  • @cobracommander9138

The witness seems very credible. The witness was definitely on the police officer's side, taking the knife away, telling the victim to stop resisting. Many people that have a criminal past and have been in and out of trouble and later turn their life around believe that if the police is approaching you it's because you did something wrong and you need to shut up and comply. And that's basically what the witness said. I don't know the witness past but judging by his street home tattoos he likely has a troubled past. Had the officer not executed the guy when he was on the floor bleeding from a gunshot wound the witness would have testified for the benefit of the officer. The witness has no reason to lie he actually has reason to not be a witness for fear of retaliation because there will be.

What not many people know, and I wonder if it was mentioned at this trial, is that police holster is engineered in such a way that nobody but the officer himself can pull the gun out of it. It's safe to say that whenever police is making a claim that the suspect is reaching for his gun, it's always a lie. In fact an attacker who would try it would make officer's job easier by focusing his efforts on something that is impossible in the first place instead of using other techniques.

The cop would have been cleared if he had not shot him in the head. Everything up ‘til then could have been reasonable doubt to acting in the moment. Guy’s hand brushed his gun. When he turned with his gun to the witness he was securing his position as the witness was very close but immediately turned from him.
They also could have taken this witness to task on being Adamant about what he thought he saw even after seeing contrary footage and how that colors all the other things he said he saw. Also his comment about telling people to obey the Police or you might end up dead. They could have pushed for him having a bias against Police….but the defendant just couldn’t stop himself from his avarice, hate, psychosis, whatever it is that is in him and lucky for society he’s going away.

I have always appreciated the dedication of police officers, but I will never accept a criminal action that costs someone’s life and could have been prevented. As citizens, we are tired of the leniency of the laws towards criminals. The police apprehend them, and a few hours later, they are back on the streets. This makes us and the police feel ineffective like we're "chasing our tails." The laws seem pointless in protecting those who pay taxes and feel unsafe wherever they go.

Cops aren’t paid to protect you and I OR to prevent or solve crimes they’re paid to protect the wealthy and their assets!!! The sooner you and other like you start to understand the cops are NOT our friends the better off we will ALL be!! I worked as a paralegal for over 20yrs and my late brother was a prosecutor!! Poverty is what drives crime and until we as a society do something to solve the poverty issue there will be crime!! The poor shouldn’t be held in jails sometimes for YEARS waiting for trials on crimes that rich ppl would bond/bail for!! Until we all accept the fact that our govs goal is to fill FOR PROFIT prisons so Corp America can use prisoners as SLAVE labor and until we denounce and change the system things will only get worse!! Don’t forget these violent attacks by cops are not just experienced by “suspects” of “criminals” but INNOCENT law abiding citizens as well!! Cops illegally stop people for things as simple as exercising their 1st Amendment rights everyday & some of those stops (which are illegal) end in great bodily harm or death because they’re not taught the LAW or how to de-escalate in the academy and they do nothing outside the academy to learn more about the law or de-escalation practices!! LE system is BROKEN!! Cops should have to carry a special “malpractice” type of ins like doctors carry and if they have too many lawsuits they should lose their right to be in LE & Qualified immunity must END!!! Taxpayers should NOT have been paying this killer FULL PAID LEAVE for FIVE YEARS aka paid vacay while he was going through trial for MURDER nor should we have to pay for lawsuits that come from criminal acts committed by COPS that result in great bodily harm or death!!

BTW don’t let them fool you with this BS of how “dangerous” their job is….cop doesn’t even make it on the list of the 25 most dangerous jobs in the US!!
Top 3 most dangerous jobs in US are
      1. Tree trimmer/pruners
      2. Commercial pilots
      3. Ranch animal handlers/workers.
ALL jobs MORE dangerous than being a cop!! Cops usually make situations WORSE by escalating them instead of deescalating because they want an excuse to fight or k*ll “suspects” which is why I NEVER call the police!! The next thing they LOVE to say when these things happen is “not all cops are bad” well I say “as long as BAD cops exist GOOD cops do NOT exist!! ✌🏼
