Red Way inaugural flight - New airline based out of Lincoln Nebraska takes to the air

- In this video you can follow the journey of the Red Way inaugural flight. On June 8, 2023 Red Way officially took their first flight, departing from Lincoln (LNK) airport to Orlando (MCO) airport.
Red Way airlines also known as Fly Next LLC, officially launched as an airline earlier this year and announced a June 8, 2023 inaugural flight which they stuck to and did not reschedule.
Red Way launched their first two inaugural flights on 6/8/2023, the first was to Orlando and the 2nd was to Las Vegas.
Red Way is chartering aircraft from Global Crossing Airlines sometimes referred to as “Global X”.
Red Way has also announced flights to Dallas, Austin, Nashville, Minneapolis, Atlanta which are all set to commence in the month of June.
Red Way is based out of Lincoln Nebraska, at Lincoln Airport. Lincoln Airport recently underwent a massive 50+ million dollar renovation.
The excitement for Red Way to launch was present throughout the airport. The mayor of Lincoln Nebraska Leirion Gaylor Baird was present before the flight talking to passengers and media and even joined the inaugural flight to Orlando.
Upon arriving in Lincoln, Leirion Gaylor Baird was greeted by Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer where together with the Orlando airport authority held a short press conference.
