it does take a whole lot more effort to craft tho. The amount of mats for crafting each of the oil, pigment, polish are already multiple times than a single gilda tradepack that can be turn in for 16g. Not to mention the labor cost is multiple times as well. But yes I guess you are totally right if its about saving time, but that's only an issue till we get a proper farm cart

I highly doubt larder ever have that much silver per labor. There is so much cost to make larders. There is also the time cost for aged packs which then there is also the taxes you need to pay to keep the land. You pay taxes every week and can make 2 larder runs per week? 670 labor for 90g, thats 7.4 silver per labor, this would only be profitable after you get "master" in commerce proficiency. Requiring less labor to craft and turn in.
If im not wrong your math is not correct. For 90g it is 13.4s /lp but thats not true either. You have to substract the matcost. He said 10g per mat which we have 3, so 30g. This is just rough but for a profit of 60g its 8.9s / lp. To be honest i do understand the whole s per labor situation but for me matters most s per hour. So if i can pack 10 packs on a cart, drive 15 minutes to the vendor and drop em for a profit of about 600 gold thats fine for me. @@xyyrjhao1542 at beginning before ppl discovered these packs they very very good silver to labor ratio. Iron ingots were very cheap, so most of the time you would gain some silver by getting blue salt bonds. It cost 15 labor and 7g to craft pigment/polish/oil (stocking up on materials when they are on cheaper end). So Pack cost 715 labor and 21 gold to make. With 130 demand thats 88(mahadevi, 5 min runs with clipper), -98(perinoor) gold per pack. So 67-77 gold profit for 715 labor which is very good. I always thought pack runs were the best S/L... could you name something that may be good if not packs? Doesn’t have to be the best strategy, because I understand how “hard” it is to make money
harvesting wild crops is really good silver per labor but also very time consuming. You can get generally 10-20s per single seed items like wheat, rice, flowers etc... Less time consuming but better silver per labor is crafting specialty items that require high prof to craft like woodlots, dairy pens, golden keys, fishing rods, etc... pretty much if you special in one crafting prof and raising it up non stop you will generally make a ton of money when you reach the high end items that only 1 or 2 people on the server can craft, once the game progresses and many people have max prof then it becomes way less profitable and you always need to be on the look out for market where it has been abandoned by the crafters. A lot of things are always in flux in the markets you got to adapt to what the other players are doing in game.
Ya, it starts at 130% bonus profit and drops down to 70%~ depending on how many packs have been traded in, you'd probably have to trade in like 50 packs to get to 70% tho

The new trading system is just ok. In order to fix it they need to increase the gold value more for longer distances. Crossing 1 zone gets you about 11 gold/pack. Takes like 8 min 1.375 gold per minute. Crossing 4 zones gets you 17 gold and takes about 30 min 0.56 gold per minute. That's just wrong and makes the long trips totally worthless. It also makes land further away worth peanuts. Get a Farm Hauler and make 55 gold per trip and that takes 8 min 6.875 gold per min. Hard to beat that kinda gold per minute using next to nothing for labor.
