In 41:00 why do you charge around the dude? As long as you don't leave his Engagement Ranger (and you wanted to charge both regardless) you can freely move within it during the charge action.
RE: Blast not getting cover, I read it as the whole "attack happening within 2 inches means no cover" rule overriding cover as the reason for the Blast ruling. The "attack" for blast is technically happening within 2" since it's something exploding on the original target
In turning point two, you fired your grenade launcher at his confidant. You rolled 4 dice for the attack when you should have only rolled 3 dice. The guardsman at the door is on engage and your cover lines cross his base. If there is a model between you and your target you lose 1 attack dice in Into The Dark
I personaly plays Blooded guys a lot now. And I really like them. Last store championship I went draw (vs Dark Elves), lose by 1 point (vs. Legionaries) and lose by 1 point (vs Legionaries). Now the fun fact... 1st game I misread the Rout so I did not score 1 VP from it to win a game :D 2nd game my opponent went so fast to activate his own operative that so I could not react to killing his Leader with Headhunter and when I asked him about "play my tac ops" he responded "NO, I want to win". 3rd game was "normal" without any mistakes :D
Awesome video as always! I love the Into the Dark content. You should move your webcam a little higher above your dice tray. That way the dice would not roll out of focus so often. And we should still be able to see them.
Thanks! Ah because the dice tray is a wierd rounded rectangle, I can't as the borders would show up. Just need a square bright green felt one but non exist ):
With torrent, most importantly (at least with my understanding), you “can” make a shooting attack - so you don’t have to. Considering how torrent range works, even if initially all potential enemies would be valid, after making second torrent attack some target could lose their initial validity, so you are choosing in which way direct torrent of fire 😊
I thought all models were removed after all shots/attacks from torrent were resolved to prevent the lose of a valid target. Edit: Step 7 of the Shoot Action; removing incapacitated models. Any operatives that were incapacitated are removed from the killzone after the active operative has finished making all of its shooting attacks for that action. very rarely would you want to forgo any extra shooting attacks from an AoE attack.
@@laughingmute608 it is true. but each target of torrent attack has to be within 2'' from ALL previous targets. So if you have initial target in the center and potential targets, one 2'' to the left and other 2'' to the right, if you will go as second target with left one, right one will no longer be valid target because one of previous targets is more than 2'' from it. I had this in mind when I was talking about losing validity :) So it blast-like usage has more limited range, but you can avoid friendly fire (if you have your guy in there you might not want to attack it - with blast you have no choice).
I've seen people have success if they install the caps before priming and painting the walls - that way the inside of the caps and the joins on the walls stay bare plastic and keep their original thickness (which was already a super-tight fit.
I think that I even overdo it little bit withh mine - I kept inside of cups clean, I masked tops of walls, where caps go for priming (I have even trim them just a little bit) and I applied grease to inside of cups - with all of that they can be even to loose sometimes
Can the vet guard perform the free dash ploy if there is no open hatch ? He cannot get closer to the opponent drop zone as you cannot measure through wall …
I've had a look through the rules but don't think I got an answer, can the Vet Spotter use his mortar barrage in the space hulk. Not any logic to it but is there a rule that says no? It is a blast weapon with no range and a silent profile, very good for door camping.
I thought the Blast interaction with Cover was that a Conceal order wouldn't save you.... if Blast makes it so you cannot retain a Cover save, then why does the Balefire Acolyte's Fireblast spell have the Blast AND No Cover rules?
Why do you change into top down view while showing the teams? Would be nice to get a better view on your minis (and your paint jobs, they look nice!) and your operator choices. Sure, you say "one Confident, one Plasma Gunner..." and so on, but I would prefer to see them. But enough of this typical german grumbling, sorry for that. Really nice Report, thanks for that!
You can open doors mid move and then use the rest of your movement range on the other side of the now opened door
Love the Glass Half Dead objective markers lol
They're weathering powder proof too 🤣

Bit of a brain fart on my end as it was recorded back to back with another batrep 😅
very interesting to see such similar teams battle it out. The Granate Launch was a one in a million hit.
18:00 the reason there is no cover save even though there's cover is bc the blast is coming from 2" away and 2" range would break cover I believe
Ah thanks, that nakes a lot of sense now haha
its also the rule basic rule of blast

Yeah we realised at the end, would have just had to target 1 of the 2 in front for a similar effect
I'm more determined than ever to main Blooded in both ITD and open boards.

Ceaseless is just reroll 1s i believe, why did Crit reroll everything other than 6 on 24:32? I believe result was 1 2 2 6
Ah, my bad, made a mistake there. Sorry 😅
OOHHHH YESSS A great match up, like trench night raiders on Vraks. Awesome to see Blooded on the table :)
FOR THE CARDINAL AND THE DARK GODS
Hopefully for a trench terrain box soon to recreate that properly haha
@@CanYouRollaCrit OMG that would be EPIC :D

Loved seeing the blooded doing well 👍
They love ITD haha
