Got this pack recently and it’s great. There are a few exceptional profiles that nail Lynch. I did feel that it’s a little half baked on some stuff. Like the Tooth and Nail profile barely has any gain. Are we supposed to use a ts boost with it? Would’ve liked to see profiles for ‘Just Got Lucky’ and ‘Alone Again’. Then the ‘It’s Not Love’ profile is good for the intro but there isn’t one for the rest of the song. It doesn’t have enough gain. Then all the clean sounds have the weird acoustic simulator on even the Wicked Sensation profiles. Would be cool if you did a revision on this one. Great stuff either way though. Thanks

George and Mick recorded a couple of tracks for German singer Udo Lindenberg in Germany in 1982, but his tone is so different from 83 and yet unmistakably Lynch. Give it a listen.

thanks for this comment as I'm always searching for technical solos to learn to progress could you recommend some other solos that are not on everyone's radar I play everything from modern metal ,jazz ,funk and even some classical I want some ball breakers for example this week i learned stash - phish canon rock and Lenny so anything chops or just amazing chords and melodic coloring it don't have to be a shredder anyone that reads this just leave that dream song youve wanted to learn i guess
PS if you have never got a top jimi pack dont be worried hes ontop of them tones its not just the few he shows like i got the zep vh and ozzy packs and he just about did not only every known song but every known song by guitarist hes a very good sound engineer
Very nice. _Under Lock And Key_ has my favorite rock rhythm tones and _Back For The Attack_ has my favorite lead tones. Good job copping that stuff. Ever since I started seriously trying to get good tone, I've considered the effect of the speakers in the cabs as part of the equation, but more recently I've been realizing how large a part of that equation the speakers are. More than I at first thought, anyway. What's next? John Sykes? Gary Moore? And if Gary Moore, which Gary Moore?
I think I may have already mentioned this somewhere else, but I'll put it here too. Im sure you get pestered with pack suggestions all the time, but here's my short TJ wishlist: 1. Wagner ADA MP1 (Skid Row, Vito Bratta etc). 2. Def Leppard (High n Dry, Pyromania & Hysteria). Hope you consider !! Make some noise 🤘

I just watched an episode of Tone Talk featuring George Lynch and Jeff Pilson..George says than in addition to the Fostex,he ran a Rockman side chained with the amps,and just mixed a little bit in…I always thought I could hear a Rockmanesque quality to the Under Lock and Key sound….
@@TopJimiStudios That was the first time I have ever heard George mention the Rockman on that record….he said it was the rack module,and Michael Wagner rolled his eyes when he brought the Fostex and the Rockman into the studio,but after he hooked it up in parallel,and mixed it in,it sounded good….I think you are right about it being subtle,but it is definitely there…he did have a crazy rig on that record…
If you're not familiar, check out Michael Nielsen. His channel has some great info on everyone, rig wise. His zakk the shaved years tone is exceptionally exceptional. Just another info source.

I still don't have my Quad to know well how it works but i read about it a little bit in the user manual
I'm the guy who got Ken Fischer of Trainwreck amplifiers to build George his Trainwreck Express amp "Suzanne" in 1991. George sold it shortly after getting it (dumbass) as he was apparently disappointed that it wasn't a hot-rodded Marshall (?!). Premiere Guitar has a video of Suzanne and a couple of other Trainwrecks.
I used to think the ducks nuts was running 2 kempers with 2 stereo cabs, Well Georgey had THREE amps. I am not getting a third kemper to get his sound lol. Great pack Jimi

Interesting - hadn’t heard that. It must be mixed in very subtly. He had quite the rig going on that album.

My main LP has original 50’s PAFs. The Fralins are a pretty good approximation of the originals.
