      I know exactly what you mean - I was 'burned' once too in the past by a coworker. It is natural to trust people and particularly those we work with because we spend more time with them than anyone else in our lives. My best advice is to be cautious who you share what with at work. Sometimes it's best to draw a line between work relationships and friendships. Thanks for sharing your comment and I'm sorry you have been hurt by someone you work with.

    I got let go today and feel very relieved and not stress at all. It's nice not having to deal with a overbearing manager who micro manages. I got let go because of my "performance" even though I'm a top performer in the company. The job I had sucked and was time consuming having to deal with bad leads that my manager gave me.
    There is always another job. Your mental and physical health is more important. You being fired is a positive.

      I’m sorry to hear that; hold your head up high as what she says is true - I do definitely feel that there is life after being fired.
      I have literally just had my employment terminated - and it’s difficult to say that - it was due to having a mild chronic condition that affected my performance a couple of times. So many of my Work Colleagues were surprised that it resulted in termination and have been sooo supportive.
      So take that time to grieve as she says and really focus on all the qualities you have to offer - because people who have experienced tough times and grow in character have a huge amount to offer both professionally and personally. 😊🌈
      Very best wishes to you. 😊🌈

    I was fired due to company policy violation. One fine day I was on a call with a customer who was facing huge loss because of the company and I had to address his query. He was really angry and was shouting on the call. I had to calm him down and it took me 15 minutes to do that. But it was bad and while I was putting the receiver down and it was still not disconnected from my end, I murmured an inappropriate/ abusive word to myself which got recorded on the call. This was my reason of termination. Please tell me how to go about explaining this in the interview.

    I have been let go numerous times. I have been fired before (partially my fault), lost my job to outsourcing, laid off (staff reduction) and furloughed, but normally it's just the end of a contract.
    If I find myself let go for some reason, I take a day or so to grieve (if it was sudden/unexpected) and reflect, then I commit myself to my "new job" of finding a job. Reflection is important if you made a mistake (or several) that resulted or contributed to the job loss. You want to avoid making the same mistakes in the future, if possible. I treat the process of securing new employment as my job - including getting up early and getting dressed (not pjs all day). I spend 8 hours a day on it, 40 hours per week. I take nights and weekends off to recover, relax with friends, and invest in self-improvement and education - although I will do this during my "work time" too between interviews and networking.
    I'm fortunate that I'm in a highly in-demand field (IT), so I rarely worry about being out of a job for any longer than a few weeks and I now prefer contract work since I get exposure to many different companies without getting married to any of them (I can also opt out of the office politics too) - and it normally pays really well to - just save for the rainy days.

    The only downsides to getting fired for me are the difficulty of finding the best new job and (the worst) the financial hit even with some savings and unemployment insurance. They did not challenge that, thank goodness! It was only after losing my job that I realized what a toxic work environment it was (ageism was definitely a problem too as I am a senior citizen) and how very much I hated that uber stressful position (in mental health working with mentally ill youth).

    The single biggest thing to do when you leave a job without one to go to is to economise, because you don't know how long you need to "glide" for. Cancel things like streaming services, cook at home instead of eating out, if you've recently made larger discretionary purchases then maybe return them if you can get the money back. If you have a high cost car, maybe see if you can change it for a cheaper one (cars are a large expense that can be cut much easier than rent or mortgage payments). Literally, go through your bank statement(s) for a few months and totalise the amounts spent on various "things" and redline everything you can live without.
    You have less money but more time available, so maybe get the home and garden in order.
    Whilst you still have money, get yourself a set of "interview clothes" and keep them just for that. Doesn't have to be fancy. Just a cheap suit will do.
    Try for the best, allow for the worst.

    Here is my advice.
    When they call you office and tell you are fired and tell you sign the papers, never sign anything walk away go home call unemployment dump the garbage to your employer, don’t be afraid if unemployment call your work place they are not going to say you are good person. Take an unemployment than look for a job. When you are looking for a job in your resume or interview don’t never mention you don’t have a job, I tell you why? One if new work place they know you don’t have a job, you’re never going to get paid what you should be, 2) don’t be afraid they never call your previous work place and ask about you.

      Questions: 1) Why were you terminated so abruptly? Were there signs that termination was coming, say, bad performance reviews/attendance issues? 2) Why can't you draw unemployment? The only reason I know of for not being able to draw unemployment is because one was fired for cause. Or, were you perhaps not in your position long enough to qualify? 3) I'm assuming the "nine month gap" on your resume refers to the position from which you were fired. Why can't you use that company as a reference? Too many unanswered questions. A final one, do you live in the USA and are you eligible to work here legally?

