Small note, but Cruel Deception needs to be used when the operative is activated, so you can't fight, then decide to use it to fall back cheaper, unfortunately
In the 22:00min the Elixicant Hatch Fights whilst on conceal and remains in conceal. I’ve overlooked this distinction so many times haha I’ve been giving engage orders to my operatives to get into range for hatchway fights without needing to. 🤦♂️ lol
The lack of cover in IttD allways seed weird to me... Probably the Boards would be more balanecd with the Soulshakle extra terrain providing some more cover.
One thing, you cannot roll to cancel wound with the elixicant drugs when it's not a damage dice. You cannot roll mortal wounds because they are applied before you retain dices for damage. It's not Feel No Pain.
@@CanYouRollaCrit honestly it's really misleading, rules become very complex with those slight variations... The Archsybarite should have died which could have turned the outcome of the battle.
I may be wrong but i think at 12 mins, from above it doesnt seem like there is visibility from the original target to the demo man since he is behind the access point wall despite being within blast range. Hard to tell from above though.
Indirect just treats you as not being in cover for line of sight purposes, not for actual cover. He was standing more than 2" out to avoid blast so crit got to retain a cover save.
@@codemac1992 blast ignores cover as far as I know. Only the initial target gets cover (if eligible). The other targets don't get cover bc the shot is being treated as coming from the initial target (who is within 2" of the subsequent attacks, negating cover).
Yup, Charles used the indirect rule (blue range on ITD) which ignores cover but only for Line of Sight purposes, so basically just means I still get shot while concealed behind cover
For casual play, random terrain on open boards is fine, but in competition you really need some consistency. Especially if you’re going to look at team performance for play balance. Maybe not specific terrain sets (but why not, that’s what we got with Warcry) but strongly suggested layouts that can be simulated with more generic terrain pieces.
Wow, taking the medic ability after removing the piece from the board, after you already resolved the re-roll and the dash from the pain tokens, in order to just fuck over your shredder gunner? Super poor sportsmanship IMO. He should have offered to let you take back the re-roll if that's how it was going to go. I personally, against a competitive opponent like Charles, said "you've removed the piece and chosen not to use the medic at this point." He's done something like this to you before.
Nah it was my fault for missing it. If I had noticed the medic during the attack roll, then yeah, but it was mainly my fault for missing it first when attacking
Love to see your Hand of the Archon in action ❤
Thanks, I love playing them aha

Ohhhh, that is a big requirement! Not as good then vs vet guard 😅

Yup, you only need engage orders for charging and going on guard (:

The Crit Ops update allows the use of scatter terrain but no one use it sigh

Oh you're right, damn that's crazy

What is the name and type of laser you use to see the range of weapons?
It's a line laser I got from Luster's Workshop (:

Ah he was visible, just the birds-eye angle does weird things haha
@@CanYouRollaCrit Carry on then! The shredder on itd is absolutely bonkers. This team is very strong
Yup, Shredder with rending is crazy 🤣
@@CanYouRollaCrit Why can't the corsair gunner receive the same treatmen? :(
How did that Dark Eldar on Objective 1 have cover from an Indirect Frag Grenade?

hi
where did you get those objective markers?
I got them on Etsy a few months ago (:
Hand of the Archon looks so strong.
They are, especially on open boards!
What was the laser device you used at 7.44? I've tried looking up "laser line pen" and it's not really giving me results :(
It's the army painter line laser (:
how did the elixicant did the hatchway fight on TP2 while being on conceal? around min22
You can still do fight actions while on conceal. Moved within range of the hatch point and did a fight action
You cannot charge in conceal. But you can fight
Does the FNP work on mortal wounds, I find the wording really strange compared to the death guard rule.
Yup, all DPRs work on mortal wounds
How the guardsmen player is using more than 1 grenades? Isn't it limited to one indirect weapon per kill team?
Btw awesome vids keep it up!
Only 1 of each grenade, so he has 1 frag and 1 krak (:
Wow. No ITD love at all. 🌚 I prefer the fixed terrain layout. But it really changes the game for sure.
I'm growing in it but still too much of a difference in not a great way vs normal play. Hopefully season 3 is implemented in a better way

Are you 2 alright? Sounds like you're almost falling out over a game at various points. Had to stop watching because it just socks the fun our of it.
We're fine, we really enjoyed the game and even said so in the post game chat
