I never commented on your videos. but let me tell you, I followed your recipes down; your hair oil, hair mist, and henna packs from your old videos from years ago. and, they worked! my hair was shoulder length while curly to tailbone length while straightened within a year. I stopped using these recipes after I got my desired length. now I'm ready to find my full growth potential. I love you!

😁Yes, I just did a beast mode mix, amla, henna, hibiscus, Brahmi, Shikikai, indigo, melted Shea butter and coconut oil, then mixed Aloe Vera juice to loosen. My hair is getting so thick in places where it was thin. The definition is deep and I love it. Thank you Queen

Lynn Wright where did you get the ingredients ?

    • @MsLynnG1
      @MsLynnG1 7 років тому +1

Tonia , Hi Yes the indigo will darken your hair, but when mix with henna, depending on how much you mix in. You can do strain test with the hair in your brush. Try and balance what color your trying to achieve.

Sam Matipa, I used that mask every couple of months. I going to using that mask once a month. So many different combinations you can use just do your research first.

I just discovered your channel and there's a wealth of information-I'm very appreciative!-but even with these latest videos it feels like a lot of digging is required to connect the dots. I would love to see more straightforward regimen suggestion videos, i.e. "Use growth oil 2x a week for scalp massage; use henna gloss weekly; use henna mask monthly", etc as a starting point to build my own ayurvedic regimen. Either way I'm enjoying diving into your backlog of videos but this way I wouldn't feel like I have to take notes as I watch!

Thank you so much girl for sharing your recipes. To be honest my whole natural hair journey changed about 7/6 months ago when I first started to see your video. I made my Ayurvedic oil by using amla, henna, brahmi, neem. and also I use those powder when I deep condition my hair. And also m using the Shea butter with ayurvedic herbs that I have been making (i use to seal my ends and pre poo overnight) my hair have improved to the point I can't explain, no more shadding also my hair is retaining moisture and it's getting Fuller I can do twist out and flexrods and all the styles without worrying before I couldn't because my hair was too frizzy and also you could see my scalp. Thank you so much because of you M now so confidant than ever. right now I'm trying to retain length because my hair is healthy enough and I colored it about a year ago but m planning not to add any color anymore m just forcing on growing it out. But I have question for you do you pre poo your hair overnight? I was thinking I should stop because my hair is holding moisture well but what do u think? thank you so much. God bless you and your family.

Wow that is sooooo amazing I am truly inspired and so happy for you, I know your hair must be flawless! I seen so many comments like yours and it gives me hope. I have been researching her videos for days and days and have most of everything in my cart to buy on amazon etc but I just have a few simple questions that hopefully you can answer or her or anyone lol. Okay so I want to start the hair gloss first. Im pretty sure i have build up in my hair and I remember her saying you should clear your hair first. I was wondering what shampoo would i use to do that? And would i shampoo with that then use the gloss and then go in with a deep conditioner? If I used a hair mask weekly does it mean I can use the hair oil throughout the week or does it have to be one or the other? Also would i use that hair cleansing shampoo every time i wash my hair to make sure theres no build up? Its so confusing please help! lol. I just need to figure out a hair regime even if you can give me any tips on a regime to start with that would mean the world! hopefully you or someone sees this and can get back to me!

As far as shampoos, I make my own from African black soap and add herbs, oils etc..use a sulfate free shampoo, yes, poo, gloss or mask, conditioner. Yes, still use oil throughout week, don't forget to massage 💆🏽 it in..u don't need a lot, it spreads great. Acv rinse is good clarifier for hair that doesnt strip or rob your hair of oils, but make sure it's organic acv. I use braggs brand. Plus it's gentler than some clarifying poos. Some of those poos are a little too clarifying.😧..but whatever regimen u chose, LISTEN TO YOUR HAIR👌🏾.?!! It knooooows what it likes..go in easy and don't add a lot of products are you'll not know what did or didnt work for your hair.i hope this helps you, ooooohh..and u MUST add moisture throughout week. Our hair loves/needs it..I use a aloe vera spritz in between or along with her teas. Remember..it takes time and patience but you'll get there. You'll learn what's right for your coils. Hope this helps you ❤️

Yoyo7424 M oh my gosh you are the best thank you so so so much for answering! I finally know everything to get and what to do now. You are a life saver!!! Im going to start with doing her hair masks and using her oils and using the aloe vera spritz. All i have to do now is basically find the best brand of essential oils and aloe vera etc and when Im ready I will first wash my hair with then ACV Rinse like you said. THANK YOUUU!!!!! ❤️❤️ xoxoxo

Truly my pleasure doll! And right back at cha❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘Xoxoxo... I like "now"oils..they're cold pressed, but shop around, remember cheaper doesn't always = quality! But you could find other oils out there that are good..not sure where you're from, but if u could grab an aloe 🌱 or thick aloe leaf 🍃, u could extract yourself..that's how I get my aloe in warmer months..I buy A LOT, and freeze unused portions for later use! It's nothing to it..game changer for my hair..

sidebar from someone with light brown hair about Cassia and Henna - I have used Henna which made my hair Orange/ginger - its fine, I like it but just so you know it causes major colour changes to lighter hair. I also used cassia and it made my hair lighter again - more of a moussey brown/blonde. I also recommend you put moisture into your hair before you use henna or cassia because it will dry your hair out

