I am in Israel and I see many families, including my own daughter, that an older child is asked to bring a diaper and wipes from the age of four, and at age ten, my oldest granddaughter could change a wet diaper. It depends on the age and personality of the child as to at what age the parents decide on when/what the child/ren will learn to help out in the family. Honestly men can try but they’ll never carry a human and breast feeding is hard. I have extremely sensitive nipples. To my understanding it gets worse during pregnancy and after giving birth. I already need to wear extra padding in my bras to stop the pain. I’m not planning to breast feed at all because yes I have a high pain tolerance but don’t think that’s in the best interest for me and my future child.

It’s good to include your partner in the discussion, but ultimately, the decision is up to the woman!
