I've owned this exact watch for over 2 years, and it wears and keeps time better than my Rolex Sea Dweller. The blue dial color dances with the light and looks purple. Mido also adds an extra year warranty for the chronometer Si. Can't go wrong with Mido. Also have the Mido Multifort chronometer Si, another winner! Thanks for the Video!

I really enjoy this watch it lives next to my OMEGA Aqua Terra. Thanks for commenting and watching 😊

Obviously the mido is in a much different price bracket than the sea dweller…but how do the compare in size and wearability?

I believe this is the previous model. Mine has round dots and squares. I love all my Midos; they are so underrated.

Spot on review. I have this in all black with rubber strap. I traded in the Hamilton Zero Below after one week and decided on this… super happy. I wanted ceramic for scratch resistance, but after 4 months or so I still can’t find a scratch on it. Mido needs to up their marketing game in US.

    • @glockman9c

Do you know what the model number is for the rubber strap?

If they up their marketing game a lot tge price shall rise a lot. Look at rolex breitling omega and tag. Mido are wonderful under the radar watches.

Really a beautiful piece. I like how the helium escape valve is so subtle and doesn’t protrude from the case.

Despite I live in Europe 120km away from the Swiss border I didn't get aware of this brand. So marketing in Europe seems not to be intensive as well.
Anyway it's a nice watch, thank you for presenting it.

You have great taste sir. I love that watch, and personally, I actually also love that other people don't know you have a gem (unless they watch your once over vid) but you do. Will I buy one personally? No. I don't really do traditional mechanical movements. But if I ever meet you that watch will definitely get a compliment as well as a high five. Plus I'll most likely be wearing Seiko SNR025, which you also did a "Watch Once Over" vid on which was extremely helpful to me. Much respect. In terms of spec for price in mechanical divers the only thing I can name that's competitive is the Formex Reef, which is about $100 more expensive, and thinner, but has a 56 hour power reserve and 300m rating rather than 600m and 80 hours.

The Hamilton khaki Navy Scuba would be a great contender. Great review.

I have this watch, the newer version, partially skeletonized hands, indixes are slightly different and they changed away from the screws (only complaint) but it's absolutely gorgeous and the specs are insane, there is only one watch I know of that's actually less money with better specs and it's the Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000, in titanium, I have it also but I prefer the weight of the Mido, such a beautiful piece, oh, and both are COSC certified, Mido also offers an additional three years of warranty on their COSC watches, it's awesome!

Great review. Price aside, I was attracted to the look and quality of this diver. Better power reserve than Omega, beautiful finishing, great design. Can you comment on the bracelet quality? Looks nice and thick. Does the mechanism ever pop off on it's own? Thanks.

Great review - this one is such an underrated piece - almost an Omega Planet Ocean at less than 20% of the cost. I'd love to see a review on the newest version with the round markers as well!

@6re881 titoni is another wonderful under the radar brand. Too many people are pumped with the brand names and don't even know the real quality Swiss made watch brands that exist.

Great review sir! I've been looking at this piece for a few years now and like this version better than the most current model mainly because of the polished center links on the bracelet. Also have been looking at the omega seamaster 300m but for the price of the Mido and all that you get, it's a real value proposition! God bless and thanks again for the review!👍🏾

This looks comparable to Longines Hydroconquest with automatic movement and ceramic bezel. The Mido is nicer I think, but doesn’t have the name recognition as Longines… if that even matters! Mido is a chronometer also. They both are $1700 or so MSRP. It’s a hard decision.

how quickly can a beachgoer fill that hole with sand? I really wanted this watch.. If not for that hole.
Now im going with the Hydroconquest, with a much less attractive bracelet.. Because of a hole.
