One good thing about winning world's fair for the extra culture is that in this game, if you take autocracy, you don't have a coastal city to build Prora for the extra social policy
I just finished my first portugal game, with the mighty Huns neighbor. This hardhead war’ed me twice, sank my cargo ships, let china go 296 technique. I almost failed science victory.
Your simcity gameplay is top notch but I think you should focus workers/roads more as tool for warfare, just a few roads leading north along the citadel (while also repairing the citadel) would've made taking zurch trivial. Also a capturing city is always worth it imo no matter what lux they have, deity AI's will pay hundreds of gold per turn for any city bordering them

@@KeithBoehler the best part is you can raze and then immediately sell. You'll get no science or culture penalty. The AI will likely cancel the razing afterwards.
If you are having gold trouble like in the game you can place units into the cities so they are free +1 gold each and you can sell units that you dont need (+1gold and +some money for them). You could also pillage enemy fields like from Zürich to gain some money. Also using the great artist to start a golden age gives you more gold per round.
It is a shame that the tech tree renders some units useless. The longswordman is pretty useless, same with riflemen and great war infantry. They are located at points where a better version of the unit is available too soon for you to use the old version. Then there are units like the marine which are a gimmick, but worse than infantry and paratroopers. I think the marine should have had 75 or 80 combat strength to make them useful, and space out where unit upgrades are a bit better.
Is part 4 ever coming? :(
Woooo keep these videos coming my man. I love watching them with my coffee :D
"City states do not attack cities." When you were playing Mongolia city state captured and raised your city hahaha
1:11:00 because of your citadel you put down in Harar, it automatically hooked up the aluminum as a tile improvement.
Looking forward for this series: literally what was hoping 🎉
What a chaotic mid-game, diplo at its finest doing its dirty work here 😂
Can't wait for part 4 of this one.
It's like watching an artist paint on a canvass.
Only just discovered your channel, I'd be bummed if there's never a part 4
The goat is back!

Exciting!!!!!!!
All great person improvements count as improvements to luxes and strategic resources.

I once had like 20 tiles next to a river with the most ridiculous hydroplant.
34:30 RIP Pagoda in Lalibella
How to get those extra view of other civs on right side of the screen ?
Why not build the porcelain tower ? It was within reach am I wrong ?
Lublin is 'looblin', and Wroclaw is 'vross-loff'.
I feel like it was kind of a fumble not to run all your units past Kilimanjaro for that sweet movement bonus.
