Ever since I discovered CHEBE powder, I have never gone back at all. Chebe is now a staple for me. It has helped me greatly!! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing recipe.
I blend mine with some nilotica shea, bacuri and cupuacu butter, chebe, henna, coconut, palm kernel, mafura butter, JBCO, and apply it to my hair, I leave it in and apply it every 2 days. It has helped me to retain length. My hair is relaxed but I treat and condition it as if it were natural. It is now bsl.
Love your Ayurvedic goodies!!! It’s a staple!!!! Yes to the ready made chebe mask! :) thanks so much for all you do for us!!!! Also if you use very little chebe in a mixture could it still clog your hair follicles? Thank you so much!!!
The chebbe powder is AWESOME! I made a mask with your chebbe powder and added fenugreek powder, hibiscus powder, a little sukesh ayurveda and some amla oil and water. I loved the smell. Its difficult to apply root to tip without getting some of the mask on your scalp. I left it in my hair for 2 hours. I would love if you can post a video of you applying this to someones hair to get a better idea. It is hard to rinse out too. I still had a few bits in my hair but WOW, my hair was super soft and defined. How often should we do this mask?
Yes by all means! I make my own masks but I recently purchased ready made masks from HennaSooq. I’m looking forward to applying those I don’t have to make.
You're in my hometown. They sell chebe shea butter as a butter to apply for twists and twist outs on natural hair. Never knew it could double as a mask.
I was so excited about this mask. I had had my Henna Sooq Chebe powder for months but didn’t know how I was going to use it. Well I knew after 5 minutes this was NOT for me. I used mango butter instead of Shea and applied to my hair after washing it. It hardened almost immediately on my strands. I didn’t know if this was normal or not so I let it sit for about 20 minutes and then I Started to cowash it out. The butter was sticking to my stands and not rinsing out. It was thick and weighed my hair down. It took four washes with a shampoo with Apple cider vinegar to get the butter out.
Let us know how it turns out. It can be stained too. Maybe I can show how it can be infused and then strained in another video. Chebe in generally is usually washed out though.
Hey girl I use it with leave in conditioner with my oils that I want to use sometimes I leave it in for a couple of hours but this time I'm leaving in for three days
Hello Khadija. Please tell me what herbs can be used together to mix with a deep conditioner. For example, which of these herbs can be combined at the same time; brahmi, amla, moringa, fenugreek, hibiscus, ashwaganda? I don't want to overdue it. I am trying to figure out which herbs pair well together in a deep conditioner. Thank you.
Hi can you please tell me can I freeze this after I make this and give to my friend tell her defrost when she is ready to use by letting sit out? Thanks.
Hello, I watched a video on the Chadian women using Chebe. In the video, they said that chebe is traditionally left in the hair, and the treatment is re-applied every 3-5 days. They said that the chebe is never washed from the hair. That is why they have such great length retention. Also they have been doing the treatment since childhood.
hey if you can please respond It will mean the world. I'm 17 and I used to have really long and thick hair. It used to have some bounce to it and it was effortlessly healthy. for the past 2 years its been falling and I've lost more than half my hair. ive seen couple of bald spots in the front of my scalp and my hair has extremely thinned out. I cut it to get it to look healthy but now it won't even grow. I stumbled upon your channel the other day and it felt like I regained some hope. I really want to buy you products and see which will help possibly regrow my hair. if you can please answer, which items would you recommend for me to get?
Hi, if anyone has not responded, I had similar hair issues and I went to the website and started from there for henna beginners. Ordered a few products at a time because I did a skin test to make sure I wasn't allergic to Ayurvedic Natural Herbs. Some people may be allergic and it can be dangerous. So whatever you order do a skin test for a couple of hours to make sure it does not affect you. Wish you all the best 👍😏
I wish I could see your hair. Once my was dried out bc I used henna too much . The only thing that helped me correct that was olive oil. Sometimes instead of using more and different products .. go back to basics. Baby cowash. .. and low manipulation. Do research on each product you were using .. you may find someone else who had issues with one of your products. I would go back to basics .. no cutting , massaging, oiling and deep conditioning with mayo honey and avocado.. I pray the solution reveals itself.
I think you really need to watch the video on how the Chadian women use Chebe. It will clear up any confusion you may have about using Chebe.@@MindingMyOwn6953
Not a fan of chebe. This mask looks nice but would need to shampoo afterwards because of all the oil probably. I tried using it the Chad women way and that was too ridiculous for long term. Don’t leave it mixed with water and stored for long either- got moldy after 2 weeks when I did that
Why would you add essential oil to a recipe that does not go on the scalp? Isn’t that a waste? Essential oils are usually meant for the scalp? Yes or No? Please explain. Wouldn’t it be better for 3 or 4 hair types to make and oil, strain it add Shea butter then use it? No grains no flakes falling out the hair!
Essential oils are beneficial for hair strands as well and also make this recipe smell really nice. Chebe isn’t supposed to be strained. It’s meant to be on the hair and this is part of the traditional way to use it.

How do you use it?
Yes! Ready to use chebe masks for sure 🙌🏾

You used a lot of ingredients with the Chebepowder how can you tell if the Chebe works alone ?
Use some butter or oil to coat your scalp pre-chebe.
I would definitely buy the premixed Cheney mask
I am for the ready made Chebe mask
Yes by all means! I make my own masks but I recently purchased ready made masks from HennaSooq. I’m looking forward to applying those I don’t have to make.
Always a pleasure seeing your videos. Is it possible to order when based in the UK? Do you send internationally? Thank you 😊
I would love to try it. I heard so much about chebe powder benefits. Plus the recipe is not linked. I would love to have it

I got to try this but with mango butter, since I’m allergic to Shea butter. Not a fan of grainy mask, but I’ll try it at least once. 👍

Thanks for the vide. definitely yes to a ready made mask!

Yes to chebe mask
Yassss!!

Do you have a recipe for a cream to stay on a weekly protective style

Will it change the color of grey hair???
Ready to use would be great!!
Hi can you please tell me can I freeze this after I make this and give to my friend tell her defrost when she is ready to use by letting sit out? Thanks.
Yes and chebe oil
Do you wash with shampoo after application
Can I infused chebe in oil, and them strain it, and used it on the scalp?
Instead of the Shea butter can I use my deep conditioner?

how did you soften the shea butter?
I warmed it on low heat in a small crock pot
Is there a way to stop/remove the grains from getting stuck in your hair, especially kinks or coils?
You could strain it before using but the Chebe is supposed to be like this in general
It will help with if inhave hair color?

Ms. HennaSooq, wouldn't it be easier to make a chebe infused oil and then add that oil to the shea butter to avoid residue in your hair? Just thought.
Possibly yes, that is a great idea too. There are many different ways you can use it.
Is it necessary to use argan oil and Shea butter? I'm allergic to both.
Thank you.
You can try babasu (excuse my spelling) oil.
Question? Where does your Chebe come from ?
It comes from Chad.

My hair is short, about 1 inch long. It’s inevitable that the powder will touch my scalp. Does Chebe irritate the scalp?
It can block pores in the scalp
If it can clog pores on the Scalp, why would anyone take that chance? I’ve been curious about Chebe, but I think I’ll pass.
