How many presenters can pull off arguing with geese and still produce informative journalism. Always enjoy Nicolas style and could watch her all the time oh wait I do, might need to get out more. Keep up the good work ❤
I had 3 Peugeot’s as company cars. They got driven “well” around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, in all weathers. Not once did I have a problem.
seven seater family hauler (because you cant have adults in third row) and you only two isofix points.. they entirely killed the reason why people were buying old 5008
I politely disagree with those saying this doesn’t work for kids. I’ve had an estate EV for 3 years, taken it to Europe and Ireland every year, do the basics and more with a range nowhere near as generous as the 5008. We are a family of 5. That said, our EV is our only car and any time we have family/friends visit us, we struggle with space and, thus, trips are not possible. That extra row of seats at a reasonable price has me so excited about this EV
Im personally waiting for the HEV version but I just wanted to say how charming and lovely your review was! I've watched a lot of reviewers on the new 5008s and yours was by far my favourite! Subscribed and liked! Keep up the amazing work!
Oh yes, someone rating the car for why you want a car. Space, daily use etc, not the accelration. A very good presentation of cars after looking at some episodes.....so I also subscribed! Have a lovely day!
Informative Review. The Peugeot 5008 has always been a good SUV for families. We had a 2.0 litre version many years ago which was faultless. We'll be seriously considering the 4 wheel drive version as our first EV against the Kia and Hyundai. Cool car😎!
The interior in this looks better and has less glossy black plastics than the new Audi Q6 E-Tron, never thought I would say that but well down Peugeot 👏
I drove it and loved it. That infotainment was the best. I also tested Skoda Enyaq and Nissan Aiyra. Good cars but they lose it when it comes to the screen. I wait for the 320PS model because I want to have a little more power. But nobody knows when it will come and how fast it will go. 😪
I think squishy brakes are a thing with Stellantis BEVs. I have driven a couple of different Stellantis brands and non of them had nice positive feeling brakes.
You don't need 7 adults for the next time FYI. Here is a simple test "is this a family car?": put two child seats on the second row and try to seat between them.
The lack of isofix points is a total dealbreaker. I have three young kids and the old 5008, and I need those fittings. What were they thinking removing them?
How does Stellantis tend to do with Right hand drive? Some cars have slightly odd driving positions and glove boxes half full of fuses. Also, ~£45k for the 3008 is already bonkers, it's not much better given this thing will need the duel-motor if you actually have 7 in it.
Just for you Nicola, and you asked nicely. A comment 😅. I do not understand why they have a screen you press to get the results in another screen. They could have just had some lovely climate dials or screen for that alone.
Fun review and I liked a couple of the production techniques with multiple Nicolas. If the price point is right as suggested then this really is worth considering if you have all those ankle biters. For those of us without children or who have not yet thrown away the chest wig and gold medallions this is pretty dire. But back to price, if they have got the price point right this should beat some of the present incumbents. I just hope I do not have to drive one.
Definitely my favourite and in my opinion the best electrifying presenter. Just a wonderful way of making the details interesting which only a fraction of motor channel journalists can do. However, in this case the impact of the butty bribe is clear to see, I am glad that clear bias was admitted on camera along with photographic evidence of the ensuing gluttony.
This car basically only has 1 competitor: Kia EV9 + Good price, very good range compared to the EV9 - No one pedal drive. - No LFP battery, which allows you to charge to 100% on a daily base. EV9 also does not have LFP battery. - No proper EV only dedicated platform I would still go for the EV9 because one pedal drive is really a game changer.
@@MykolaDzham True, the choices for a 7 sitter EV are really limited at the moment. Hopefully Kia will come with a 7 sitter EV7 similar in size as the e-5008.
@@ferrariforever1 Would be cool but I doubt ... Volvo EX90 when it will finally come will be 5 meters (and even more expensive). Hyundai will also come with IONIQ 9 at some point, but it will be most likely about 5 meters too. Tesla Model Y 7 seater is not available in Europe. The only comparable car today is Mercedes EQB that is ugly by many params because it is just GLB with the petrol engine replaced by electric motor.
Love the appearance of the interior but only on the photo/video. Seems very restrictive. The taller you are the tighter it will be. Also I liked the last gen of Peugeot design more. The new face looks like its sniffing its way down the road. And lastly we need a sausage dog for a reference of available space and volume. Make it happen Nicola! Thanks~
Not really sure what is meant by 'If you're of the taller variety'? I've had a 3008 and currently in a 5008, and I'm 6 foot 7. The smaller streering wheel is fantastic for me, as my knees dont get wedged between the steering wheel and the centre console which happens in most cars, and I can see the screen over the top of the steering wheel fine,
Nicola Hume talking to ducks....love it! Classic! Love her reviews, never a dull moment. Informative, but thanks to Nicola's charactor i'm never bored by the facts and figures in the reviews.
Strange to be more compromised than the last model. We seem to be going backwards. I also much prefer an open ‘walkthrough’ cockpit - super practical. Easier to clamber through to the back or passenger seat if needed and stretch out. It’s not for me.
I just bought and had my new E3008 GT delivered on Monday. I love it, nice design, incredibly easy to control, and you sit super nice in it. AND everything about it not being able to run fast enough because of the weight is nonsense in my eyes. When and why should you be able to go from 0 to 62 miles in 4 seconds?
For safer overtakes, merging, general pleasure of driving. 4 driven wheels is greater traction in wet/slippery conditions. Power feels premium and people like that
@paulswanenburg7445 because you never see people in underpowered Honda civics or astras doing the same. A moron will be a moron regardless of their car.
As an American who owns two electric vehicles, I get angry at EV bashers who claim we can’t buy decent quality, moderately priced battery-powered vehicles. If we could buy cars from Peugeot, Renault, Skoda, etc., we would have much better choices without turning to the dreaded C**nese. From what I have heard about the Skoda Enyaq, my wife and I would have bought one instead of the VW ID.4 we own if we had been able to buy a Skoda. It’s discouraging to watch reviews of these cars and see what we are missing. I hope this note helps the algorithm.
The size is good for me as I loose 2/3rds of my rear seat in my sportage. To accommodate my mobility scooter and crane. Not having the 6th and 7th seat is no problem to having a full rear seat. Hopefully it will be a mobility choice in 2026 when I change car's.
Other EV channels tell us we're silly to want more than 400 miles of range. I like that you prefer that, but I think it would be worthwhile twerk circulate why you feel that 400 miles of range is worthwhile.
Nicola is presenting a vehicle not available over on this side of the pond? I'm watching regardless.. 🙂 This thing is massive and a little under powered. Lets hope its efficient (for its size that is) with that massive battery..
Stellantis is lacking significant offerings in North America. The larger battery version with dual motors would have a chance here, I think, but it would need to be re-badged as a Dodge or Chrysler.
Dear Mr Al Gorithum I love this channel.