Girlie, I did my big chop last week... I've never felt so confident. I have three inches of what I feel to be 4A/B low-medium porosity hair and I have already made your hair oil and have been running around looking for Fenugreek today. I know you're a fellow British person. I live in Southwark and made the journey to Greenwich to go to the market for some natural products! I feel like the struggle is real for us to get good products if they aren't in Holland and Barrett's. But all I came to say it thanks for being around and inspiring me. All my mother natural hair gurus are in America so I really appreciate all you do. Also, I was wondering where you found a lot of your powders (such as your ayruvedic ones). I'm a teenager from London and I hope you have a good night :)

Thank you much for your informative and educational videos I look forward to learning more from you in regards to ayurvedic hair care. I'm a huge huge admirer of the hair care practice. I have been using ayurvedic hair care for almost a year and the growth that I have obtained could be summed up as mini beast mode. Did a Indian power wash last night for my mother and I, I used amla powder, neem leaf powder and rhassoul clay using warmed aloe vera juice with flaxseed oil, rice bran oil, neem oil, peppermint essential oil and marshmallow root powder for slip. allowed the wash to stay in for an hour and a half along with prepoo that was already in my hair. My experience was amazing my hair felt amazing. conditioned with hibiscus powder along with conditioner sesame oil, peppermint essential oil, lavender essential oil with a heat cap for 30m rinsed and applied a leave in. it can be a bit of a process but I love seeing my hair flourish from all the loving up I have done over the year. I'm vested in this practice and as long as it continues to be a positive impact on my coils I will continue. I am going into my 3rd year as a natural and started researching ayurvedic to help with an itchy dry scalp. if you are able to offer any advice or suggestions that would help to further alleviate this condition would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again

I think I will be doing the henna treatment once every month. I am a beginner and I did my first one today and I thought it was amazing. My hair was strong and soft but followed up with a moisturizing deep conditioner. I have used other Ayurvedic herbs before but not henna. I always avoided it. This is my best experience so far. I can’t wait to try your Ayurvedic clay recipes which I will be doing once every month as well.

Hello Curly Proverbz. Thank you for all your videos, they are greatly appreciated. Is it possible for you to do a video to how you use these masks/conditioners in conjunction with the oils and tea spray. Should we allow a few days between the tea and the mask/conditioner? I do not want to overpower my hair. Also, Aloe Vera powder is not available to me locally, so, can the A.V powder be substituted with another form of A.V (juice or gel)?

Hi. I just found you and immediately subscribed. I love you, your content, everything. I must say, however, I am so confused. I really want to try this but could you share what your wash day routine looks like? There is so much information...growth oil, glosses, tea, mask. I think it would be good to see how this all comes together in a weekly/daily routine.

Judith, I second that! There is a recent ayruvedic regime video but a break down/step by step performed by curlyproverbz would be great. There is so much information to digest - seeing it visually would be very helpful.

I've been natural for 4yrs but my hair is stuck at 7inches. I also have a major problem where styling is concerned. I would really appreciate any tips and advice you can give me. Thanks

    Hi Curly proverbz
Can I ask, would you be able to do a new video for the hair gloss? I know you have done one previously but it is hard to see, as the lighting is quite dark and the text is hard for me to see. I'm dyslexic so I struggle sometimes with the contrasts between light/dark font size/colour etc. Hope this doesn't sound bossy or entitled, that's not my aim at all. I would greatly appreciate it if you did an updated video, but I understand that this may not be possible due to your busy schedule, commitments etc. Thank you anyways, I really appreciate all the information you are giving us xxxxx

I start tonight and there's sooooo much info and I'm a beginner and I've been binge watching and rewatching but I still don't get the difference between the hair mask and hair gloss. I know you said to use the mm in rotation but do we wash both the mask and gloss out after? Thank you for imparting so much knowledge on us!!!

Hey there Curly Proverbz!! I pretty much got almost everything you mentioned on your videos! And I finally got done henna. Don't know if it's the good stuff you have but I made the "Fenugreek" tea spray. And the hair oil and the mask.. And let me tell you!!! I noticed a big difference with the first time doing it!! I'm so glad I found you girly!!! I was like you an can grow my hair only to neck length! I hope this works! I even made my own homemade rose water. But I had one more question.. how often should I use a hair mask with " Henna Shakikai and Amla? Once a week? Or once every 2 weeks?

How long did it take for you to grow out your hair that long? My hair was that long but an unfortunate visit to a salon a few years ago led to a 'trim' that left my hair at shoulder length. It hasn't gone very past that and I 'restarted' my journey about two years ago. Also I love your videos and your personality is so upbeat! Very inspiring.

    hi!
found your channel yesterday and I love watching your videos. Very informative and in-depth descriptions. I would like to know what kind of shampoo do you use to wash off these masks?
I have straight hair, dry ends but oily scalp. So most of the shampoos either leave my scalp too dry and hence flaky or oily even post shampoo..
    thanks!

Thank You for what you do ! Have you ever thought of making and selling your own products ? I am using tea . Which one do you like and use the most henna or cassia ? Can you get the full results using the hair tea instead of using the hair oil and if so how fast will I see results ? How long to use it before throwing it out ? An where is the best place to keep it ?
