Great stuff! I'm planning on using my Necromunda Zone Mortalis walls instead of buying the Into the Dark setup, so to see it done so well is reassuring.

Cool little scrap with just standard dudes, no superhumans here. Interesting to see the Tau, mostly because they're definitely not an infantry faction in 40k so they lack weapon options for them. Rail rifles and ion guns and a small selection of pulse weapons is pretty slim pickings vs. even the Guard with meltas, flamers, plasmas _and_ knowing the windmill punch is not an effective CQC technique. I do wonder if a combo Kill Team of Pathfinders and Stealth Suits would work better? Get some nice staying power and heavier guns on the table?
I think I spotted another notch against Kill Team vs. Necromunda where the Drone Controller ran in to melee only to get punched in the mouth. You'd have to be extremely desperate to do so, because not only are you risking bottle checks and Nerve tests, you're also risking injuries or death and thus XP for your enemy!
I think the stealth suits are the compendium crew. I do have some that need painting. They play closely to the lore. Lots of ranged threats but this particular setup eliminates vantage points. Plus dice rolls were a bit whacky for both sides. Multiple 3 crit shots which is tough damage to sustain

Hey, I'm new to kill team. What allows the sniper to switch his order in 8:35? I thought you can't switch orders on the first turn. Maybe I'm wrong
The scouting phase 🙂 The infiltrate ability allows you to change one order in the first turning point.

@@MiniatureGameMontage I was pouring over the rules to figure out how you did that.
A side thing I felt like pointing out is that the VG sniper's shooting action has the silent rule if you are only using a dash for movement. Meaning; could've kept the conceal order, make a dash action and still shoot.

No you remove a marker light at the end of each turn. So moving out of sight to prevent getting more and let them tick off was the idea.

Since whem a sniper does 4MW on a crit? Also coulden't he just dash? the sniper can dash and still shot as using silent.
Why not atack witht the spotter using his blast atack?
Time stamps would definitely help. Regardless, I’m very casual and mainly play games with my son. Our reports are for entertainment and while we try to get everything right we often don’t. Thanks for watching.

@@Garret_M Got it. On that initial one I just misspoke. Should be 3MW and the additional damage to take him out. On this spotter I’m just not totally there yet tactically. I heavily rely on the community to help us get better so I appreciate you doing that.

Too bad you can't fire From cover when the opposition leaves their cover. "Attack of opportunity" would have been a different game. being a bad roller myself I feel the pain of swing and a miss. Lol thanks for the battle. Death corps is strong I still favor tau if they had reflex or bombed corners, or pushed, dice permiting.
