Permanent vinyl is not permanent on cups that are being used and washed a lot. Especially if you are going to put them in the dishwasher. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!’

I wouldn't recommend it. It will leave a texture

I don't know if I did this wrong but the glue started coming off, I did this for a gift for my sister but few days later she told the cup is peeling and cracking. I'm also a beginner at vinyl .

No. I wouldn't recommend on glitter. It probably won't hold

Helloo. Thank you for this tuitorial. I used this item but about an hour after i applied the last coat, but i noticed my nail will scratch the coat the modpodge makes?
maybe the coats were too thick? haven't had that problem

No. It will leave a texture
I use Dishwasher safe mod podge on my wine glasses. I do 2 coats as final costing.
Hello!! Is sealing this way safe to drink from and how long should the cup cure? I know regular mod podge is about 30 days.
I let it dry 24hrs and then give it a wash. After that, I use it
Can more than 5 coats be done? I did 5 coats and 1 of my customers showed me that a small piece is already lifting after 1 week

I was just about to do a vinyl on an acrylic Starbucks cup until I read somewhere that you have to seal it after. Have you tried using the modpodge on acrylic yet? I saw your comment on not to use this on mugs as it will leave textures. I wonder if it'll be the same with acrylic
yes, it will be the same on acrylic tumblers. I only suggest using it on plastic although you will always get the leathery texture

probably not, the spray is too light

i wouldnt spray on glass due to the texture the spray leaves behind. just use a heat gun on glass. that should help the vinyl

Hi so I did everything the same except I didn’t have anything to use for the inside of the cup to hold while I spray it. I held it with something else but I feel like when spraying it, it may of got a little inside as well I left them sitting for hours.My question is are the cups ruined or do you think they’ll be fine after washing?
cant say. it might wash off from the inside but it's not meant to come off easily