    Hi Stacey; I am a nurse. I worked in a LTC facility. One of the residents didn't like me, and she wanted me gone. She feigned that I was trying to injure her. I was not, I am a very good nurse. LTC facilities don't want the State to come investigate complaints. I self reported the incident, what happened, and how she behaved. I was shocked to be called on the phone, and fired. I believe I was wrongfully discharged from my job. I don't mind being humbled, but my administrator said some untrue & unkind things to put me down when I was fired. I'm having a hard time getting her negative words out of my mind. I've been very depressed since being fired Monday. I have put my heart and soul into taking care of the residents. I am 65 years old, and feel like my life is falling apart. How can I look for another job after being told that I don't belong in LTC, I don't make a good LTC nurse? ( I have only had good performance evals prior to this occurring).

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach
      @VirtualJobSearchCoach  2 роки тому +4

      Oh Maria! I am so sorry to hear how you have been treated. It is horrible and makes me angry. I understand that LTC’s are concerned about investigations but to take one resident's complaint without proof or an investigation is extremely unfair to you. If I had your number I would call you right now with a phone hug and some sage advice…so consider this a virtual hug and here is my sage advice:
      I have no doubt you are experiencing a range of negative emotions and depression so I’m going to give you a little exercise to help combat this.
      Firstly I want to personally thank you for dedicating yourself to being in nursing (especially in Long Term Care - I know how difficult that environment can be) - nursing is one of the most difficult jobs but also one of the MOST important and needed careers in the world! Can you imagine the state the world would be in if we didn’t have nurses?
      Now having said that I want to help change your perspective on something. The Administrator is the person who hands you your paycheck (and controls whether you are hired or fired) - they are one person with their own job pressures, personal issues etc. It’s human nature that we can have 99 people compliment us but it is the 1 who says something negative that we focus on (I’ve been there too)…and the reason for that is because we care and that is a good thing. But let’s not give your power and energy to those negative people (the Administrator and the Resident who complained). They don’t deserve it. If you loved your job as a nurse then I have no doubt you were very good at it so remember this - The people you serve (your patients) are your true bosses! Those are the people who deserve your care, your compassion, your patience, your love and your energy. I can imagine right now you are feeling beaten up and depleted so I’m going to give you an exercise to help rebuild your self-esteem, confidence and help the negativity and rawness of what you have just experienced fade.
      What I would like you to do is sit somewhere quiet where you have no major distractions - or go somewhere that makes you feel good like a local park, lake, and take a pen and notebook with you. I want you to write down a list of all of the wonderful patients you have worked with throughout your career (forget the negative, grouchy and difficult ones - I know they existed too) - write down the ones who have said “thank you!”, the ones who made you laugh, the ones that you looked forward to seeing each day - and I don’t mean just recently, I mean all of those people throughout your entire career. If you can’t remember their names, write down something that reminds you of them, the man with the curly mustache, the lady with the bad perm, the one with the birthmark on their arm, the man with the old navy tattoo, the one whose hand you held when they were scared, when they were crying or upset, or as they were passing away, the one who always told you the same joke every day…just something that reminds you of them. Those are the people you work for (not the Administrator), those patients and their families are the ones you serve - they are the ones who are important and I’ll bet you have plenty of examples.
      Think back to when you first started your career, think of each facility you have worked at if more than one, remember the family members who thanked you, who asked for your advice, write down something that symbolizes that positive memory. If you want you can go a step further (I would suggest on another day) and write down all the times you went above and beyond either for a patient, a family member or a colleague, write down memories where you ‘saved the day’, or stepped in to help when you saw a need, when you supported a colleague etc.
      I really want you to truly do this….not just say “yeah yeah I remember those people”, I want you to physically go somewhere, take a cup of tea or buy a coffee on your way to the park, and then sit quietly and write down those patients names or as I said something to remind you of them….the purpose of this exercise is as you see this long list developing, it will retrain your brain’s focus onto positive memories which will overshadow the negative comments you have recently experienced. Those negative comments are recent, it’s raw, and has beaten up your self-esteem and self-confidence….it has created a wound and we want to help heal that wound quickly by smothering you with love (like putting polysporin on a cut). This exercise (if you actually do it) will help rebuild your self esteem and self-confidence on both a conscious and subconscious level.
      I would love to hear how you find the exercise, so please remember to give me an update. You are welcome to book a free 15 minute call through my contact page on my website www.virtualjobsearchcoach.com or you can find my email on my contact page too. I won’t post my email address here as I’ve discovered I get inundated with spam when I do.
      Believe and trust in yourself Maria! You are worthy, you are wonderful and the fact that you went into nursing as a career shows how much you care about people…so give yourself the same compassion right now that you show to others.
      I also wanted to mention, I’m not an employment lawyer but having been in HR for 30 years I’ve “seen it all” and based on the situation you described it does sound like you may have a case for wrongful dismissal, so depending on where you live and what the employment and human rights laws are for your state/province you may have legal recourse for severance pay. If you live in Canada you would have a strong case, but I know the US has different laws in each state (often protecting an employer more than an employee) but I would recommend you talk to an employment lawyer in your area. Many will offer a free consultation and some will charge a small fee to tell you whether you have a case worth pursuing or not. (Make sure it is a lawyer who specialises in employment law). There are many variables that will need to be taken into consideration which a lawyer will explain such as how long you worked for your employer being one, but your age will work in your favour in this situation.
      I wish you all the best Maria and please do let me know if that exercise helps. If you feel you need help explaining why you were terminated to future employers, I do provide one-to-one paid coaching sessions and I would be happy to work with you…again you can contact me through my website to set something up.
      Kind regards ~ Stacey ❣🌞

