@@kleinwolterinkable thanks so much!
Did you hand build or throw this. Super cute.
@@kleinwolterinkable I threw it 🙂. I plan on making a video about them... But it may take me a little bit.
I expected your fist to go towards the pot at mach 10
You are so creative! They're awesome!
@@kimchopra thanks so much!

I bought some roofing paper and saw the warning for chemicals in the paper itself. Any concerns there as when I saw it I was bummed and didn’t dare use it. Just wondering if you were concerned at all. Thanks!
Can you provide a link to the cork purchased on Amazon? Thanks
Good philosophy :)

@@erinbuchanan6489 thanks so much!
Thank you!!!!
Are there other similar materials similar to roofing felt?
@@dianasoto5863 there are some that might work about the same. I've tried thick , not stretchy fabric and that works well too.
Thanks - your idea works with slip on paper .
Whaha love to see this! Just working on a video I had to cut down a bit because I was filming myself from very upclose😂 love the plant pot by the way!❤

Mollika, really curious about your wind chime parts in this video. I am not any social media so if you have posted a picture of a finished one or explained how you do them, I cannot see them. Is there a way you can share this technique. Really enjoyed this video and hope your sale went very well..

Hi Mollika! Great idea with the little mushrooms. And I love the "make your own set" concept. Good luck at the market!
@@patspotpage thanks! 😁
Hey Millika! So happy to see and hear you again! Love your kilnopening! And I did not remember who made the mushroom I also made and so I could not do a shout out for you!! The little mushrooms are so fun! I'll have to check out your channel 🙂
@@potterybymollika yes I love your mushrooms 🍄!
One note I would like to add on using this technique, and that is there is a sweet spot on how much slip (splashpan drippings) to use. Too much and the tar paper will slip and throw off your center, especially with the large items and not enough and it won't grab the paper. What I do is smooth out the paper on the bat with a wet sponge; and then I let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. This has worked great for me. The other thing is that, when the rim is leather hard, flip the piece upside down on another bat, and then peel the paper away from the edge of the bat with you one hand, while pulling up the bat with the other had. I do this on a banding wheel, as it allows me to work my way around the piece till finally the bat just pops off, there is no need to wire it off. And like you lauradavenport1645, I figured that the cost of a whole roll of tar felt was very cheap compared to to the price of bats, and with the uses that it offers. ;-)
@@coldfire05 thanks for the tips!
Wow gorgeous! What’s the name of the color
Thanks! This was some colored slip I mixed up myself.
I'd buy an oil dispenser, some planters, the biggest bowl, and some smaller ones! I love all the colors
@@lindapowers6405 thanks so much!
I missed the vocal at the start, user error, cant blame anyone else, that a lot of eggs you made, i love your littly hanging planters, cute. My 1 of 2 best bits, that tiny pot and the big one, love how you took the colour and decoration just over the top and down a little. Love it. ❤😊

Hello, please can you tell me which roofing underlay you use? I'm in the UK. I'd like to use it for templates. Thanks! 😊
I LOVE THESE!!! Omg how fun!! You may want to make some that are a little taller and not so wide because some peoples sinks don’t have that much room! These are so fun!! I can’t believe you sanded all of those corks!!!! Girrrrl! Hahaha. Good for you!! I love the purple and green the best!! How did they do!?
@@micheledickey4066 ooh good point about the the shape, I may change it up when I make another batch. I've sold a few so far!
@@potterybymollika Yeah it’s hard to think of all those things but we have a bathroom that those bottles wouldn’t fit on so that’s what made me think of it.
Wow! Another kiln load so quickly! Good for you!! I love all the glaze drip pieces!! The magnets are great sellers for me. I pray you do well!!

My girls always loved playing with clay with me. They are in their 40s now 😊
@@skyvonsch so fun to play with clay 😁
Wow girl that’s a lot of mushrooms!! Love the planters. Very cool! Not selling anything at a market is so hard and I’m so sorry. The reason may be that you weren’t at the right kind of market. Sometimes at certain markets people are looking for pretty specific things and it certainly prices. Post pics of your set up and ask what people think. That may help too.
@@micheledickey4066 thanks! Yeah, I asked on a pottery page and got some advice, thanks.
@@potterybymollika Oh awesome!!
Hi...loved your video. I have a question. Did you buy the soap pump with cork already attached or is it a regular screw on bottle pump that you added a cork to? I have tried to find pumps on corks and have had no luck. Love the underglaze and scraffito you do...gonna give it a try.❤
@@PatFitzgerald-hn9cs I bought the corks and pumps as a set (Amazon). I had to put the cork on the pump, but they can as a set. Sgraffito is so fun! Totally give it a try 😁
did you use a shrink ruler, to get size right, for the hole on top for the oil bottle cork?
@@workofartgreeley7065 the corks I got her actually silicone and they have a little bit of an allowance on the hole opening size so I didn't have to get it exactly exact. I used a regular ruler and guestimated.
