The combination of that trailer on old red definitely looks good. Just a suggestion where you said you were going to buy some color match spray paint for those fender brackets, they make a really good bedliner that’s rubberized that you can tint to match and then long as you prep the surface properly you’ll never need to do it again.
Ezra nice piece of equipment!!...old red lookin good!! I admire everything you do!! Im retired driver 43 yrs. Retired in 2018 good luck be safe good to see you again!!
I doubt you have to worry about it where you’re at, but two rear lift axles are an absolute blessing on an 8 axle lowboy in Philadelphia. Total game changer for me.
these trailers are only like 43 feet to start with there pretty easy to get in and out of tight places as it is. the rear lifts tend to drag and skip across the ground more often than a front lift would. the front lift would also help you get out when material flows in around the tires. is my reasoning why i wanted to order a front lift axle. but pretty much no one else does that. on the strech deck or the hopper a rear lift would come in handy at times.
Looking sweet there EZ. Pretty sure you will get long service out of your new trailer. Nice to see you constantly reinvesting in the business. I wish continued success👍🏴🇺🇸
Nice Upgrade EZ! It’s going to be quiet for sure. I’m glad you saved that Midland. You’re excellent on upkeep and that trailer has a lot of years in her with you hauling.
Ezra, you aren't kidding about the cost, pre covid I looked at buying a full aluminum flatbed. Prices were 40k-55k, plain Jane up to fancy. My new Benson is 2023, 62 ton capacity, coil package, J plates, outside aluminum wheels... 74k dollars, and I didn't get the axle pressure package or lift axle. Shit is out of hand. Great score on the trailer, it looks great behind Red
The only good thing about it is it drives up the cost of your used equipment you want to upgrade as well. I was able to use my old trailer for 9 years for only the cost of upkeep.
Hey driver! As a driver from eastern North Carolina I want to say I like all your videos and content that you show! Need to make more videos sooner!! 10-4 driver be safe im gone!
Sharp looking trailer Ezra! 😁👍 I like the fact it matches your truck so well. Should last you quite a while since the last owner took good care of it. Take care and stay safe 🔧🔩
Yeah same colors I would have ordered if I went new. And it's really nice for it's age. Part of me still wishes I went new but my wallet liked this trailer better 😆
i think a new trailer would look just fine but the first scratch or chip would be more painful..lol with the exception of the step deck all my trailers are more than 20 years newer than the truck...lol
Hi Ezra that's a nice trailer, good tarp drive system easy to change, some thought went into the making of that? looks like you have tuned your head pretty good on something there, go careful my friend , look forward to your videos, ATB & God bless Wayne UK............
Is the wheel ok? That sounded...ouchy! Congrats on the new wagon. I still watch, and love how this truck has come along, from a standard setup to the frame extension, tag, all the other work. Not a glamour thing, like too many channels, doing things just for views. Though Old Red is one mighty glamorous machine. Im still amazed at how one man, can do so much improvements, repairs, and then landscaping stuff. The power of freedom. I cant even dig a hole without the town wanting a ton of papers. A shed...a common shed is a no no. I dream of moving out west but, life is funny. Health is a blessing if you got it. I havent even done as much as starting my fleet up, and now all the batteries are drained. Hopefully not toast. But, we move on, and Im inspired. Heart attack be damned. Gonna light up a fire under my butt!
Nice wagon. I do learn so much from you. Have a year in doing liquid chemical smoothboard tankers. Time to move on and make 87 % of the load with a new job in 2 weeks. Wish me luck. Stay warm this winter. Thanks for everything.
I ride a motorcycle. I really appreciate dump trucks having a tarp over their loads, because of the fine sand/dust from the truck's hitting me in the face when I have to follow them on a highway.
G’day Ezra good to see you mate and old Red, that’s a nice side tip trailer and great how your adding remote controller to it. Take care and look after yourself regards John
Dude; you just dont know how you motivate me to keep my equipment working..... my last but not least project is to obtain a garage somewhat like yours; maybe less bays but man yeah... you keep me grinding.... thxs..... God bless an stay safe an healthy out there.....
the guy i bought it from takes very good care of his equipment, unfortunately while it was rented out some stuff was neglected but iv more or less got it squared away now.
Because the side dump is less than 45' to start with so turning really isn't a issue front lift would be less likely to drag or skip on the ground over bumps ECT also sometimes material will flow around the tires when you dump so being able to lift the front axle could be beneficial pulling away from the pile after you dump.
Till your tarping and untapping 15+ times per day. Being able to tarp and untarp on the go makes a big difference especially if you're being paid by the ton.
Good morning Ezra, Just curious on the payload of the triaxle sidedumps. I pull a set of Midland super b side dumps up here in Saskatchewan. These trailers are pretty heavy, my max load is 39700kg what's that a little over 87000 pounds. My trailers are 2018s and I think we are on our 3rd set of tarp motors.
Boy doesnt winter come quickly? Glad to see you and Red made it another year,, How many miles have you put on the Cat so far? Hope to hear from you soon, Bill
Yeah it's been starting to get a bit frosty in the mornings. I'll still be running side dump into December this year tho. About 180k miles on the cat so far
its just a straight purple power degreaser from Walmart, breaks down the bug guts and makes them power wash right off. any degreaser works. use it on the grill bumper front of the air cleaner windshields visor and stacks and mirrors, basically everywhere that gets plastered with bugs.
well im in nd, and a big part of it is many parts of the state are very spread out and your typically follow road work crews around from job to job all over the region and there may not be a hotel within 50-80 miles of where your working. also dump work is seasonal so a lot of us use our trucks for other things as well where we still need sleepers. i do tend to use my camper rather than the sleeper when your on bigger projects where your be in one area for a extended period of time.
you can swap a 10 for a 13 without wiring but you will need to shorten the driveshaft. i don't know anyone with any available rentals right now, you could try the dealerships rdo i29 ect
This man, EZ, is humble and takes great pride in his work. Enjoyable to view these videos.

