Nice idea, especially since you showed me how, now I can loose the ugly plastic bottle for something more pleasing to the eye. The first flower pattern in blue, also my favourite colour. Glad I found you channel, 2 done lots more to watch. Thankyou 😊
Thanks so much! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my videos 😁. I love the oil bottle I kept, it works so well and looks so much better than the plastic bottle.
The corks I used are a rubbery silicone and have a little room for error, so that made it easier. I basically just measured a bunch while I was throwing so it would match.
@@workofartgreeley7065 the corks I got her actually silicone and they have a little bit of an allowance on the hole opening size so I didn't have to get it exactly exact. I used a regular ruler and guestimated.

Nice video. How do get the thrown opening for the corks the right size to fit fired opening. Thanks

did you use a shrink ruler, to get size right, for the hole on top for the oil bottle cork?

Did you glaze the inside of the bottles? Could you do a video showing that?
I did glaze the inside with Amaco celadon dipping glazes. I poured it in, swirled it around and then poured out the excess.
Thanks for answering
Hi! Did you glaze the interior as well?
@@SusanG917 yes, I poured dipping glaze in, coated the inside and poured the excess back out.
Ah cool thanks! I’m new to clay and am going to try this!
@@SusanG917 good, it's a fun project 🙂
Do,you glaze inside the bottle ?
@@Shawn_Reid_Pottery yes, with a dipping glaze that I poured in, swirled around and poured out.