Also all three seats do not move independently, only reason we went for it over the Kodiaq.
Good point, I loved the isofix in the middle!
I also miss the tables to the back of the front seats.
Just looking at the 5008 and 3 isofix across the 2nd row was its main USP. Cannot believe they got rid of it.
Completely agree. For families, in my opinion, a second row with three independent rear seats is the most important thing
Removal of center isofix is a big fail as it was there previously and useful
The interior design from Peugeot is always amazing!
Great as usual, to get a gander at a new car. Your enthusiasm is boundless, again. Lovely route for the drive, too.

So far I’ve watched a few of your videos , and have enjoyed your work keep it up please.
Here is a coment for Nicola keep her job 'cause she's very good at it.
Great energy and entertainment Nicola. That's my two cents contributed to keep Nicola on this channel 😂
Peugeot are really stepping up their game for the EV market.
In your opinion.

I’m just here for the algorithm and I’ll be on me way, thank you very much 😁
Great review been waiting for this car
This ev have big potential for sure.
Btw you are a top yt reviuwer.

Ah, the Nicola triplets... Always with a nice review!
I think squishy brakes are a thing with Stellantis BEVs. I have driven a couple of different Stellantis brands and non of them had nice positive feeling brakes.
I'm getting EV9 vibes on the design but it's one of Peugeot's best of recent years, love the interior too.

good car its time to increase the size of my family. im very impressed with this family car
I enjoyed watching the video review 😊
Great review! I drive the e-berlingo xl but range is an issue. Will check this out when arrives but at 6'4 worry about drive position
I’d still buy an EV9 lol
Well you probably only need one for emotional support, surely your appendage can't be that tiny.😮
Isn’t it really expensive. It is striking on the road. Looks about 50k
It costs 20k-30k more and looks like shit lol
I found the EV9 v plasticy and sub inside. Much more powerful vehicle, of course. Compromises, I guess. But 30% price difference.
Very nice reviews.

This was an EV first platform...they ended up having to re-engineer an ice version due to the market not being strong enough to support ev only.