    After 40 years of full time work. I have been fired twice from the same industry in the past 2 years. I actually wanted to quit the second job, befoee I was terminated, but wanted to get a new job before giving notice. Then, I made a critical mistake and was given the choice of being fired or resigning. I chose to resign to avoid being walked out in front of every one. I am not ready to retire, but I dont know what else to do for a living. Age discrimination is also alive and well in the employment hunt and Im running into that loke a brick wall.

    I hate how common this question is on applications. I'm 32 now, at 16 I was fired from my first job as a cashier for a short till (miscounting customer change) I can’t tell you how many guys pay for $1,000 electronics and game systems…. with cash - SMALL BILLS!
    Though my manager came over to assist on occasion when there is a lot of cash involved, it’s still ultimately the employee's fault for miscounting. Was fired for a short till of negative $50.
    I’m 30 now….much more meticulous with cash though I rarely handle it in my professional career…but gotta admit, it feels pretty damn stupid to have to explain this for senior-level positions that are entirely unrelated.

    I was fired for “Low productivity during a furlough.” My boss did everything in their power to get rid of me. I was great at my job but couldn’t transfer bc of COVID. I haven’t been able to recover bc my former boss blocked opportunities for me. I’m a single mom and still pissed bc I lost that job over a year ago! I was hired back in another department but then another manager didn’t like me and fired me bc of attendance knowing other employees had worse attendance issues than me! My life has sucked! I try to do the right thing, do right by others. Why do I always get the short end of the stick?

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach

      I’m sorry to hear you were fired during this time. This COVID pandemic has caused so many problems and complications at every level for both employers and employees.
      I sympathize with what you’ve gone through and it’s so crappy when you are trying so hard and feel like you are always getting the short end of the stick. I know what that’s like and although I know it might not feel like it, things will turn around for you….sometimes it just takes some time and sometimes it takes a little action on your part. It’s kind of like being in a rain storm that goes on for weeks and you can’t do anything to control the weather…but you can wear a raincoat and rainboots and you can find places to stay out of the rain for awhile…and then eventually the sun comes out again life seems so much better. So my point is to hang in there and take charge of the things you can control.
      You are valuable and worthy! Be proud of what you are good at, and take some time to reflect on what you can improve on (You mentioned low productivity…I have a couple of recent videos on improving productivity in the workplace so if you haven’t already, you might want to check those out). None of us are perfect we all have things we can improve on. If your past supervisors ever gave you any feedback on things you can improve on - take some time to reflect on whether there was any truth to what they were saying and if so look for ways to improve on that. There are lots of books, online info and free online courses on just about every topic these days so whether you want to improve some skills or consider a different career or same job but a different industry there are lots of ways to create positive change and empower yourself at almost no cost. Of course if you have the budget you can also hire professionals to help get you there faster too. I also have a video on “5 top skills employers want”, that you might like. I would love to hear an update from you sometime. I wish you all the best in the meantime❣🌞

    I'm pretty sure I'm loosing mine too but it seems to be planned. The took part of my resposibilities and told me that a company will do that. Last Wednesday the 2 ladies I worked directly with were interviewing somebody when I wend to drop the last documents and folders I had. They got all nervous when they saw me and try to get me to go right away. The next day I got a warning for confusing the name of 2 students. The day after that they did an unplanned drill. I though it was real and got so nervous because I have a visitor in my office. I locked the 2 doors and close the blinds and hide. I was almost in a panic attack the moment I heard the team saying that the 2 doors were open. Exept the one in the room I was in with the visitor. I got so scared that I pee myself and almost passout. Now, I'm waiting for the call to the office again.

