i just started this modpack and spawned underneath an AIRSHIP VILLAGE god im so hyped to play the heck out of this modpack
In case anyone wants to farm withers a bit more effectively, you can actually get a wither spawn egg by using a weapon with the capturing enchantment (though I'm not sure this is intentional). You may have to kill it a few times to get it but once you do you can throw that spawn egg into a spawner and it will spawn withers. This comes with all the benefits of an apotheosis spawner and can spawn more than one at a time!
I wonder if you can use a mob swab to also get the spawn egg?

Even with links he would have to use MK2 condenser because the cheap links have a very limited input rate. Much lower than the mining speed.
@@entitledOne Fair, but with his EMC he can probably handle a somewhat higher tier. And it's not like that one thing will produce infinitely. It'll have plenty of time to chew through the stacks before he switches to a different cube, unless he sits and doesn't go do other stuff anyway, and if he's just going to sit there and wait, it's not really saving that much time to condense it when he could just be tossing it straight into a link or tablet.
Sure, it might not be as fast, but it's automated and he can multi-task. This way he has to come back to do it manually if he wants to actually get the EMC. At least set up a Link taking from the Condenser. He has easy access to at least Magenta Matter, and likely more. He only needs two of a tier to upgrade them, so he could probably get to a decent one quick. And worst case? Use multiple links.
I was using MK1 links for all my EMC farms until I upped my Archimeat production to 11 different crafts at a time. I only increased it by a tier or two and it was able to keep up no problem. MK1 couldn't handle it, but MK3 or so was more than enough, and that's not that much more expensive, since MK3 is Magenta, which he has.
Another option would be setting up a Quantum Link Chamber and using Wireless connectors to place multiple quarries at a time and just put it all into his AE System and have that exporting into a high-ish tier Link.
*Shrugs* Whatever, not worth arguing about. I just feel like he's over complicating it. At the point he's at, he should be able to push through all the requirements for Archimeat within a couple hours. And then this whole thing becomes pointless. Cool, but pointless. Once I had all the cooking done, it was simple to get everything else, even if it was really annoying to find the Thermal Mobs. >.
@@JS173 The whole point of Chosen’s channel is to explain and walk the viewer through the many different mods of modded minecraft, not to find the most efficient way of doing something.
@@mattyicee I mean, yeah, but that doesn't mean he has to use the most complicated way. Look, I've used his way of doing things in various modpacks, so it's not like I'm complaining, I just feel like this time he's not taking the best route.
Early on, right when he first got access to the Links, he said he'd be using them a lot. So far he's used about 3? Maybe a little more? He has access, and anyone following along would have access, so why use a less effective option? It's the same end result.
Again, not complaining, just feels odd to use more effort than needed, when there's a more efficient option. That's all.
@@JS173 It’s the difference between content creation and playing by yourself, for yourself. He’s been playing modded minecraft for like 7-8 years now, he definitely knows the most efficient ways of doing things. He specifically will not do something the most efficient way to showcase a different way of doing something or a different mod that isn’t often used. He’s explained this a million times becuz the “why aren’t u doing it this way, this way is better” comment comes up so often.
On number 7 i got a world with a infinite world filled to the brim with raw nickel blocks (like stone in the overworld) with some small caves and with legendary and rare blobs spawning all over the place. Also if you set a normal terrain dimlet after your raw gold dimlet you get a superflat world with 120 layers of uninterrupted raw gold blocks
I once created an RF world that had the ground covered in item frames, and the moment I teleported it, every single frame popped out of the ground.
I had to reopen the game twice before I could use the delete entities command to buy me enough time to get out of that world.

Make a diamond block super flat dimension
it works, but trials will conflict with the builder quarry, it cannot mine spawners and trial ones can't even be removed on survival...
Use a no structure dimlet to remove all structures, worked well for me, I do 300x300 radius gives me 42 million emc per sec
@@shadoworldsgamma You can just put in a filter card and filter for diamond blocks, or set it to the mode where it skips not possible actions

Why does my game lag so much after I created a dimension. Once I got back to normal world it started lagging and now unplayable. Could run smooth 120fps before this
Just beat the pack and make the Tome of Knowledge, thanks for the modpack Chosen! I kid you not, I got three Transmutation Interfaces from quest rewards, THREE!

