I flew them on March 23rd, from PHL to AOO. I bought the ticket with American from Boston (BOS-PHL-AOO). It was an Embraer E-145, we barely had ten people on board -- and that includes the two pilots and 1 Flight attendant. The plane was as old as possible, and seat pockets were glued with gorilla glue. The plane was filthy too, to say the least! But, it was a nice flight, that Embraer flew like some old rocket, and we had a hard and crosswind landing in AOO--the cherry on the cake!

We’ll be off to Tampa 9 months from now. I keep pricing Porter, A/C , Westjet and later this week Southwest’s schedule is to come out. A/C’s comfort price is a little more than Porter’s comparable seat and options. Westjet cheaper but no refund so that explains cheaper price. Maybe the fares will drop in tje meantime, maybe they’ll go up? It’s still a ways off so if I do opt to book now with refundable fare then it’s open to cancel and rebook for less. Once southwest from BUF is published I’ll have another one to compare. I would really like to try Porter though.

you mention the Hilton? is it as new tho or run down. That would be a factor for me! i rather pay more for a new hotel that was not ruined by guests, i.g. dirty carpets or walls as is often the case. Do you know the Hilton? would be curious

only flown spirit and frontier but i agree spirit provides better service

Nice report, glad to see someone else doing inaugural flights from EAS Airports! Strangely enough, I still haven't been on Contour yet, despite being to so many EAS Airports... How many have you been to?

I find it funny that for a brand new plane United uses the classic Collins Pinnacle seats for economy, while for the updated A319 it uses Recaro BL3530. I found that Recaro seat being MUCh more comfortable.

Its Airbus so thats good... Im weary of a certain type of plane until they figure out whats going on.

Porter has a habit of delayed departures. Would not consider them again. The Porter reserve seats are tight and not the room as expected. Cold meals not hot meals are served. WIFI is garbage

too bad it and the 220 are total garbage from a maintenance stand point