    The manager at my last job text me the same day they "let me go," to ask for my direct deposit info for my first/last check. ha. In the text message, I asked for a little more info on why they let me go, since all I got was the "not a good fit" line. Instead of any polite response denying me that info and perhaps the reasoning, they ghosted me. That only added to the hurt, humiliation and embarrassment (and all the other nouns, adverbs and/or adjectives from the list) that I was feeling. Anger was on top at that particular moment, plus fury, helplessness and a feeling that I was worthless, especially because of my age and disability. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day, "What did I do wrong? Is it my personality? Do they hate me? Why are they ignoring me?" How will I ever get a job?

    I was dragged upstairs today for questioning over a minor safety breach involving a forklift. I felt like I was in court.
    I kept my job by the skin of my teeth with a 'first and final warning'. Given I have to drive the forklift every day, usually for my entire shift, something else will happen eventually. I am human. So I may just jump before I'm pushed, and leave in my time and way, with another job lined up in advance. I think it's toxic now as they're gathering together my history of breaches....... I'm fucking over it all!

      Hi Bo,
      I am so sorry to hear that....it can be really hard for employers sometimes because many times they don't want to fire a person but if you aren't performing well in the job they may not feel they have a choice. I hope they at least made some efforts to help you perform better and try to make less mistakes before they had to make the decision to fire you.
      Now is the time to reflect on what types of mistakes you were making and ask yourself if these are things you could learn from and prevent from happening in future? Sometimes the answer is no and that is okay. I have often worked with clients where the employer provided my services as part of the employee's termination package and would tell me that the person just wasn't cut out for that type of work....so in that case I do career and skills assessments with the person and we discover what types of jobs and career fields would be ideal for them.
      Sometimes people go into a career because they 'think' they will like it or they think they will be good at it but they aren't and that is okay, or they go into a career because their parents told them they should or because they took schooling in a particular field and feel they need to work in that field now. It is okay to change your mind, it's okay to realize you don't love what you do - the important thing is to make the change, find something that you will be good at naturally (we each have our own natural aptitudes and talents), where you will feel fulfilled in your job, you'll succeed in what you are doing, you'll be appreciated and valued for your talents. Life is too short to be in a job you aren't happy in or aren't thriving in.
      I do offer personalized one-to-one coaching services so if you need help, please feel free to reach out to me through the contact page on my website www.virtualjobsearchcoach.com and we can chat further on how I can help you❣🌞

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach
      @VirtualJobSearchCoach  2 роки тому

      Hi Eric,
      I'm sorry to hear what you've gone through and it is a tough situation when you have failed a drug test. Depending on the type of drug and nature of the drug use sometimes things can be explained and justified even when it costs you your job. (I had a client who failed a drug test from taking Tylenol with codeine for a migraine, not realizing the codeine would cause him to fail the test, but the employer had a no-tolerance rule for failing drug tests and he was fired which seemed extremely unfair).
      It's the mistakes we make in life that make us stronger and better people! Depending on the type and nature of your drug use maybe this is one of those times to learn from your mistakes? - you have the power to learn and change (if you want to). I've worked with many clients who have been fired from several jobs consecutively and they still land new job opportunities. It does require having a strategy in how you talk about it with future employers.
      You can turn things around! If you need help coming up with a strategy to explain this to employers, or would like some advice on how to go about making some positive changes, or taking a look at some career options that might be better suited for you, I do offer confidential one-to-one coaching. You can reach out to me through the contact page on my website www.virtualjobsearchcoach.com if you like. Mention you found me through this video and I'll offer you a special discount. 🌞

    I would never think of yelling, but if I got fired due to a client lying or mis-representing me, i would say we can "agree to disagree". As I have worked for over 15 years for my employer i would ask if they could help with my expenses until I found another job to pay rent or for a year until I can make a case for disability. (chronic shoulder and knee pain)

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach
      @VirtualJobSearchCoach  2 роки тому

