Framed Blocks also has a lighting feature. Right clicking glowstone onto a framed block with cause it to glow putting out the same light level as a torch. That way you can light up your entire base the way you want with out detracting from the build by over placing light sources.

protip for framed blocks: any framed block can be slapped with a glowstone dust, and they turn into a lamp. in this build there are tons of framed blocks already, but of course you're not limited to that. wherever you need more light, just use a basic framed block to replace any full block.
Have you considered productive trees as a mod to add? It offers a wide variety of very awesome textured logs and planks that would blend in with your builds very nicely. And it is fun to make the saplings cause it has its own progression to get the more unique ones.

With the elevators I always like using multiple of them to create a 2x2 or 3x3 elevator area. This way it's easier to use them and not miss them by one block :'D
These chisel/Chppied Block (Lab,Factory) are the best, every time I played a newer Modpack I wass really annoied, since these blocks are essential for any kinda modern/industial loock adn a good Storage Rack for AE2

It's forced me to slow down and I honestly love it. Same with this series too; don't feel obligated to make a ton of progress every episode; watching you slow down and not focusing entirely on progression is more entertaining in my opinion.

If only you built this on 1.20.4 instead of 1.20.1, we could have had immersive portals and seemlessly walked through various passageways that just look like a doorway/hallway but lead to a different base/dimension/floor/etc

I was moving machines to my new base with the Cut and paste tool, but when i cut my powah reactor setup my game crashed and when i try to open the world my game just crashes again. Do you know how i could fix this?
It is a research facility after all so I wanted to make sure my employees focus on nothing but the task at hand... Can have them looking at the floor all day 😉
If the mod pack was updated in the last 12/24 hours there is something wrong with it. Something is causing many people to not be able to play. Loading into a world gets stuck on 0% and then crashes after freezing

Been playing your packs for a while now, and since the Chosen's adventure there's a problem I don't if it's fixable, but it is happening on this pack too: The skyweave block. I would love to use it on my builds, they work fine normally, but with the shaders on, they simply disappear, it is just me that have this problem ? Thank you for the consistently good content !
I think i over-corrected when it comes to base building. previously when doing modded i always just tossed everything down. This time i build an island that i still need to work on.
my eye sights too poor to see the finer details of textures, so whenver i do attempt to build, I go with solid colours moslty. or framed sort of blocks . like the caution stripes or such
People out there wondering and debating how to make their builds prettier, meanwhile I'm just sitting here in a hijacked Airship Village cramming everything in as little space as possible after disabling all the purely decorative mods. 😅

I remember back in 1.12 i used to use the ender io painting machine to make glowstone look like normal blocks to light up my place

16:45, unless you have a mod installed that somehow changes it, azalea bushes are incapable of growing unless you bonemeal them

Immersive portals doesn't work with most mods I even tested in that version

Honestly that's just a shader incompatibility... There's nothing I can really do about it unless ars nouveau changes to support shaders at that block
