If I had a nickel for every time Donnie Yen played a blind gyy with great fighting skills, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
@@brianlopez8970 it's cause it's a callback to a classic japanese character, zatoichi the blind swordsman it's sorta like characters being callbacks to the man with no name from the dollars trilogy
I'm loving the blind martial artist thing that Donnie Yen busts out from time to time. It was awesome in Rogue One and it is awesome here. I think he enjoys it as a way to challenge himself as a performer. Either way, I hope he keeps doing it.
1:40 Pennywise becoming anxious and concerned as he can hear the boss music getting louder and closer, he knows he can’t beat his upcoming rivals the Boogeyman or Ip Man because he no longer has his eating ability to counter their martial arts and pencils.
Basically that how many times do we have to teach you a lesson old man meme from spongebob...but seriously though John literally massacred the whole Russian mob in new york in the first movie just for that reason besides his car being stolen😅
"Curious about how lethal Caine from John Wick 4 would be if he could see? Check out Donnie Yen in Flash Point! His performance there shows off his incredible martial arts skills, combining speed, precision, and power. Watching how flawlessly he executes mixed martial arts in Flash Point gives a glimpse of just how deadly Caine could be with his vision intact in John Wick 4. When I heard about Donny Yen’s character before this movie, I asked my dad if he was blind or not. It feels like he is always the blind assassin if it’s Star Wars or John Wick.
I have a buring question about these John Wick chapters. Who does this organization fight, exept thier own hitmen? I have watched all of them but it seems that they only kill each other. What's the purpose of thier organization?
Caine's character is so dumb, seriously a blind assasin... like I could of understood if he was partially blind etc but it simply is unreleastic for him to be able to operate with any degree of skill or even more importantly not dying, all it would take is for someone to pull a gun out quietly in front of him and hes dead
There's nothing realistic about John Wick. It's an action franchise and it's darn fun to watch. Donnie Yen oozes cool, and he's ridiculously fast and entertaining. We don't watch the movies because they're realistic, we watch them for the spectacle.
@@SvenTheShoeBuyer ehh see the thing is with each movie they got more and more crazy/unbelievable, the first was just in the realms of believablyity that you could really see an criminal underground world functioning that way And all the technology etc was not to out there
@@MrShadow8869 Maybe so, but the first movie was the most boring in my opinion. Basically just gun-fu. I think they got progressively better. But I'm an action movie junkie and don't care about the 'believability factor' haha. I'm a martial arts movie nerd, so when they brought in Mark Dacascos, the guys from 'The Raid' (in JW3) and Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror (in JW4) etc, that upped the ante IMO.
The dog pissing on him was the cherry on top 😂😂
"You hit my puppy."
He had coming
All I wanted to know is if that is in post 😂
The whole theatre I was in started laughing 😂
I cannot get over Donnie Yen's slide down the clobblestone. Holy hell was that smooth
Imagine falling down those stairs for weeks just to get to perfect take..
" i've been falling for 15 minutes "
Killing John Wick: $40 million dollars.
John Wick saving your dog: Priceless.
Put Caine in choke hold....well that was dumb? Now he definitely knows where you're at?
Donnie Yen is just a beast. Glad he finally got a big Hollywood roll, he steals the screen in every movie he's in.
If I had a nickel for every time Donnie Yen played a blind gyy with great fighting skills, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I don't understand the blind thing either. Like that would never work at all in a combat situation.
@@brianlopez8970 Nothing in the John Wick universe would work in a combat situation.
@socalrefrigeration548 oh I agree. You gotta suspend reality for most of the movies but a blind guy is a bit much to suspend.

I liked the small detail when Caine shot a man in the face close to his own face. Caine was swiping his hands through the blood in the air.
Tracker saw john saved his dog. He knows the pain in losing a beloved friend. Im glad tracker repaid the favor

That nickel comment is hilarious!😂
Good thing Caine keeps a pencil on hand for situations like this
The fighting, the characters, the dialogue, the pure rizz of these two men haha the music as well, these movies are just awesome
Best friendship in movie history
You would think after 4 movies, the bad guys would have learned to be nicer to dogs.