Laser drill in the end with purple lens. Pump it into a ender chest. In the over world, connect the ender chest to a block placer and have a block breaker break it. Super great automated emc.
one thing i noticed is that you dont need to use a feature dimlet for creating a dimension with the block you choose, i got lucky and found an ancient debris dimlet after about an hour or so of looting those chests and found out that you can just put a terrain dimlet after the block. I put a flat terrain after the ancient debris and it generated an ancient debris superflat thats about 184 blocks deep

one of my earliest purple bag quest rewards (before I even had a refined storage or AE2 system built) was getting the transumation interface ... I was totally floored when I saw it had an emc value of over one billion! I quickly threw it into my system and then planned to use it immediately after I got my storage system built ... so cool to have access to all my emc items for crafting now! I have tried and failed at making a new block dimlet ... hoping your video will help me figure out what I am doing wrong ... too bad this mod doesn't have any kind of manual ... it''s very confusing
Bear wisdom of the day: I think you can make a Refined Obsidian knife for easier, faster kills? IIRC, it has 8.5 DMG at 2 swing speed, which is quite POG, when combined with some powerful enchants! :D
for bosses, maybe, but for the rest of the mobs not really, cause the project e thing he's using has a base damage of 24-ish
@@shadoworldsgamma i am specifically suggesting the knife for the extra drops, fie the Delight mod ^.^ i think you can get then only by using their specific weapon and thus, the refined obsidian one would be better then the diamond one he is using

I was lucky enough to get a dimensional shard block dimlet from my mob farm (I think) and create a flat world made of dimensional shard blocks. I was then able to figure out (eventually) how to craft a world with diamond blocks.
Hi do you know how to make a feature dimlet for cubes?
Enderman drop dimlets so if you have a mob farm you should have a ton of different dimlet types!
@@zarnigames2199 To create the Feature Dimlet for Cubes, you'll first need a Common Lost Knowledge for Features. If you don't already have one you'll have to use the Research machine and some "unknown" Common Lost Knowledge and do research until you find one. I haven't done that much research so I've never gotten one before. Once you have it, put it in the Knowledge Holder and go back to the Dimlet Workbench and you should see it without clicking "All". Let me know if you've already gotten that far.

I tried to use the raw uranium block from Mekanism instead of gold, but the block absorber didn't want to take it. So I just went with the gold as well and had to use the sphere since I didn't have the cubes, which still makes around 620 million EMC. I've been loving the mod pack so far.

I found out you could make dimensions today exactly like the raw gold block one in the video. I felt like it was a bit cheaty, but given the author of the modpack is doing it, I don't feel bad anymore xD
I like looking in the Nether for dimensional shard ore. The bright blue on the red is easier for me to spot.

The thing about rftools i miss the most is the complex builder thingy, where you could put shape cards inside of shape cards and build complex structures using additive or subtractive shapes, i once build the base of a giant wizard tower and i miss that mod so much
always wanted to give RF Dimensions a try, would be cool to try a survival game where you have to survive in a random world or something
may give this modpack a go soon! (if my puter can handle it)
I use blocks of diamond, not as cubes, but as the ground in a flat world. Mine it down to bedrock, then scoot over a little and do it again. Pipe into an EMC Link. Nets me about 10 million EMC per second.
I just found a Diamond Block Dimlet immeadeatly in my first custom Dimension.

One time I was on an ATM6 server, and I was learning how to use RFtools dimension. Yeah, UH OH.
I ended up getting banned from using the mod after creating what I affectionately call "Corn Hell".
I was trying to generate End Highlands to get unobtainium ore, as ya do, but fate did not smile upon me and made EVERYTHING below the surface corn *crop* blocks. You know, like the things that grow on top of dirt.
As soon as one of them inevitably block updated, my friend and I crashed the *entire server*. Repeatedly. Until the owner could teleport us out using console commands.

just an idea why not add the blobs to your farm so there will be infinite of their drops
you can't swab them (i tried), so the only way to automate them would be ars or maybe industrial foregoing with the mob catchers/duplicators
in one of my worlds i got cubes of awakened draconiumb blocks which I can crush the ingots for 256k each dust
A super flat RFtools Dim made from blocks of diamonds is the best for emc generation
I ran out of emc while flying through the end and the warp stone DO NOT work while getting hurt by the void. I lost everything, should have used the rftools teleportation.

