I’ve tried this on plastic tumblers and with just a gentle squeeze it peels right off which makes sense if you figure we can peel the resin off of our plastic mixing cups. Am I doing something wrong?

okay I have heard SOOO many mixed answers, is it really safe to put epoxy on the plastic cups, will it not seep through? would putting dishwasher safe modge podge on first help that or just make it look streaky? I love the idea but just heard so many negative things saying don't do it.

hey girl, i saw that your question wasn’t answer so i thought i would try and help lol .. you can email or call the epoxy’s customer service line and ask them! that way you get a clear answer from the specific brand :) hope that helps!

does the vinyl not peel up eventually?! i can’t get mine to stay down! it peels most of the smaller/more intricate designs off 10 minute after applying the epoxy! any advice would be appreciated :)

No the vinyl will not peel off and what type of vinyl are you using?
How are you applying the epoxy? Thick or thin coat?
I recommend that you make sure to prep the surface like using alcohol and to apply pressure when adding the vinyl to whatever surface you are using. Make sure to mix the epoxy right and apply it using our fan brush.

@@McLoganSupplyCo i used permanent vinyl and did a thin coat. maybe it was too thick though! i was using my hands (with gloves) to apply. i will try a brush next time. thank you!!!

Do you have to sand cup before or after at all?? Or is it just smooth automatically when it’s done drying?

No sanding needed, after applying it will dry smooth.
