Every new fountain ⛲️ becomes my favorite! 😂 I’m always amazed at what you find. I’m so excited that a hummingbird, a juvenile woodpecker and some creepers are finally using my fountain since I stacked some stools and put the fountain higher up by their food. I also put a giant ice cube 🧊 in during the day. They haven’t bathed in it yet but I’m hopeful. 🤞 👍🏼 Thanks for all the great ideas!!
It has been hot in my area lately, and I was wondering if putting ice cubes into the fountain was a good idea or if that was too cold for the birds, but I think this video answered my question
@@patricianepa2474 I put mine in the top tray so it melts and then goes into the inner basin. But it’s a large chunk of ice 🧊 so I think the small ice cubes should be fine directly in the main basin.
👀👀👀🥰I’m going to try this on one of those old lamps that are 6’ tall. After I remove all the electrical wires of course. 😊 Thanks for the tips and instructions 🥰
I have watched your videos for over a year. Had not watched in a while and came here to check on you and your hubby because of the fires in California. Glad to see your still helping us make fountains.
That small clay pot is so cute! I’m going tomorrow to see if Home Depot has one. Thank you , I have the first pet fountain you bought . I don’t know if birds come to it, but I purchased an indoor camera to watch it . Can’t wait
Just made my first fountain. It's so hot here that even putting ice in it and putting ice in the top later, the water still gets so warm. Not sure there's a way around this. Love your channel! 💕💕
❤❤❤ Robbie because of you i had a semi genius hack. I used a dollar store colander put inside the pot/bowl it works great I’d show a pic but can’t add one here
I ask this in an older video, but not sure you saw it. I have a 38,000 power bank and it doesn't power my fountain for 24 hours! How do you get days out of your batteries?
This is awesome love your videos, I put a water fountain for my hummingbirds beside the hummingbird feeder, but no one has showed up yet they drink from the hummingbird feeder, but not the water, is it because it’s out in the open too much, or does it need more shelter like trees in it?
Do you have any inexpensive suggestions (or a video) on how to make heated bird baths? Every winter, I miss the opportunity, so I'd like to get a head start this year and could use your advice. Thank you.
Robbie I desperately need your help! Trees ants in my hummingbird feeder 😢. I’m in Texas with hundreds of trees around my house. I have an ant moat and keep water in it. My feeder is hanging over my porch railing (about 1/2 inch). I made a shade for my feeder with a plastic plate (hangs under the moat). It is always windy. I love your videos and have made several of your fountains. Love you 😘
Hi, this is Pepe from southern California. I looked at the links, and I was wondering which is the kit that I can use with a rechargeable USB battery? Also, is there a kit that comes with extra hose? This is for My wife and my garden in Torrance.
I love your channel. One month ago I started making bird baths. Now I have finches and hummingbirds coming. O’Boy But I notice that the pumps and tubing get slimy very quickly. Is this a problem for the birds. And if so what should I do? Thanks in advance for your help.
That is awesome! Easy to clean, I like cleaning with baking soda if I feel the need to scrub, and here for the pump How to Fix Solar Powered Fountain Water Pump Not Working for Hummingbirds Bird Bath Fish Pond Garden ua-cam.com/video/y0XS06EACy0/v-deo.html
I bought mine from Walmart, and their last thing about four days. Don’t buy the ones that say they’re they are solar also, they have a solar pan on them. I’ve never had luck with those and they’re not that strong.
How do you keep the bees away? I had birdbaths always filled with fresh water so the birds had clean water for them to drink, and to bathe in. I kept feeds always filled with fresh sugar water. I was so happy watching all of them drinking, and bathing. Then the bees all but put a stop to both over the course of a couple of days. Now my back yard is deserted. I'm so devastated. But I can't have hundreds of bees around as I nerd to do things in my yard. And my neighbor is allergic to bees. I won't kill the bees as they are vital for the planet, and us humans.
How do you keep the water clean? How often do you clean the fountains? Mine are nasty after one day. I haven't had any visitors either. What am I doing wrong? 😢
if I let that sit out in the sun, the water will get warm or even hot after several hours....I would imagine one would have to change out the water daily as well...
Not sure what kind of power bank you got, but I got a good one from Walmart, and I’ve been running these fountains outside for months and they’re all running perfect❤️ if you follow what I say in my videos, you should have them running great too
I bought one from a seller on EBay and it didn’t have the faucet in it. They will not let me return it now. It will be long time before I buy anything from EBay and this seller.
Sweet birds. So much fun watching them take a bath ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All these pet fountains are fun❤

After finding your videos recently, I'm making my very own bird bath tomorrow. I can't wait!
Good for you! Have fun ❤❤❤

I really like that one. My favorite.
Good choice! But all are fun 😊❤️
Love the ice cube idea, too.
Oh my so cute!
These fountains are so fun! Hi Debbie
This is a great idea, I need to figure out how to incorporate it in my garden
Worth thinking about it 😊
I'm sure the birds love a nice cool drink and bath in the summer! Love this idea. 😊
Can you tell me what kind of power bank I should look for…..I’ve never used one before. I’m an oldie.😊😊
❤❤❤ Robbie because of you i had a semi genius hack.
I used a dollar store colander put inside the pot/bowl it works great I’d show a pic but can’t add one here
Cute to watch
Thank you
Love it!🩷 So so cute!
Thanks Robbie!
You are so welcome 😊❤️
Fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing!!
I've been buying my pet fountains from Temu, under $10 and putting
electric plug adapters on them (DT: $1.25) because I have outside electric outlets.
Perfect
Moving soon and I can’t wait to set up fountains for the birds. Also some feeders and plants.
Do you keep the original filter in it? Or do you use without filter and clean every week.
Great idea.

Thank you! I going to try this! Watched your video in West Virginia, all the best to you ❤
Do you have links for the power banks
Not sure I'm understanding
Love this idea and your enthusiasm Robbie! It's contagious. 🐦🛁❤
Thanks 😊
In my area of SoCal you don't want any standing water as mosquitos will just explode out of them. Running water is a must.
With all of this 100°+ heat this summer, we should make several of these available for the birds. 💜
So much easier than making. I'm going to invest in these. How often should these be cleaned?
Thank you , great video. I made 2 of them and no hummingbirds are going to them. 😢
Once a lot of your other wild birds use it hummingbirds will watch them and they’ll come in and use too 😊

5:25 how long is the cord with this?

I put out my pet foundation, and within thirty minutes, my house sparrows were lining up to use it 😁
What is that plastic container you poured the water in? Does it come w the pump?
Can you explain how you put the running water in it? Does the water ever run out? I see the birdies splashing
Which power bank do you recommend?

You can always use a pipe cleaner if you want to clean the tubes it’s very easy and simple to clean and it’s no big deal for the birds
Thank you
Robbie where do you get your power banks.....mine are lasting a day and they are 20,000
I bought mine from Walmart, and their last thing about four days. Don’t buy the ones that say they’re they are solar also, they have a solar pan on them. I’ve never had luck with those and they’re not that strong.
I have 2, 38,000 and they don't last a full 24 hours! I don't know what brand she uses that they last for days. I wonder if mine are bad.
Thanks......do you remember the brand@@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
Sorry didn't mean to send 3 times.....new at this
@@sueritchie7985 some can have fake claims, I have not heard of a power bank 38,000, usually they are 10,000 or 20,000

I have a 20,000 which last for about 4 days

I dump and change it every few days. Not sure how yours can get so dirty if no birds are using it? They must be using it when you are not watching.