Hay. Buddy. Good to see you an ole red
Really Nice Trailer although I would touch up all those rock chips before winter comes keep the rust down due to your salty winters.
That trailer looks really good behind old red . Congratulations on the new trailer
Ezra nice piece of equipment!!...old red lookin good!! I admire everything you do!! Im retired driver 43 yrs. Retired in 2018 good luck be safe good to see you again!!
Thanks 👍
Good to see Old Red still on the road, thanks for the 411.
The Midland is matched up pretty good with Old Red. If there’s a shade tree that fix it up right it’s you there driver. Congratulations Ezra.
You always inspire me and make me feel better about what I am doing out here with my old 93 379 I really appreciate you. Thanks a lot man.
Me too!!

I felt your pain when you hit the rim breaking the bead. I have the same reaction when I do it haha

I wish continued success👍🏴🇺🇸
I sure do enjoy these videos. Thank you for posting them.
Glad to see you're still kicking. Good to see Big Red is stiill earning her keep.
Ole Red sure looks really good when cleaned up and that's a really nice looking Ford Truck in the background.
Beautiful trailer Ezra. Looks like it was destined to be pulled by Ol' Red.
Good to see you and Ol' Red back again. Always interesting videos.
Old red and your new trailer look perfect together.
Nice Upgrade EZ! It’s going to be quiet for sure. I’m glad you saved that Midland. You’re excellent on upkeep and that trailer has a lot of years in her with you hauling.

Hi Ezra. The truck looks amazing with the trailer. God bless!
Nice addition to Ole Red
Matches ol red really good.
Looks like work lol, new toys are nice, they all need some work to keep them rolling, nice to see you
Good to see you Ezra, like the trailer and the 359 is awesome kool and have a great day and I'll catch ya on the next one
Nice set up, it suits "old red" perfectly , a new one would look out of place behind it, plus you saved a bunch of money, win win in my books,.
i think a new trailer would look just fine but the first scratch or chip would be more painful..lol with the exception of the step deck all my trailers are more than 20 years newer than the truck...lol
Like your new wagon. I cant keep up with a remote in my recliner so good luck with that.

Nice wagon you got there. Goes well with old Red
Nice trailer, Ezra! Really complements the Pete. I'm sure she'll pay for herself in no time at all.
Good to see more videos EZ. Nice trailer.

I’m glad that things are going well enough to upgrade equipment.
G’day Ezra good to see you mate and old Red, that’s a nice side tip trailer and great how your adding remote controller to it. Take care and look after yourself regards John
Yes! Same here...thank you!
Looks dang good behind old red. congrats man👍

