Hi Jason, Great video again! Did you notice the little misunderstanding in the video? at 2:55, on a 133 heading, ATC assigns a heading of 090. At 3:13 you repeat 190. Slowly, u turn southbound heading 190. at 4:13, atc tries to confirm if you are able to a heading of 090. After that you turn heading 090... Not to point out a mistake, but to adress the fact that a mistake due to multitasking is easily made. It also shows that flight following has a purpose. Love your channel!
I got my ticket back in 1978 when I was 40 at DVT. I thought PHX. TRAS was a pain, there is no way I could handle class B. Thanks for the VDO, I enjoyed the ride.!!!👍🏻
Fantastic video Jason, I loved the real-time aspect of just having us travel along with you through the whole process and the uncountable freq changes. Hope to see you at OSH19...
I enjoyed the animation portions which help explain how it's possible to fly so close to a class B airport while not actually needing clearance since you're not in the airspace
Lots of trouble hearing your comments when ATC speaks over you when they are communicating with other traffic....not sure there is a solution to that as things are pretty saturated....great video regardless.....thanks.
As long as you’re in contact with atc, in this case being vectored, you can fly through the disney or stadium tfrs. I believe the security tfr’s are only for Loitering aircrafts not in contact with atc but please correct me if I’m wrong
Another great video Jason. Would you have been treated any differently flying IFR (other than staying out of the clouds of course)? Autopilot sure makes it easier.
Question about the TruTrak (since I am looking to install one shortly)! It looks like you are using it to fly ATC assigned headings. As I understand it, the TT will fly tracks but not headings and maybe without much wind it isn’t a factor. Have there been any issues with flying tracks vs. headings?
Wake turbulence scares the 💩 out of me. How did that factor in for you with the landing traffic ahead of you? Did you touch down after him? You seemed to touched down early. Was there enough cross wind to disrupt the wake? What do you think?
Excellent video. Could you by chance do a video briefing the Orlando VFR sectional? I was following along in ForeFlight and am pretty blown away with all the different air spaces. It looks like as you approach Orlando it starts with class C, then moves into class B. Inside the class B I see regular class E, class E to the Surface. Kissimmee has class D. I'm guessing the higher air space trumps the lower class? So if you are in a class B within a class E, you would abide by the class B? What if you enter from the south into the Class C, but want to go to Kissimmee? I would think you would contact Orlando for the Class B, but when do you change over and call Kissimmee to establish radio contact? Do you ask the class B permission first?
@@MzeroAFlightTraining Thanks! I'm loving your ground school. Will def be signing up after my trial runs out. I like how you go over the charts that are actually on the test. I used a competitor and was having to watch random videos on youtube until I found your channel.
Jason, How much were your landing fees (or how much fuel did you need to purchase and rate) to land at MCO? I've been considering flying into KDEN for the experience and want to compare costs. Thanks, Bryce
Main lesson here: dont go to those busy intls bravo airspaces or you will be kicked about everywhere before you are finally squezzed in short final to the numbers. B airspaces are mainly for the airliners and pvt jets... So yeah, stay in the other less stressfull airspaces. Nice video though...
Hello! From experience, this is very true. ATC has to work very hard to fit slower aircraft into their sequence. It's great experience to go into a class B to test your skills on the radios and situational awareness. You'll pay way less in ramp fees and have a lot less stress if they are just avoided. Thanks for the comment!
@@MzeroAFlightTraining True! Unfortunately sometimes is soo much traffic... Some areas even saturated for ATC, wich is a big test for students. By the way great videos and allways great explanation of all concepts from your part. Greatly done!
Only criticism I have, everything else great, your voice blended at times with that of the controller, making it difficult to follow what was going on.
There are subtitles of my audio on the video if you turn on closed captions to help. But that is Bravo life not much I could do there. It's non-stop talking
Great video! The animations are incredibly helpful in understanding the airspace. You look like you need some company up there. I would be willing to help you out with that...you're just a hop, skip, and a jump from Gainesville.
I enjoy your tone during these in flight videos. The classroom stuff is way too much emcee/ presenter/ radio personality voice. Just use your normal speaking voice. Much better
Jason I worry about you doing these complex heads down in the cockpit videos alone. Besides flying in a complicated situation, you're also teaching, and I wish you had someone watching out for traffic with you, even though you are with flight following.....
In the video he has eyes outside quite a lot. As anyone should. Seems like he’s only heads down when he needs to be. He flew very similar to how we do in the 121 world. If you’re IFR in VMC you’re still responsible for see and avoid, even in an airline jet. He’s got ForeFlight with traffic, with ATC, pretty good visual scanning. Highly professional and capable. Granted having another crew member on board is always a great idea but not always needed when you’re buzzing around in a little GA airplane. I’d feel cool as a cucumber sitting in the backseat of his plane. 🤷🏻♂️
Styling in this video Jason...like Don Johnson...club oxford (pressed) with shorts, no socks, closed toe sandals 😎, no sweat (quite a feat in Florida this time of year).

