You have got to be the neatest potter I have ever seen work a wheel.
Thank you so much for sharing your process! I've been throwing for over a decade but this is the one shape that I can't seem to be happy with no matter how I make it. Your video has made me want to try again, and I really appreciate how you stayed more technical in your explanations. You showed a few little details (angle of the cup itself, series of drip holes vs one, to name two examples lol) that I hadn't been keeping in mind when throwing-and now I will! Cheers dude!
I've tried so many times to make this shape but it never goes the way I want. This video gave me some more inspiration! Can't wait to try again. ☕
It's one of the more challenging forms to throw in one piece, but if that's not working for you then you can do it as two and join them which might be a little easier
Me and my buddies in my studio really enjoy your ‘borealis’ glaze.
I know absolutely nothing about ceramics other than how to use the end product, but I love these videos!! Also, and please don’t take this the wrong way, you have gorgeous arms 😌 - beautiful to watch you work (just saying)
Thanks so much for making this video (and all your other ones)!
It's a race to read your captions, and need to pause and go back 10 seconds and pause again, to be able to read most of them!! 😂
But the documentation of the process iss very nice. Similar yet different from the way that I maker my pourovers. It's always fascinating how each potter has a slightly different way to make the same forms!
I loved the whole process. In my fav. colors. Art & Zen lifestyle! I like the smell of fresh coffee but only drink herbal tea. ☺️💝
Brilliant and beautiful!!
Your videos always mesmerize me. One day make my own pottery :)
You should!
So beautifully done! Love the color.
Super the mug Is very beautiful ❤️
Great job! I would like to try making one of those however I am not sure how to account for the shrinkage after firing. Will the paper filter still fit? Any tips? Thanks a lot!
love your glaze ….. it’s a non commerciale one right ? would you sell some ?
I don’t usually like pottery because it’s not perfect. Lol. I know its an illness!!! But I believe this talented artist just solved that problem for me. WOW!!! I cant stop watching these videos. Wonder if I can buy items in the US?
Nvr tried pottery, it looks fun!
Literally watching this minutes before I take my exam lol.
Hope it went well!!!
@@jayn1nja It did!!! I still need to finish it tonight bc I didn't finish in time, ahaha. Thanks!! so much!
Haha, I hope the video helped somehow!
@@OldForgeCreations yes it did! I love your creations!! They are sooo beautiful. (my ideal date night, lol)
Same here. I needed to calm myself. 3 hrs b4 exams
The shirt! So funny!
Lindo demais. Já fiz cerâmica mas não tínhamos torno então era na minhoca mesmo. Parabéns pelo magnífico trabalho. ❤️🇧🇷
that blue glaze is crazy
very nice creation😍🌺🌸
Amazing
I don't quite understand was yhat saucer( small plate) used in the process of making coffee, or was it just fir technical reason, during creating the piece? I don't really know how does dripover works, and even have no clue how it's called in my language so this thing kinda confuses me 😊
What glazes did you use?
Well that sure doesn't look like beginner stuff... I'm gonna stick to mugs for a few years =)
Coffee Dripper 👍
What clay are you using?
Id love to get into pottery but I don’t have a kiln nor can I afford one anytime soon, what can I do? Great videos btw, i’ve been binging them!
@JonThePotter just posted a video on this very subject!
Hi i saw youy glazes like nuditea an you said thats better over a dark clay..can i use black slip intead an then the glaze?
Lovely video, but I find your captions should have a slightly longer display time. It's a bit to fast to read, especially the longer ones.
Noted, thanks. I just used the UA-cam default when I added them, but I should be able to go back and adjust most of them
I change the speed of the video to read the captions. Many thanks for including those.
Love it!
Is that a marble slab you're wedging on?
It's a litho stone, from an old printing press. Its more porous than marble would be
Did you wax the bottom?
Hi can you make one of this using air dry clay 🥺🙏
Was that flux added to the rim?
I think he is putting white glaze at the top, which then overlaps the blue farther down. Overlaps often give very interesting results.
What weight of clay do you use?
600g
Супер, спасибо за твои видео ;-)
Waaaaaw
Milk?! 😢 up until that point I loved all of it 😂
Прикольно!👍
the shirt
😁🐻🦖👻
All the shirts! 😂
I simply cannot make the swirls.. tried 8 times today and failed every time..lol
