- new 2023 southland 14ft 14k dump trailer moving a big snow drift around back where the melt runoff wont be a issue in the spring, if i leave the snow there to melt it makes a muddy mess in the yard when the snow melts.

Skid steer on hardpack is like ballet!! Epic stuff Ezra!
Hopefully everybody at the yard bought you a couple cold snacks for all that Is work.
Well Ezra, I hope you like the trailer because you bought it as it was. Have good days!
nice trailer, its uses are endless and should pay for itself in no time.
That little skid steer handled that big bucket pretty well.
Yeah that bucket is 8ft wide by by 3ft tall and it's a heavy built bucket. Weight is almost 1000 lbs empty. Probably the biggest bucket I'd recommend for that machine. Iv run a 9ft on it but it's definitely happier with the 8ft
Hay EZ ya missed a flake 😂😂 kidding. love the new trailer.
Ezra, that's quite the set up with the new dump trailer. Very practical purchase on your part considering the amount of snowfall that you receive annually. That little trailer will also be very useful during the warmer months for hauling soil, stone/gravel, etc. Way to go!
Yeah it will be useful for a lot more than just snow
Wow, so cool👍👍👍
I have the same trailer. Like it a lot. 2 things I did was. Put safety chain on the doors to keep them open when dumping. The pin get loose and the doors don’t always stay open or lock open.
Then I added to the cord for the controller. So I can bring it up to drivers seat. That way I don’t have to get out so much. Get out open doors grab controller get in truck raise dump pull forward lowered dump body get out close doors and go.
I'm going to go wireless with the dump control. That will be a future video
If you hit the bed on the bottom help releasing the snow/ trash. I surprise you didn’t build your own. But time is money. My friend and I built my own. Fun and cheaper 6 months weekends. But I love your new one. What I would do is add a tube rails on the sides for tie downs and d rings. I have the control cord long enough to use in the cab. Great for gravel.
would have been a fun project to build one but i don't have time for that. im going to make the dump controls wireless
Just came across your channel last night. I love it man. Down to earth old school. Keep it going man
I appreciate that!
WOW alot of SNOW
You are some guy Ezra! It's always interesting to tune into your channel to see what your up to.👏
Best wishes from the UK 💂 🇬🇧💂
I appreciate that!
Awesome trailer!
Good luck
Thanks for sharing.
I bought a dump trailer 5 years ago , the most versatile trailer I've ever owned.
Nice trailer and it sure beats a bucket at a time.
Although that could have definitely been moved a bucket at a time. Or pushed back there customer lots it's not really a option as it has to come off the property and one bucket full at a time going 15 miles away at 7mph just wouldn't cut it...lol
Very nice Ezra thanks for your time and consideration top job 🔧🛠️🚜🚛
Great set up, it's always nice to have something new once in a while. 👍💛
Awesome and thanks for sharing!!! Take care and be Safe!!! Can you also haul your skid steer inside of the trailer?
Finnish watching the video and your know 😜
I’m definitely looking forward to seeing Spring come and the tree’s budding and the grass turning green. We don’t get much snow here in central NC but it’s been one more soggy winter. Days of temperatures hovering just above freezing with constant rain. I guess it’s the cold nasty weather that makes one appreciate the beautiful days. 👍
Hey buddy good to see you good luck see you soon
Another good addition to the toy box . looks like it takes a pretty good payload.
I love it that you don't have to shovel sunshine.....
Yes sir nice 👍
great dump trailer you have ther can use for anithing definetly you deserved works hard enoucht,, btw you can build alot of snowmans lol
Lol yeah I could make a whole snowman army
I think you’re having way too much fun! 😂😂😂😂
Happy for you Ezra enjoy your new toy. You've worked your ass off and totally deserve it!!!! ENJOY!!!! That Bobcat was the best purchase you ever made. It think it might have worked out a bit better for you if had tracks.
First skid steer I ever bought was a old pile of junk didn't think I'd really use it enough to justify spending much on one. Found out how much I really needed one and bought my 763. Been a extremely useful piece of equipment. Tracks would be nice but track machines are more expensive to maintain and tires work well enough for everything I do.
@@Ezrider359 tracks suck in the snow and ice anyway. Chains on a rubber tire machine are the way to go if you need more traction.
Snow tracks are actually really impressive in the snow dirt c lug tracks kinda suck for snow. I don't even bother with chains. I do a fair bit of snow on paved and concrete surfaces and chains will leave marks and I don't think the extra traction is worth taking them on and off all the time. I do just fine without them. Big thing is keep your front tires on the ground see a lot of guys plowing with there front tires in the air and wondering why they can't get traction.
Handy little trailer!
Ezra good purchase on your part. You can haul it all now if the 4 wheeler can’t handle it you got Big Red.
Looooking good Brother ,,.. Nice and tidy!!Cheers! Coffees on!!;-)!
Very useful trailer!!! You will love having it!
That's a nice little setup. I would have liked to see those rear doors open all the way flat to the trailer though. As it it, they are kind of sticking out there in the breeze, possibly getting in the way at times.
I was thinking the same thing! Had me Cringing a little..Ezra will fix that. He is the Man!