      Hi Jeffrey, You are wise not to yell (it never helps the situation) and depending on what country/province/state you are in there are sometimes employment laws to protect you from being fired unless there is a 'just cause' and a client lying or misrepresenting you would not be just cause unless it can be proven.
      I know many are in tough times thanks to the pandemic and the state of the economies everywhere but I always recommend everyone try to set aside a little money every month so you have at least 3 months of income so in the event of a sudden firing, you have the ability to support yourself financially while you look for another job.
      I certainly hope you are never fired but if it does happen and if you feel it was unfair or unjust check with an employment lawyer in your area to see if you have a valid case. 15 years with one employer is a long time, shows your commitment and loyalty and you could be entitled to a very significant severance payout if you were unfairly terminated.
      I wish you the best❣🌞 ~ Stacey

    The thing is people today are lazy and don’t wanna work would rather live off government assistance and when these people do have a job they slack off and then get mad when they get fired for that. Best thing you can do is be friendly be nice to the higher ups you don’t got too be a suck up just be nice especially if there being nice and respectful too you. Second give it your all at work you don’t have to be the best employee there but show your willing to work and try your best bosses love that it shows they can trust you and probably give you a raise or put you in control of your own department. Show up on time be there at least 15 minutes to 10 minutes early don’t show up right at starting time this will also show your trying and taking it serious. Lastly don’t go around to other employees and say bad things about employees or the higher ups trust me it gets around and eventually you’ll be called into the office and that’s not really a good thing bosses would rather have you working then sitting in the office.

      Hi Assia, if you got fired while you were in training I assume that means you weren't with the employer very long (ie. less than 3 months?) if that is the case - don't mention that employer and don't put it on your resume - it's not necessary and is not valuable enough since it was such a short time. When talking with recruiters it is best to be honest that you are currently employed. If you don't put that job on your resume then you don't need to tell them you were fired. Focus on what experience and skills you do have and target jobs that align with your strengths. 🌞

    I was terminated over my social media was hacked and exposed with materials I had nothing to do with. I'm been trying to seek legal action but at the same time I'm having a hard time finding a job. Is there any hope in my future?

      Hi Unbreakable (love your name!) and I'm so sorry I didn't get a notification of your comment until now. I hope things have turned around for you in the meantime but to answer your question - yes there is definitely hope in your future. It is awful to hear what happened to you and you certainly aren't alone in your experience of having your social media hacked. You were a victim of a crime and it is unfortunate that your employer didn't see it that way and support you but stand strong in your confidence that you didn't do anything wrong. Watch my video about "How To Explain Why You Were FIred, Terminated or Laid Off" for some tips on how to explain your story. If you are still struggling, you are welcome to engage my services for some one-to-one customized coaching where I can help you come up with how to explain what happened appropriately and strategize on addressing it in interviews. Many employers and recruiters do check social media accounts as part of the hiring/screen process so sometimes it is better to be upfront about it then to let them discover and make wrong assumptions. 🌞

      Well that is despicable behavior by your employer! If you sensed a termination coming then you have nothing to lose at this point....so depending on where you live and your employment laws you could have several options....1) see a doctor today and go on medical stress leave - depending on employment laws in your region they may not be able to terminate you while on medical leave...then start looking for a new job...it is better to find a new job while still employed - less complicated to explain than being fired. 2) contact an employment lawyer for advice on whether you have a wrongful dismissal case 3) confront your employer (calmly and professionally) about the posting. (Is there any chance they may be planning to promote you or offer you a different role?) 4) try to leave on good terms with a severance package and good reference.
      If they are planning to terminate you try to find out why...as an opportunity to learn what you need to improve on.
      Wishing you the best!

    I got fired due to lack of proper training. I am a single mother caring for an adult child who is terminally ill. I loved my job and now I don't know what I am going to do. I am very angry about this. As a career, I can't find it in me to take the high road on this one. I have been begging for training that other investigators would have gotten, yet my supervisor did not approve me for such. I don't know what I am going to do. Devastating!!! That's to say the least.

    I was just terminated from my job this past Friday however my supervisor is still requiring me to wrap up paperwork. She threatened me that if I do not complete the paperwork she will report me for an ethical violation. I know this sounds like a funny question. Can your supervisor still require you to complete work duties after you have already been officially terminated?

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach
      @VirtualJobSearchCoach  3 роки тому +5

      Wow - I am so sorry you were terminated and faced with that type of situation! It's a tough question to answer without knowing more details - If you have been giving a working termination notice then yes, however if you were fired for cause then No. I would suggest contacting an employment lawyer to confirm your rights have not been violated.

