangler of Aloe Vera Gel straight from the leaf in which was organic from an organic food store. Also Marshmallow root can cause itching to some people in is me of my sensitivity to certain plants and nuts. Marshmallow root of the macilige is very high and did not agree with me of the scalp. The Slippery Elm is fine and next time I just use that herb in boiling it in water, straining out the slimy part and then use Olive Oil and essential rosemary Oil in which aids in hair growth and keep your hair from graying. My hair is coarse and is still shoulder length in which I am trying to grow it longer. I did have longer hair all my life until 2004 when it got damage from a hair perm!! I am perm free now since 2012.I have to keep my ingredients simple of just 1,2,3 or 4 . I cannot use even the conditioners and other products you mention and recommend to try because they have the mixture of natural ingredients with preservatives. I am into herbs for teas and natural healing and keeping organic and chemical free. Sometimes even natural from plants you have allergies some people can tolerate with no reaction and some cannot. We all find out eventually what you can use in food, hair skin and cleaning and to stay away from chemicals that do harm to the body.

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. I use the chebe recipe as a normal conditioner and wash it out after a few minutes?
