If there's no cage, you can fit so many bags in the GT3 models, it makes for a cool sporty car road trip vehicle, but I simply can't find any GT3 in my area that doesn't have the roll cage installed.

Porsche update - the slightly ratty lapis blue 996 I got from historics in march. A few grand at nine excellence so I’m 13k in and it’s driving chuffing amazing! … might not bother with a Pandora system for it tho…
I have a 997.2 GTS prior I owned a 992 GT3 but found the ride and tramline issues on U.K.B Roads very unpleasant, I drove a 991.2 GT3 on extended three day weekend, and the ride quality was so usable compared to the 992..comfort spec is excellent choice..

might as well get out there and enjoy these cars while we can , my other half works at the DVLA and they have seen this past week the plans coming for the future of personal car ownership and they are not good . ICE cars are going to be taxed to oblivion, and thats just the begining... A damn shame. I will be holding on to my v8s until I am broke.
@@TGE We are going to be copying a lot of Pay-per-mile road tax rules that are currently in place in other countries such as Norway. What I know is coming vs what is also speculated --- annually paid tax of up to 40 pence per mile, dependent on emissions and up to a maximum of £10k per year, substantially increased road tax for non-ulez compliant vehicles. Also very strict new rules coming for MOT, including tighter emissions, and (rumoured) a new tax bracket for sport and super cars which will be yet another tax lumped in to your annual road tax. As for unconfrmed things, they are supposedly considering making all cars not fitted with speed limiters to also pay a chunk of government mandated insurance. I don't know any details on that but it sounds horrible.

I have been looking recently at moving one of my 911s to Spain for road trips as driving the uk is becoming miserable. I guess it’s the start, whoever runs the world doesn’t want us in ICE cars.
@@9MAS yes unfortunately the ultimate goal is for ICE cars to be so expensive to run that it is not worth it. There have been far more draconian rules drawn up in the past month but my partner does not have the higher up access to know everything that is coming. I forsee a very bad bear market for high end and rare supercars in the future due to these changes. all the best

They don’t make a pdk touring, & 991.2 tourings are incredibly rare with only 40 odd uk examples - thus commanding a huge premium