    I got terminated for telling a woman...
    "You have nice breasts..."
    She replied, "They're firm."
    Then she went to my manager and told her, alongside filed a complaint to regarding the incident. And as of today I'm unemployed... Lmfaooooo wdf 💀💀💀💀💀💀
    All seriousness, it's no joke. I can see where I messed up and it was inappropriate. I usually don't compliment women but this time time. I had to take a chance ;( Thwoman was gorgeous and had natural beauty. I simply complimented her. I didn't mean in a sexual way. I can see now it was inappropriate. My didn't want to terminate me it was all HR. We sat down and had a conversation regarding the incident, I owned up to my mistake and here I am. Please forgive me Lord, I ain't mean it like that. I was fired for something I'd never heard of before, what my manager called, "my fake attitude." It had to do with being one way at work and another when not at work and the fact that it all got played out very publicly (as in newspaper-level publicly). It had nothing to do with how I performed my duties. Just my madcap sense of fun. Uptight religiously funded organization.

    • @VirtualJobSearchCoach
      @VirtualJobSearchCoach  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Max, I'm sorry to hear what has happened...that certainly is an unusual reason your employer gave you. Unless you were doing something outside of work that was illegal, or what some might consider morally irresponsible and would have a negative impact on your employer, or you were in breach of a policy (ie. moonlighting) then they should not have terminated you. (However, what employers 'should' do versus what they actually do are two different things!) If you really loved your job you may want to talk to an employment lawyer to see if you have a legal case against your employer (even if you don't want your job back you may be entitled to severance pay). However if you are in an 'at-will' state then your employer can terminate without cause or justified reason (which is completely unfair to employees!). If you are in a province or state with employment laws that protect employee rights then you may have a case. Having said all of that, sometimes it is better just to put the negative experience behind you and move on...only you can decide on that. If you are doing something outside of your day job that gets you newspaper-level publicity then maybe that is an avenue to explore as a career change? (ie. social media influencer)
      If you feel stuck or unsure what to do now, I do provide one-to-one coaching for everything from identifying what are ideal career paths for you to job search strategy, to revamping your resume, to interview coaching, and more so feel free to reach out to me through my contact page at www.virtualjobsearchcoach.com anytime. I have resigned from my previous job . Almost i worked for four months only. But due to some hearing aid problems happened with me, i couldn't bear this pain for long time. then I requested to my boss for taking medical leave only . On the same day, asked me to serving notice period but i simply denied to do so for joining company. After having few days, I started giving an interview not only for the bpo only rest of the interviews like in banking role whereas I can do productive role and earn income for my family and myself. But unfortunately I was not shortlisted for which I was preparing from last six months. Now I was feeling under depressed and anxious about my job. All the time I felt offended, embarrassed , frustrated myself infront of neighbours and relatives.
    I do yoga in free time for relaxing my mood. All of sudden I expressed anger in front of my family because of not stability in any job.
    Kindly give me suggestions and tips how can we overcome my stress, anxiety and mood of depression.

    Even though our current progress report, productivity is 100% and my job objective is 112%, but they terminated me bc " you don't meet the policy standards "
    Idk what that even means. I was getting written up for typos, missing an "NA" on a questionnaire,???, so strange. If they want to get rid you, they will find a way. Smh

    First thing: consult a lawyer. I did, and I now have a multi-MILLION dollar case. I will likely never have to work a day in my life again. In fact, I can likely make a fortune getting fired from jobs through suing (as long as they wrongfully fire me). A lawyer can find multiple causes of action to throw at the employer, some of which you could be shocked at. Also, make sure you document EVERYTHING.

      Hi AJ, (sorry for the delayed response my notifications were accidently turned off). I'm sorry to hear you are lonely. I don't know where you live but now that things are starting to open up again, I hope you can find some places to meet new people. Maybe you can join a group or club that has activities you like (sports, games, hobbies) sometimes trying something you have never done before is a great way to meet new people and learn something new. My town just opened a gameboard cafe where people can drop in and play board games as well as have a coffee and snack. Maybe see if your town has something like that. Let me know how you do. 🌞

    I found your video most helpful! I was fired after a new manager was hired after my former manager retired; I did not meet the new manager's processing expectations so I was fired after a 45-day Accountability Plan took place. The kicker was also that she fabricated tasks that she said I did not complete or completed incorrectly. Some were even tasked to others not me. Technically I was wrongfully terminated!
