I think Raman was a very underrated player for India. He didn't get as much opportunity as others. His hand-eye coordination was superb. If he had had much opportunity, he would have made a lot of runs for India. His shots are very eye soothing.
There would'nt be any replacement for Kapil Dev even after one hundred years of cricket in India, India has never produced an all rounder matching his calibre and we would never see any one emerging in our life times

As soon as the commentator said Prabhakar is one of the few batsman in Indian team who scores freely I was sceptical and I was right, he just scores at a strike rate of 60 and 38 in odi and test cricket respectively and that's not batting freely by any stretch of imagination