Been awhile since the last video , but good to see you .
Great slide guitar, I was jamming with it while I was watching you, love the channel
You sure do love Big Red. I’ll take her off your hands if you ever want to sell her!!!
Haven't saw a new video in a while, always great content. Just wanted to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and hope you have a great new year.
Thanks, you too!
Nice trailer. Good move updating equipment. Glad to see a new video from you to!
Nice addition to the fleet!
Very happy to see you back.
New trailer are only new until it’s first load. Log good
Nice purchase!
Good to see you posting a vidoe now and then, always good content. Thnx!
That is a very nice used trailer. My guys would have destroyed a new trailer in no time. Thanks for the video Ezra.
the guy i bought it from takes very good care of his equipment, unfortunately while it was rented out some stuff was neglected but iv more or less got it squared away now.
Looks good buddy.
Looking very nice 👍
Thanks for sharing.
She's a beauty!! Coffees on Brother!!Cheers!;-)!
16:16 That is not mine. I only use new screws without corrosion.
Looks sharp! I'm curious as to why you'd prefer a front lift vs rear lift? I love my rear lift on my grain trailer it's a 50ft, but it turns like a 45
Because the side dump is less than 45' to start with so turning really isn't a issue front lift would be less likely to drag or skip on the ground over bumps ECT also sometimes material will flow around the tires when you dump so being able to lift the front axle could be beneficial pulling away from the pile after you dump.
Mint video just wana see more 👍
great match glad to see u postin videos again
Looking great
Good old days a couple of bungee cords and new tarp. All fixed. 😂🎉 days.
Till your tarping and untapping 15+ times per day. Being able to tarp and untarp on the go makes a big difference especially if you're being paid by the ton.
Nice. I was wondering if the color was one of the factors to your decision and then you brought it up. Definitely looks good behind Old Red
yeah its the same color combo i would have ordered if i ordered a new trailer.
I like your videos you need to fix up a cabover truck
Can you explain the tricks of side dumping so not to get stuck?
Good morning Ezra,
Just curious on the payload of the triaxle sidedumps.
I pull a set of Midland super b side dumps up here in Saskatchewan. These trailers are pretty heavy, my max load is 39700kg what's that a little over 87000 pounds.
My trailers are 2018s and I think we are on our 3rd set of tarp motors.
Our weight laws are a bit different but I can legally scale 29 short tons
Treat every time you post keep it up ez!!
Very nice sir.!

Yeah it's been starting to get a bit frosty in the mornings. I'll still be running side dump into December this year tho. About 180k miles on the cat so far
The finish on the paint job seems to be holding its own. Is the Mack doing ok?@@Ezrider359
Yay! An Ezra video!
Hey Ezra where were you man? Please upload more.
Excited winters coming lol?
not a fan of the cold but looking to forward to spending a little more time on other things rather than being in the truck all day every day.
👍🏻🍻
Very cool my teacher
What was that you were spraying on old red before power washing? A chrome cleaner of some sort
its just a straight purple power degreaser from Walmart, breaks down the bug guts and makes them power wash right off. any degreaser works. use it on the grill bumper front of the air cleaner windshields visor and stacks and mirrors, basically everywhere that gets plastered with bugs.
@@Ezrider359 thanks
Why do guys that pull side dumps all have sleeper trucks instead of day cabs? I see so many in ND, SD and MN.
well im in nd, and a big part of it is many parts of the state are very spread out and your typically follow road work crews around from job to job all over the region and there may not be a hotel within 50-80 miles of where your working. also dump work is seasonal so a lot of us use our trucks for other things as well where we still need sleepers. i do tend to use my camper rather than the sleeper when your on bigger projects where your be in one area for a extended period of time.
@@Ezrider359
That makes sense, thank you for helping me understand why you do what you what do. I really enjoy your videos!!
Could you please tell me how weight can you carry legally?
29 tons in the box
You know where I can rent one?
Also what rear ends you have in your Mack and can I swap 10speed to 13 without any major wiring and switching
you can swap a 10 for a 13 without wiring but you will need to shorten the driveshaft. i don't know anyone with any available rentals right now, you could try the dealerships rdo i29 ect
Ezra what's the advantage of a side dump as opposed to an end dump?
much more versatile they also don't tip over as easily.
You can use a side dump in the wind.......
@@Ezrider359 does the side dump put any extra wear on the tractor?
Nice man 👍
Cooool video
How many tons can you haul on that setup
29 tons legally.
Man i just come across ypur channel.
Is there a way incould contact you for a little advice
Facebook ezrider359 is probably the best way
How much you score her for?
not going to say exactly but somewhere midway between the price of what i sold my old trailer for and what a new trailer costs.
Nice looks great
😎👍
Bug hits or salt? Probably bug hits. Thanks a million. St.Paul,Minnesota.
not sure what your referring to?
@@Ezrider359 What is worse for your truck, winter and salt, or grasshoppers getting smashed into your truck. Million thanks, From St.Paul.
@@johndemeen5575 salt id defiantly worse, the bugs can cause paint damage as well, but the salt is much worse.
@@Ezrider359 Very kind of you to respond.
Nice update ! How’s the cat treating you ?
It's good
