Having been in this position before, I strongly disagree with Ken Coleman. If there's anything an employer hates, it's someone who speaks badly about a previous employer. If you're a candidate, even if the employer was wrong, you should be as cryptic as possible. For the most part, don't concede any failings unless you genuinely believe you had them. The problem Ken has in this video is that he doesn't consider some employers can and do fire people arbitrarily. It happened to me. It even happened to Dave Ramsey. There are just trashy people out there in general. P.S.: Leave a review of them on Glassdoor, even if you have to use a nickname, so the rest of the world won't stake their financial peace on them.

NOW this shows up in my feed, after I just got a new job.

This happened to me. They don’t adequately train you; however, expect for you to get it. You can only access the partial training they gave you.

Same crap happened to me, I was doing good then I got canned, I think they did reference check and told about me getting terminated.

But the thing is, if you have been on the job position for a year and then get fired, it's hard to lie. I was let go on good terms (the 2 managers there want to be my reference, and one of them bought my painting). But I can't just lie, because my managers likely wouldn't go along with the lie, if they get called as a reference.

@@ArtsyMegz_On_Etsy here is what you need to do. Most companies don't provide references. Especially big companies. All they provide is dates of employment, title and salary info. Reason being they are lawsuit adverse. Have someone call and do a reference check of your current employer. There are services you can use to do this. If they give you a shitty review (true or not) send them a cease and desist letter (this will cost you a few bucks). Chances are company management/HR will tell those managers to STFU. Problem Solved.

I really do not have to watch this because both times I was "Set up" to be fired. The first time is when I was being harassed by the Branch Manager Brian Parshall at Wachovia Bank and asked for a transfer. He then stated "They are going to steal from you"...meaning one of the employees at the Atlanta Branch (Piedmont) is going to steal from me. They did, and I was fired after my infant daughter was medically murdered and I was divorced. This was in 2009 and then in 2011, I was set up to be fired again from the Town of Monroe in Connecticut after I worked my tail off and while the systematic sabotage was happening ( internet hacking) , almost killed by a plow while driving in the town, (Lies on police report) and witnessing an employee who clearly had a SUD ! This was confirmed by another employee years later !
Ken...you need to get a clue, (no offense) because if someone WANTS to get rid of you ....they will find a way !

What if these improvements were complete BS? Ken always sides with the employer because his boss Dave demands it. Don’t listen to this guy.
