Thank you for talking about how the bottle gets weak when starting the neck and how to fix/avoid it! I was running into this problem, and couldn’t figure out what to do!
I watch you make things and you make it look so simple but it sure isn't. You are a very talented Potter. Thank you so much for demonstrating and teaching. They are beautiful.
I am wondering about what appears to be a type of glaze you add to the bottoms of your pieces. I assume this is a kind of signature, but wonder how you then put your pieces through the bisque firing?
Omg people are so rude in this comment section. Just jumping in to say i love this tutorial and I'm going to try put these tips to use tomorrow with my first bottle! Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for saying so. I appreciate you very much. It rolls off my back anymore ;) This is some earlier content and it is definitely lacking some elements. Hope to get new content soon. Have a wonderful afternoon.
Hi, thanks for sharing. I was surprised that the pots were able to stay on the plastic bat to dry. Are you doing these on the same day and drying with torch or were these over a few days? With the plastic bat, wouldn't cracking be a concern? Thanks!
Hello 👋🏼 the curvature of the vessel is held snug inside the bisque fired chuck. I grab the chuck with the griffin grip. The chuck, It captures enough surface area to hold the piece firm and still. Just make sure you have a sharp tool, and let it cut.
I really like your teaching style, but some of the sections where you speed-up the video are hard for me to "translate" to my hands. It makes things almost look like magic. I realize you're compressing the video to save our viewing time, but it makes my brain wonder whether my clay is too hard. (I'll figure that out with a bit more experience.) Thanks for taking the time to make these great videos. 👍
Good pottery, bad sound. Thanks for showing us your process, you have talent for sure, but the music is so much louder than your voice it makes the video hard to enjoy.
Ya it’s a bit much. Some early videos not the best. Just hit mute and turn captions on next time. Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. Have a great day 🤙

Hi! Really beautiful work!
I wish you could talk a bit about the best softness of the clay, what you prefer!
Best regards!
Hans
This was very helpful thanks. I like to have a tilted rim on my bottles but haven’t worked out a good way to do this. What would you do? Thanks
Thank you so much! I am not sure what you are referring to with a tilted rim?
@@fluxstudiodenver8062 sorry not to be clearer. I mean at an angle to the pot, on a slant. Thanks
I loooooooovvveee these shapes, I'm making almost the same shapes 😍😍
Thanks so much for tuning in!
Can you please tell me how you got the bottles to stay put while you trimmed them on the chuck? I didn't see any lugs of clay holding them in place.

If you love your work other people will love it too.
Thank you!

Is this red iron oxide stain on your bottom? Trademark signature? Just curious. Thank you!
Hi 👋🏼 yes red iron.

Thanks!

Thank you 🙏🏽 I agree.
Are you in a hurry? You might consider actually finishing throwing before jumping onto the next piece.
Sometimes I am. I do need to slow down at times.
Sorry, but I do sweat the little things. No apology, too much wobble for me.
I agree. But I was not re-filming that day…
Pleas take away The music
the music... 🤮
