It’s a damn shame. Growing up in this country I’ve never felt outcast by white people. In fact, being a black guy who was against street life and typical hood shit, I found that the white, Asian and Latino communities were super accepting and welcoming. They didn’t care where I was from, what color I was, just that we shared interests.
Sadly whenever many of my black peers heard me speak or found out I didn’t like ratchet rap music, I would get harassed and made fun of for “acting white”

Conservatives will use science to prove transgender people don't exist while also claiming gay people shouldn't be allowed to get married because God. Facts only matter when they benefit your side.

He then tried to set up a talk with Az via MauLer to understand his perspective. Az agreed at first, but he refused after Act Man uploaded a video which included Az's rant before he could have Az explain himself.
This gets picked up again when Act Man discovers Sweet Baby. People give him shit for mocking Az, and he releases the DMs with MauLer without asking.

However, communism is not an inherently evil system and in the ideal society it would be a utopia with true equality for all (unless you dont like equality. I personally think equality is pretty good). Unfortunately, though, there have been no large scale examples of successful communism in all of history. This is because it requires all of the people in a communist society to be moral and they have to care about the society as a whole. But in examples of communism throughout history there is always eventually a person who appears and turns the communism into a dictatorship or similar system. So many of the societies people call communist may have been communist societies at some point, but now they are dictatorships. So no communism on a large scale is not an effective system as not everyone is going to be a moral system. But it is not inherently evil either as when people call communism evil they are not talking about actual communism, instead they are actually complaining about dictatorships.
If you would like me to expand upon my points I would happily do so I likely simplified some of the topics covered because I wrote this rather quickly.
A lot of young people including me start out as liberal. Then come to reality as we get older.
The siren call of the liberal is the desire to change the status quo, and every new generation wants to make its mark and change the world.
As we get older, we realize that a lot off the traditions and social norms of the world are not there to oppress anyone, they are tried and true wisdom of generations who learned a long time ago why those traditions and norms are needed.

Just canceled my sub to the SWTOR MMO because one of the writers retweeted a vile meme wishing the person had succeeded. I'd been considering canceling the sub for a while, but this was enough to solidify my decision. I refuse to give money to people who think these beliefs make them virtuous when they are the exact opposite. These people are saving me all kinds of money.

The guy who wrote KOTOR is an idiot from Canada who moved the Texas and wants to "make Texas blue". I have childhood memories of that game and still appreciate it for it's good points but there is stuff in it that is quite telling of the writers wokeness, for instance if playing as a female you have the option to insult Carth for being a "typical male". My political beliefs, ideologies, and philosophical leanings basically haven't moved since I graduated high school in 2008. There's some little things I've shifted on here and there, but generally my values have held firm and I haven't needed to course correct much.
Bearing that in mind, in 2008 I would have been considered a lefty liberal, and nowadays I would be considered solidly conservative, or a "fence-sitting coward" at best.

I never cared for politics. Never leaning to one side, or perhaps leaning but not even knowing/caring about the label. Nowadays I am apparently "Bible belted conservative" (said in the most derogatory tone that person could muster) simply because I thought children shouldn't get "gender affirming" surgery (which by the way that person was agreeing to. The person just didnt like who said it first). we had never even mentioned religion at that point. And apparently wearing a mask for covid and getting vaccinated is liberal nowadays (i wore mask and got all the vaccines). So I'm just confused.

I wouldn't even consider myself a conservative. But I have been against the cancel culture the whole time. I used to call myself a progressive but I'm still where I was and the left just left me. In the 90s colorblind equality was progressive. It's the only fair way to enforce civil rights. Punishing people because of their race and giving others preference is just more racism. If you talk with me regarding climate policy or fiscal policy you'd know I'm far from "far right". But the absolute insanity on cultural issues by the left has gone way to far. As a moderate in the US I'm usually forced to pick the worst of 2 evils since I agree with some things from one side and some things from the other. And 3rd party candidates never get a fair shot because of the entrenched 2 party system. The overton window has shifted so far left culturally that I might have to start voting conservative and deal with their excesses rather than the other way around.
Tbf a lot of people were blindsided by the flip from colorblind merit to necessitating separate spaces and ‘PoC’ which is just a reversal of what people 100 years ago would saying in the US south. Felt so sudden and weird.
And as Asmongold once said, Why would I ever feel sorry for these people? If that happens to me, they would celebrate.