Hi Jason. Still curious about your thoughts
I mean if he responded 190 back to ATC they should have corrected him and said 090
@@kristofkopecky5723 No he correctly read back 090 to the controller but then repeated 190 in the video.
Man, I dont think ill ever be ready or interested in going into class B. Great vid
Awesome non-edited, real-time landing into Bravo. Great landing, too (not much of a flare!)
are you SURE you want to tell Jason his 172 "flared" at all? lmao
Dude doesn't flare...he transitions. LOL.

We'll be there!
Hey Jay, the qualities of the videos are so good.
So in conclusion... you better be on your “A” game when it comes to communication if you are thinking about flying in Class Bravo.
Awesome work Jason... love the real time flight.. Do it myself it works wonders for others to understand.
LOVING these longer videos!
Great video! I liked that the MCO controllers talked at a slower pace. My fear in class B is that the controllers will talk super fast.
Great lesson, Jason!
I landed at MCO years ago in a SR20 and it was a cool ride in. Vid on my channel.
Ops were a little slow during our arrival.
Thanks Jason, I wish you was here in Kansas to train me, man you make it look so easy to flying and dealing with ATC.
Great job
Another great video Jason, super busy frequency and had trouble hearing what you were saying.
I agree, it became difficult to continue.
So much for landing long to avoid the wake lol. Didn’t repeat cleared into the bravo back. Didn’t give callsign at least once.
I enjoyed the animation portions which help explain how it's possible to fly so close to a class B airport while not actually needing clearance since you're not in the airspace
Thank you! The team has worked very hard on those. It's great to see it in a 3d space
Good stuff. I became a ground school member after my free trial.
Awesome thank you my friend! Hope to see you on the mock checkride webinar tonight
Great flight learn a lot on air space bravo .
Glad we could help! Thanks for watching, Oscar!
Awesome video, Very Helpful, great service to the student and, remember we are all learning till the day we die.
Thank you!!!
Kudos to the controllers, they all did a nice job handling things. Do your IFR ground schools also include in cockpit lessons?
They sure do my friend! Grab the 2 week trial in the video description and check it out no strings attached.
That was very interesting, I need to tune my ear for a busy airport, working on it. I am getting my checkride soon.
Thanks for the take-along Jason.
Great video. Loved the commentary. Helped a lot. Thanks
good job jason cant wait to see you again at osh kosh
Did enjoy watching this video indeed! thank you Jason

Outstanding. !!!!!!

That was real nice jason, real enjoyed
I enjoy your videos Jason! Keep ahead...I have a little sad, because have finished my time in your member website! =/
Shouldn’t you be higher on the approach to avoid the 757 wake turbulence?
Jason rocks it again
4:40 Great graphics!
Hello ! Great video ! Can I have you’re gopro setting in the cockpit ?
These are the videos I love.
Excellent video. Shared on our website.
Thank you my friend!!!
Will approach clear you into the bravo or typically the tower
Oh hey, we've flown into Leesburg a few times in our Piper Lance 2. Nonstop flight from KCAK in Ohio. That's a long flight lol
Very long flight!!!
Yeah... if that wasn't busy, hate to be there when it is....
hard to hear when radio speaking too :-/
Thanks for all you do! I hope to be Solo'd by August

When landing behind a heavier plane you want to stay above him and then land after he touches down.

Jason, what camera mounts do you use, and how many cameras are on board?
Go Pro mounts with the surface prepared correctly. We typically have 4 to 6 cameras mounted.

This is real world stuff. You have to get used to it if you want to be a pilot
@@MzeroAFlightTraining When piloting the airplane only one person is speaking at a time. The video has two, the radio and the instructor.

A bit too much nonessential chatter- kind of bothersome at times.
You are being talked over (not good for training)