I must have missed in a previous episode, what has Chosen done to not need to worry about breathing? Is that from the Gem Helmet, or something else?
pretty sure its the gem helmet or one of the gem armour pieces, i have the same armour and i also dont need air. even with the red matter armour you would just start drowning but you cant die from it

Wouldn't be better to slap an EMC link near the builder and send everything inside with overclocked laserio? I set up 2 infused quarries on a diamond dimension with green EMC links each, a diamond barrel on top in just in case the link wasn't fast enough but at the end it wasn't needed, laser node with overclocked cards for extract and insert and a second one with a filter towards a trash can (anything non-EMC).
The only issue is the trials, havent found a dimlet to "remove all structures" so they don't spawn cause the spawners and vaults can't be removed and the quarry just stops no matter the settings.
What is the burn out like creating, fixing, upkeeping, playing your own pack I get burnt out just making a mod pack by throwing my favorite 40 mods into a folder and trying to play it. Idk how you do it

made a dimension and i lag so much I can barely move, cant do /home, cant open backpack either or EMC tablet to make a waystone to get back. Looks like my world is bricked!
I used diamond blocks in a super flat world. Does anybody have anything better? The absorber will not absorb project e matter blocks.

Hi, does anyone know how I make a feature dimlet key CUBE?
dont worry about it, you can use a terrain dimlet instead. Put the block you want before the terrain of your choosing, i used flat and it made a superflat entirley made of ancient debris. I only learned this by looking up the same question you asked and found out its really complicated to craft the dimlets as you need to research the dimlets somehow (possibly by just finding them)
Edit: I didnt make it to the part in the video where he literally shows how to do this so i was confused but to craft the cube feature just do exactly what chosen did in the video when he crafted the raw gold block dimlet. The same concept applies to the features, terrain and well everything else. You need to research the knowledge things then put them inside the knowledge holder which needs to be connected to the dimlet workbench. I would assume that the cube dimlet is a common one since most features ive gotten all seemed to be common including the cube liquid one. If not then just research all the types and find which one you need

Idk why you would ever use Powah for wireless RF when Flux Networks exists. Not only are the Powah items a pain in the butt to craft, but they can't be customised in any way.
I was lucky enough to find a terrain flat dimlet while flying around in one of these void worlds (great for looting the white cabins btw). Put some rare knowledge scrolls in the researcher and got the block of diamond block dimlet. Just combined the two and set up my quarry in that dimension. You guys know about any better methods of gaining EMC though?
Depends how far you progressed. Automating Archi-stuff is obviously gonna be way better, the first and very easy to automate Archimeat gives you net profit of 30M EMC per single craft.
I spent so much time just building my base that the superflat diamond block dimension carried me all the way up to automating fading matter.

I dont know is working . But i have an idea,why not try to make spawner with that blob from rftoolsdimension ,maybe is working and can get spawner egg like the other mobs

I was going to play this and Curseforge had an alternate login where you don't need to go through the launcher. I have all kinds of problems with the launcher so I thought I would set it up. Of course it didn't work because Microsoft always screws my logins. I don't know why I thought it would work. Now I can't log into Curseforge and run any mod pack. Thank you Microsoft. So I am playing FTB Skies again.

I swear once you play enough modpacks, they all end up being a rehash. I can't even bring myself to play this because I've done it all before several times, as far as minecraft modpacks go, it always ends up being the same, whether action and boss fighting or tech and automation

@@xxselenaxx2142 Sadly I'm not that creative for that side of MC, my selling point is a huge variety of quests including quests for lesser known smaller mods (especially those with bad documentation), and not only that but it's gotta have quest rewards or my ADHD/Autism brain is like "nah, no enjoy"
