This just proves how a low cost mod on an car that’s in reach of many people can make someone who owns super cars excited. To me that just show how good hot hatches are for the money and how much a small mod can change the character of the car!

I have a 66 plate polo GTI and just by putting an air filter on, it has really brought out the turbo whoosh noise that comes with releasing the accelerator. It also gives a little more grunt to the engine / exhaust sound I think. Hasn't affected MPG or fuel comsumption adversely either

Sounds sick bro! You did the right thing with remap and VW warranty, though I'd recommend DTUK tuning box undetectable when removed and say you're GTI was 245hp version you'd be looking at around 320hp and 360nm. ;)
Make the gti a serie on your youtube, keep modding it and film it, change wheels / performance upgrades / lowering, air suspension / ... etc would be sick to see something like this besides all the supercar stuff !

Golf GTi looks better with those 18 inch alloys than the 19 inch. Very canny how they have done that, but Golf GTi looks like a really nice and well built vehicle.
The DSG GTI does that by default by installing a new cat-back you just made it louder lol... If you tune it the burps might go away. I know the APR Stage 2 tune eliminates them for sure.
Motech Performance also I’m interested in getting the “TGE” special on my scirocco R, would it still be the same price?, since essentially the car is very similar to the Golf GTI with parts?
Always keep the original parts, which increases the selling price. Every change to this car parts have lowered the price, unless he keep the original parts.

Jeeze I really wanna just take the muffler off mine but I'm worried about warranty, my dealer said VW could try to not cover engine issues, and just try to blame it on the muffler delete.

I like that the GTI, at least here in the states is one of the few cars that is both practical, fuel efficient and super fun plus you dont look like a total tool owning one like some of the other hot hatches out there.
So... a grand for a pipercross air filter, a bit of oversize tubing, 4 ten quid each wheel spacers, removal of your standard rear box and fitting of "look good, but don't actually do anything" exhaust tips. I think you've been conned... but hey, it's your money.
Don’t spacers throw the speedometer off.. mess with fuel Economy..and a number of other things vw would say void the warranty..here in the u.s dealers are quite strict about mods on cars
LOL no. Spacers literally only act to poke the wheels out a bit (like a few mm). they do not affect wheel speed or economy at all (save adding an insignificant amount of weight to the car). There is no way a dealer would void any warranty from an intake, exhaust, and/ or wheel spacers :)
Yep the M3 LE500, was the last batch ot the E90 M3's, think they did them in the BMW individual colours of frozen white, frozen silver and Santorinio blue(or what ever it was called) which what TGE had!!
