They still actively login to curseforge (they were last active today) but they stopped actively developing mods in 2021. More than likely just got a job as a software developer, some of us don't like coding outside of work when we've been doing it all day, work life balance and all that.
I went with the Powah thermo generators. I manually pushed up to the blazong tier so i could make blazong crystal blocks to put under them for the 280% energy boost. That carried me through up until making a nitro reactor which took me all the way to a max fission reactor. Just finished the pack last night and got the tome of knowledge, was a ton of fun! Thanks for the great pack.
Same for me. They just are so easy to have running without having to to automate to much in the early game. I do want to make the reactor Chosen made out of thermal it just looks cool.
the easiest power generation thing imo is the rainbow generator from iron furnace mod and using the infinite fuel item from project e and you get over 50k power very cheap
@@jackstaaar5 they all need the generator upgrade and all have to work at the same time and also their buffers shouldn’t be full if so the rainbow generator won’t generate 50k

I also went with lava power, but I opted for Magmators from Powah. People say it's more crafting but seeing you craft and set up 36 of those dynamos to get 2k FE which is equivalent to a single Niotic Magmator I'm not convinced. 😂
@@dejsimiwerkin8681 but you need quite a bit of power to get niotic stuff. Which is why powah is either a time sink or the power setup you do after your early game power.

Assuming that you have no power storage and ignoring any power that may be stored in the Magmator and Energizing Rods - relying solely on the generation capability of your Magmator it takes around 30s to get Energized Steel to upgrade from Basic to Hardened, then around 3.5 min to get Blazing Crystals and after that 4 min to get Niotic Crystals. I wouldn't really consider 8 min to be a time sink. 😆

Additionally, those calculations were the absolute worst case scenario which doesn't exactly reflect the actual gameplay as the Magmator and Energizing Rods store some energy in them as well, sometimes giving you a few instant crystals. Also crafting more than 1 Magmator at once will speed it up, bc when you take down 1 of the Magmators to upgrade it the other will keep on generating and storing power which can then be used to insta energize a crystal.
It can create up to 23k power with upgrades (late game upgrades probably more but they are extremely expensive), but it will be cheaper to get into other systems before upgrading all. Totally loved the design though! Thanks for the video Chosen
Heh, I got four of those thermal sterling engines producing 1600 rf each. The thermal extra energy production upgrades are OP with +300% for 0.8× fuel energy. And with emc some charcoal blocks are real cheap. A quarry can be run, and make massive profits

my personal fav mekanism bio generator and then expanding to the ethylene gas burners, using simple villagers farms hooked to a crusher its super easy and strong
Once I get blaze rods, I make half a dozen Powah spirited thermo generators. Using blazing crystal blocks it bumps the efficiency up to 280% efficiency.
I used his initial combustion gen’s from the beginning then quickly swapped to flux for transference. Also luckily got a Draconic Generator, will probably use the magmatic dynamos tho since it’s always been my go to power
I also went a bit into the Powha mod but stopped early, got too focused on building up EMC. Will get back to it when I need to but can’t wait to do more.
yeah id started with the powah solar panel then once got mekanisam going was getting a net loss over night though just used the sleeping bag if needed went into using the powah thermal gens with blazing crystal blocks for the extra boost like many others here :) may be a lot of recursive crafting but most efficient and least input of fuel from my point of view.
For me the easiest power is building a wind turbine farm (mekanism). I have about 105 turbines at the build limit and the power is insane for how cheap it is. Also built a little cloud that the turbines stand on top of to make it look nicer lol.
For those who want approx 30 million EMC per second income without any Archi-items yet: Create an RFTools dimension flat full with diamond blocks, mine with fully infused builder (quarry card with filter to diamonds only) and feed them into the EMC link. To keep up with the flow, compress the diamonds in the compacting drawer to 2x (you can use a second drawer if your EMC link is too low level). You can create a dimension that literally has diamonds only, from Y level -62 all the way up to 120. To do so, create a dimension like this: Diamond block Terrain - flat Feature - none Biome - none Structure - none Sit back and relax, think about your life choices (time to throw away that fancy ore multiplier setup you invested in), consider building something stupid or going on an adventure. For the time being, all your block and material needs are covered :)
So I did the same power set up you did and I was working on the inscriber stuff and suddenly my power stopped working and my muchines weren't getting power. Everything looks normal so I'm confused. Do you have an idea what happened?
@@lacrosseman02 This is my go to for a lot of modpacks. It's just so easy. Building gadgets & wind turbines for the win. If bigger reactors is in the pack then it does immediately invalidate early mekanism though. But then mekanism hits back in the end game with the millions of FE/t.
There's a much easier and much more powerful starter energy source (smth like 4800rf/tick) but I'm afraid that it's an oversight and revealing it here might get it fixed, but I'll give a hint: it uses the easy villagers mod
I'm reasonably sure I know what you're referring to. Emeralds are friends. That being said, I used them to upgrade my Thermo gens from Powah to Spirited tier. Five of those give me enough power to run a void dimension of ancient debris cubes for EMC generation, functionally breaking the pack wide open on that front. All I need to do now is set up an RFTools builder or something similar to automate the process, though the pick I have right now does make it quick work all on its own...
The way ive made my mid game power is using cyclic item gen, with how cheap it is to make it is very cheap to make a big farm fueled by dragons breath.

Chosen ive got a technical question regarding the hose pully. Not that anyone would but could it pull from something that acts as an infinite source such as a kitchen sink or a tank with that capacity or lets say i happen to be crazy enough to place 10000 buckets of blazing pyro would it really give an infinite source?

I love your content but I frequently skip the lava-create-power and mobgrindingutils episode because it’s just getting repetitive. I know these are obviously the best early game but I’d love more variety because it’s not like other options don’t exist.
Doesn't the copy past gadget do the same like the schematic canons? And yeah, you can store schematics, but you can also just have a check with exchanging gadgets or you juat take 2 seconds to mark the copy area again...
Hi, with your whole scientist theme I had an idea. What if you added "Armourer's workshop" into the modpack and create/find some lab coat, goggles or flask accesorie? It's a cosmetic mod for custom 3D models for tools, weapons, armour ect.
anyone else having issues with the ender tank not pulling lava from nether if its chunk loaded? Its acting like its not, I even chunk loaded a 3x3 around my chunk and I'm still having that issue.
Wanted to cut the dynamos and the fluid pipes with the copy paste tool, and the game crashed (and keeps crashing). Don't try that at home. Lost my world...
Amazing build Not here to do it again. But you kinda copied your project architect 1 base build again. Block wise you kinda mixed it differently. But for how it is. you built an underground facility where you which looks futuristic where most automation will occur. Not gonna say more

The "and this is" doesn't fit the inflection rhythm of the modpack name. I like to use a gas burning generator from mekanism burning ethylene. right now im using moss blocks, they're only 12emc each

Nautilus Shells are treasure fishing loot in the base game, but it seems loot tables are different considering you get tridents for some reason

My first power setup is a wind turbine farm at build limit. I'm a big fan of Mekanism lol
Also using flux points and plugs to avoid having to route power anywhere with pipes.

copypaste gadget > create cannon
Copypaste gadget is amazing, but the clicking is fidgety. Create feels silky smooth.
Building gadgets is a lot more powerful though.

my first power gen was starter powah reactor, before crafting it i used comb. gen to power my AE2 storage system💀
