That wouldn't make sense since Skylands is a world in the center of basically a multiverse. It is not an afterlife place, especially since death and birth can happen in Skylands. So this theory already is not valid.
Cynder's backstory is almost one to one to her Legend of Spyro Counterpart Also it's a popular fan theory that the Skylanders version is a reincarnation of the Legend version, the ending scene of Dawn of the Dragon even looks like Skylands Dark Spyro also originates from Legend of Spyro Edit: Also, Ka-Boom's bio states that he comes from Munitions Forge, which is a level from Legend of Spyro
Considering that the Brain is one of the ancients, and thus much older than 10,000 years, and that the dragons can counteract the Brain's brainwashing without having any of the scols seen in Imaginators, it could be that Spyro could already be 2,000 years old, if not older
Just wanted to bring up Portal masters can warp both time and space this could explain both Spyro’s age and the Arkeyans connection to ancient civilizations and separated by centuries.
I personally like to believe that the 3 Spyro era's (classic, legends and Skylanders) are all connected in a tome loop (will likely be broken with a new Spyro game) in classic, there isn't much in Legends, Malefor is another purple dragon and Spyro was adopted by Dragonflies as a hatchling (aka for this theory, Malefor is classic Spyro) and at the end of Legends, a big world splitting explosion happens, with Spyro and Cynder being caught in it (for the theory, Skylands is formed, and Spyro and Cynder got reincarnated in it) now, because we don't know how Skylanders ended (as in post-Imaginators) but I like to theorize that all of Skylands got pulled together, but the amount of magic stays the same (lots of magic, in a small space) this results into Skylands transforming into the Spyro 1 world known as, Dream Weavers what even more solidify this theory for me, is a dragon found in Dream Weavers known as Zikomo who in the Reignited Trilogy, not only has the Skylanders Magic symbol between his horns, but also carries around 1 of the Magic Hourglass Trap from Trap Team (a remnant of the past if you will)
Spyro and Cynder aren’t technically crossover characters. Skylanders was originally intended to be a second reboot of the Spyro franchise. If not for Spyro, Skylanders as an IP won’t exist. I would consider Skylanders as a franchise that branches off from the Spyro franchise like Donkey Kong Country is a branch of the Mario franchise.

there's unfortunately a lot the video got wrong, or a lot of details it missed, for one, we don't know how old Eon is, but it certainly could be more than a 100 years, the swappers are very unlikely to be his first ever team of Skylanders, but it is true Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy are all said to be one of the first of his new generation of Skylanders, the Cores we see currently in the games, however that does not mean Spyro would be as old as the swappers or older, his lore from other Spyro games does not apply here. secondly, the ancient scrolls mentioning Spyro weren't written by old Portal Masters but possibly even the Ancients themselves, detailing his exploits both from the past and the future, most of which Spyro isn't even aware of, and it is literally said Eon recruited Spyro as soon as he learned of his existence, so we can assume that he was recruited as soon as he was called a hero in his homeland, the scrolls might say that Spyro would be born and would become a hero but it's unlikely even the Ancients could know the exact timeline of events aka when exactly all of that would happen, as looking into the future can be tricky and Skylands is no exception to that popular trope thirdly, the two thousand year threshold for something being considered ancient is a lie and tbh idk where you got that, we'ge got ancient arkeyans from 10 000 years before and that's one of the oldest civilizations in lore but even the Ancients, which had only disappeared around 1000 years before SSA, are still very much considered ancient in the present day, so that's already something against your claim, but still it is supposed to be one singular Spyro, we do know it's him and only him, we just don't know the significance of that as his story relating to said scrolls was never finished, and we don't know when exactly the scrolls came to be as assuming the Ancients made them they could be as early as 1000 years before SSA, just before they vanished, or as old as Skylands itself fourthly, Spyro definitely met Kaos before the Machine of Doom happens, as Kaos had been known for his villainous acts years before that, even the book itself mentions how he attacked the Core of Light on a completely different occasion fifthly, you forgot to mention exactly how Spyro came to be able to transform into his Dark variant, as he is the first ever Skylander to do so, the reason he could do that was because he is a Purple Dragon, a powerful and supposedly rare race of dragons that can harness the power of any and all elements, it also explains why most of his attacks are Fire based despite being in the Magic element, he just prefers using Fire but nothing's stopping him from using anything else, and the Darkness used that ability against him, it did want to corrupt the Core of Light directly but Spyro being so elementally attuned was deeply affected by it, which Eon immediately noticed and quarantined him so the Core would remain safe, and later Spyro trained to control this newly found dark power
