Save your money and just build one. I was wanting a way to magnetically attach the GO II mic TX to my person while maintaining correct mic positioning. RODE does make a magnetic accessory for this task, but why buy what you can build better yourself, for free! So that's what I did in this video. Great stuff man, I've been meaning to figure out a 3D design to print and integrate magnets into, but a nice slab of metal can't be beaten in terms of simplicity! Thanks for notating the little tit spikes, I wouldn't have thought about just creating little grooves for them to bite into. I know it sounds dumb, but I feel like I should have just bought a stock Rode clip since I've been fussing (for months on and off) over making my own and frankly for busy or anxious folks like myself, it may be less of a hassle to just purchase one. Then again, practical vids like this showcase the possibilities and things to look out for, and I'm thankful you uploaded it. Also love how you didn't bother taking off the belly mic while doing the notches LOL

I'm glad ya liked it. Helping others with the same or similar problems, that's why I do these videos. And too because I like making videos 😁.
