Rip Mark E Smith and Rip John Peel, thanks for the memories.
The Fall seemed to have no period of conception, no uncomforable periods of growth or aimless experimenting. To life immediately and fully understanding of their art. Mark E. What a man.
Live At The Witch Trials is one of the best album titles ever
Live at the Witch Trials is one of the greatest albums ever.
cept when you think its a live album
Best band ever. Thanks Mark E
"I HAD ONLY ONE LEG , THE ROAD HADNT BEEN FIXED , I HAD TO BE HOME BY HALF PAST SIX ." THANKS MARK ..E SMITH ..
Its sad to think I can't look forward to seeing THE FALL again...They were one of the hardest working bands ever ! Thanks for all the music !!! Live and otherwise !
This is so great. If you're just finding THE FALL .... Theres a few recordings out there to keep you going. EVERY ONE IS AN EXPERIENCE ! I've been collecting there stuff since 1980 ... Of course , not everyones cuppa tea...BUT to me The GREATEST BAND EVER ! REVOLUTION MUSIC !
Never sold out! Legendary artist man, You were my favorite man and one of the greatest sounds for new minds. REST SWEET MAN. you will be forever missed. Grateful your music lives on.
great hearing Peels voice again this is the best version of Industrial Estate
Once I was twelve years old listening to this ... RIP Mark
Bye Mark and thanks for everything.
Leg End
great hearing peel in his element, presenting the fall.
one of the best sessions remember taping them on my crap system at the time so punk it fucking hurts!!
in those days john peel show was our youtube
You forgot to mention the tape recorder 😉
Got to be honest, I think you lot had it better. Culturally, the modern world is dead lol. Superhero movies and kpop and rap. That's about it. Doesnt even begin to compare with your era.
GREAT AS ALWAYS GREAT AS EVER ALWAYS & EVER
Very enjoyable and a very clear recording. I especially like "Industrial Estate". The "Futures and Pasts" reminds me of another late 70s obscure UK post punk song, "Where's Captain Kirk?" by Spizz Energi.
your best 3 on a post card...great times b4 the Internet.....👍
I saw the fall twice.if you haven't ( didn't get to see then) seeing them is like nothing i can explain.amazing obviously, and when seeing them second time Oct 17th Powerstation,NZ.,not long before he past,I thought at the time I excepted to see them and mark again and they still be doing this until he was in a wheelchair,Beer in one hand and carrying a clomostipsy bag.R.I.P good Sir
Wouldn't we all like to time warp back , and do it all again !
I was at the 2nd last gig the fall ever played.and I wish it hadn't of been ..I wanted mark e smith and co to carry on forever ..still thinking of you mark wherever you are
Mark E Smith = continually searching for the now! RIP

+Steve Coughlan Nice. What is that from?
Rebellious jukebox yeah yeah yeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!! yeah
RIP and cheers for the music.
Burns and Brammah are burning!
Great session
That version of Futures and Pasts is better than the studio one. Wow
Unübertrefflich!
Brilliant
RIP Mark
I'm searching for the now , I'm looking for the real thing yeah !
Martin Brammah is unique. No-one sounds like him. Ace.
So is the Fall's drummer at this time, Karl Burns. Brilliant.
Maybe Keith Levine in PIL?
Levene usually sounds much more musical, often playing arpeggios - don't think Bramah plays much of that style! They both feature deliberate discordance though, certainly.
Blue Orchids anyone? Ha!Ha!
Bramah was pretty damn good, how come he never didn’t much after the fall, wasted.
They sounded fucking great live. They sounded better live imho.

Typing ‘peel sessions’ into UA-cam should come with a mental health warning,
We apologise for the following music, it may have side affects of you thinking for yourself
welcome to the 21st century mate, want some more pills with that?

Drinkers from the slaughterhouse weren't happy and went out.
John Peel is God
Better than God.
Than, John helps you!
It's punk! It doesn't have to be talentfull. It doesn't have to please the audience. It's always a political statement!
not exactly a SESSION is it? band isn't playing - it's just peel playing fall wax
Hey, just thought I would point out the bands used to come in sometimes a few weeks and record live a few weeks before the programme went out live. I might be wrong on the tech but I think he would have been playing 1/4 inch tapes of the session bands in between songs on vinyl. I do know many young naive bands came in to record and never actually got to meet him, just got disappointed by meeting a load of BBC technicians. 😊
Are you the one man in the universe who doesn't know what a Peel Session is?
@@MatthewOfLondon Mark E Smith was brutally dedicated to the business of making music. He actually approved of the discipline involved in recording BBC sessions. This from 1993, I think :
"The good thing was the tension. Get in and get out. The studio was great and the engineers were fantastic. I used to experiment a lot on the Peel things. I treated it as a glorified rehearsal."