Ezra. Congratulations on the New Dump trailer...(Check tightness on lugs) You can also drop it off at job sites while you are in Big Red. Homeowners doing new roof's. concrete clean up, etc. Good Luck !
Nice trailer 👌.
Impressive trailer Ez!
Nice n new too !!
Cheers from Sydney Australia MATE

great looking trailer and unlike the dump 👀 truck it has a clean title...that trailer will real useful with the barn doors...
I'm guessing you mean tow truck. 👍
@@Ezrider359 that was a really nice looking tow truck. That was a shame tho.
@@Ezrider359 minor detail....🥴
Thanks for the video Ezra gads you have all the neat toys, a Pete, bobcat, dump trailer, how about a CAT?
I'd like to get more heavy equipment
@@Ezrider359 How about you exoculate this and go for a D-14 Caterpillar dozer that should solve any problems, if some is good more has got to be gooder.😁
Once the shiny new paint wears off it won't slide out so good... might have to get some slick stuff... we used filon like they use on RV's. BTW i wish we had some snow so i could play around like that... LOL
Well that seems to work quite nicely.👍🏼
Ezra, Nice looking trailer. Lot of uses for it any time of the year. It will pay for itself in no time. When you backed the trailer up looked like you might have done it once or twice. Take Care & Be Safe.
Maybe 3 times. Thanks for watching 👍
EZ that’s a nice addition for your snow removal operation.
Yeah it should be useful year round
Damn I was cold look I war all that snow. You could bring it to northwestern Oklahoma lol we are in a drought.
Bring a truck I'll load you with all you can carry 😉
@@Ezrider359 been hoping the good lord would supply it. Not sure how much we would get down here lol
You should get with some swimming pool manufactures, fill those pools build this winter with snow so in the spring when the snow melts it will fill the pools. No, not a good idea? Well, what do I know. I'm from Florida and it's sunny and 79 degrees. haha. Nice trailer they really come in handy.
Hello there bud. Hope all is well. Great video as always.✌️👍🙏🙏
Another good tool in your fleet most likely be more profitable than the big stuff lol lol ...keep up the good work its funny how a truck owner thinks when u go look at something to buy u always have that thought in ya head now how can I make this work more profitable and cost affective lol lol well I do maybe it's just me ...luv the content be safe out there keep up the good work...
I doubt it will be more profitable than the big stuff but it should still be very useful
She's a beaut Clark.😁😁
I’m gonna buy one of these trailers this week, I’m opting for the 16k tho just because I’m prone to maxing things out. What are your thoughts on yours? Still loving it? I used to have a suretrac until it was in an accident
Either undercoat it with fluid film or something before you start using it. It will make the trailer last 100 times longer. Even in FL where I'm at the rust out from the underside where all the crap builds up and never gets washed off.
Seems like all the smaller trailers come with garbage paint on them that flakes off and rusts in a few years. Seems like every brand has that issue. Not sure if it's cheap paint or poor prep or maybe some of both.
@@Ezrider359 yea idk what it is. My car trailer and dump trailer both did it. I sand both down and used some oil bases rustoleum and then fluid film them both (used the black stuff they now have) and never been an issue since. On the wooden deck on the car trailer I coated the wood with used motor oil from my trucks. Top and bottom. Let them bake in the sun for a few days. Sealed them right up! I can have a hurricane go over that wood and it just beads up lol
I know you are playing with your new toy, but wouldn't it be faster to just load the side dump?
Being that I could have used the side dump there yes. But I wouldn't have been as easy to get it back to where I wanted to stack that snow and part of why I used that trailer is i wanted to get a little better visual estimate of how much that trailer could get on in a load so I could more accurately estimate customer jobs.
Nice trailer Ezra. The fleet keeps growing. That Bobcat looks like serious fun. You should think about renting it out then some dummy like me would pay you to clear your lot. 😁😃😂🙃
Lots of places you can rent a skid steer from. Bobcat dealer here has some rental machines as well as places like United rentals.
SOMEONE LIKES PLAYING IN THE SNOW..... LOL
Pushing around snowflakes from a heated cab can be kinda fun at times. When you have been plowing every day for a week straight get gets pretty old.
We’re you pulling a hopper today around Killdeer?
Yup
I thought I heard someone try to hollar at me on the cb over by killdeer.
Yes sir that was me with the white and blue international 9900i pulling a hopper. You’re truck looks even better in person. What were you hauling? I’m hauling frac sand.
@@Rafael.Alvarez urea out of Beulah out to wolf point Montana
How does the trailer tip is the ram operated by electrical 12 volt supply
12v motor spins a hydraulic pump
Can find a 1000 uses for a good trailer, Plus something to tow on the weekends 😎
😎👌
No thank you!!!
If i mail you a cummins ecm could you program it for a cm870?? What would you charge?
i don't have the software to do that, sorry
That's a lot of snow how long till it's all melted
Probably April.
What year Bobcat is that?
Mid to late 90's
⭐⭐⭐
Why a "southland"?
Because it seemed like the best bang for the buck out of everything I could find available.
Algorithm boost
Looks like you have a case of global warming 😂
Great investment with the trailer Ezra! 🙂👍 That thing will pay for itself in no time 🔧🔩
Iv wanted one for a long time but there's never any good deals used and didn't really want to spend new money but I'm sure it will prove to be very useful
