I used your box braid video to install my braids and it was easier than I expected. I'm a true beginner with braiding and twisting but your video helped me out immensely. I took two days for me to braid/twist up my hair. My arms and fingers were quite sore but it was worth it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with protective styles!
You have by far the best protective style tutorials. Every time I'm ready to put in some twists or braids I come to your videos. Keep them coming!!!! I'm waiting for a faux loc video👀👀
Xpressions hair is just as long. All you have to do is cut it in half as you did this one. I promise you won't be disappointed! 😀😀 But you did a great job!!!!
Shamayam Parya if your bathroom mirror is by the door just hang a hand mirror on your door and position it so you can see where your parting. That’s how I get my parts perfect.
This is pretty old comment but to add, you can get one of those long rectangle mirrors and put it in a chair, that way you can angle it (turning it slightly to the left/right) so that you can really see the back of your head well. I need a way that I can do the top (top of my head) parts because it’s what I have the most problems with. Bless!
This video was fantastic. I've never used braiding hair in my life (seriously...never attempted it, never played with it, it's always been tracks, weave, etc.) and this video simply put me on top 😂 I did my own twists and got asked where I got my hair did all night long. (Thank goodness I did it right) lol
Thank you soooooo much! I've been braiding since I was 13, but could not grasp the split n twist method! You are my angel for this braid trick, thank you!
OMG, I hate u so much!!! I cant find the hair I bought LLS. I envy u cuz you can put your hands on yours. I gotta buy more if I don't find mine. My baby's pre-k graduation coming up too!!!
Yes girl I do my hair exactly the same way you do....tbh the method you use is better for long lasting reasons it keeps for way longer and I can wash my hair in this style too! Well done on this video looks great .......I have expressions hair and I'm gonna do my hair on Sunday... stay blessed ✌️
when i think how many times i wanted to try but was terrified. this was the best tutorial i think i've ever seen on how to do something and it made sense. you've made it look very do-able. thank you :)
My look at video every time, when I'm bout to start my braid process.. Even tho i already know how to do them... It's very relaxing to watch & sets the Hair braiding mode for me...
Girlllaaa! This method is so much easier than the twisting method. I did larger Marley twists but it was easy to do and they look great. Thank you so much. I really love tf out of you for this
When I first watched your box braid video, I too wondered why you used so many packs of hair. Back then, my hair was so short, thin, and stringy so naturally I never used many packs of hair. As soon as I went natural, my hair became thicker and if I didn't cut my braiding hair in half, I would need damn near 14 packs of hair lol.
omg thank you so much for showing how to start with the braid. it makes so much more sense for than the twist method because my hair is just too long to try and work with all that.
YOU GO GURL 😍😍😍 LOVED THIS!!! can't wait to do my own!!! I asked this girl to do mine and she said you can only do these with expensive ass Marley hair because I got the kenekalon hair I'm convinced she just don't know how to do it but I'm gonna do my own thank you!!!
Love this! Beautifully done. Going on vacation in a month and Senegalese twists are on my list. Probably won't be doing them myself but I love the thickness of yours. So pretty! 😊
I recently used the same hair you used and there really isn't a lot of hair in those packs. Can't wait to reinstall mine, the only issue I have is how fast they get frizzy. But beautiful results as always
You did a great job... I'm tempted to do them myself... About 2 years ago I got them done for the first time at a salon and for as much as I said I'm tender headed they were doing it super tight... So 2 years later I'm going to try doing them myself... YIKES! How long did/do you keep it installed?
today i,ve found you,re channel..the way how to explain the senegale twist is awesome easy !! i love your style,of course your Channel to. ! i give a thumb up,,and greatings from germany,,thx a lot for learning us these awesome style
WOW BEAUTIFUL!!! I am dying to try some Senegalese twists. I need something different......But I am scared to try on my own lol. You are very pretty, thanks for this tutorial.
I watched the ENTIRE thing from beginning to end which I had no intentions of doing and I'm newly re inspired lol. Lemme go buy my hair real quick lol great job
Nice. Yes this how I prefer to do my method . (When I used to do hair and do those twist) yes I used to start off with a braid first at the base. It seem like the twist will, come out. it have a better chance of staying longer with a braid base. plus it's a beautiful combination So yes! 👍
Im definitely going to try this out for this winter. Helped me solve soo many problems I was having. I do have a question. I dont straighten my hair before starting my protective styles and i was wondering if you have any pros/cons for starting out with straight hair vs curly/natural?
Nice pretty and neatly done. Do you think this method could be used on a different type of hair? Such as something thicker and bigger chunks in the hair?
Girl thanks so much for your tutorial you made this so simple and easy, every time I tried that part into two method I failed miserably it was too complicated for me.... Now I'm ready to try again lol!!!
I'm watching this at 3 a.m. knowing that I will never be able to braid my hair this way bc it's cultural appropriation, but admiring the fck out of you cuz it looks hard AF to achieve such perfection. Also you look STUNNING ✨
Technique and tutorial starts @ 5:00. Braiding @ 7:41.
Thanks for posting!! The slayage at the end! 😍
Shay girl YASSS lol thank you

Angela Terrell girl I just did my box braids and it took me two days too. My fingers were swollen at the end of each day.
OMG . She made this look TOO easy. She got my hyped up bout to go to the hair store and buy some packs.
I do this all the time and then it fails miserably.
Do you know what she did so it don't unravel?
Metro Tmoblie she dipped the ends in boiling hot water
Forreal I'm going tomorrow!

Girl same
I should've asked this a long time ago, buh can you PLEASE make a tutorial on how to PART your hair when doing twist or braids by yourself??
Shamayam Parya if your bathroom mirror is by the door just hang a hand mirror on your door and position it so you can see where your parting. That’s how I get my parts perfect.
XXShamayam ParyaXX thank i I was goin to ask the same thing

This video was really descriptive. I've done box braids on my own before and with your help this style will be fairly easy. Good job.
I recently used the same hair you used and there really isn't a lot of hair in those packs. Can't wait to reinstall mine, the only issue I have is how fast they get frizzy. But beautiful results as always
